Nice room and very nice restaurant. Indoor and outdoor pools are always nice as long as they are heated.
Helpful front desk staff.
Toilet needed to be tightened to the floor and the wax seal replaced.

Staff was very helpful, I am disabled and they helped a lot , Better than the high rises in Santiago. At modest price . In the center of wine country. Rooms were a bit more traditional. Food and breakfast good .

Basic hotel. The property is nice, but is lacking lots of maintenance. I'd just recommend it for a short stay and only if no other option is available.

A problem with a lot of Chilean hotels. Lots of small things. Only 1 hand towel for 2people. No heat in rooms with pretty cool night temperatures. No hot water one moment. I had specifically booked a king bed. We got a full suite with just a king bed
One of the wait staff added 25% to our dinner bill. When it was brought to our attention, she said she had made a mistake and that it had been very busy. There were two customers in the restaurant when she said”It was “very busy”. The resort seems generally disorganized.

Good hotel, very nice surroundings and peaceful. The hotel has a good heated pool indoors, and sauna, just the jacuzzi need be fix the jets for it too work better. There is a restaurant on site that has many food options, and a good breakfast in the morning. Waiters and servers very professional and friendly. The hotel is within close proximity to many wineries you can tour, as well the hotel offers masseuse very good and professional services, the staff are friendly really helpful and very accommodating to any requests during our stay. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit these areas of the Casablanca winery.

Beautiful property! Has be well kept and maintained. We had a nice stay during the offseason. Honestly, I think we were the only couple at the entire resort so it was very quiet. Received assistance booking a wine tour which was super helpful since we don’t speak Spanish. Only complaint is the rooms were cold when we arrived. Took a while for the heater to warm up the room, then the heat turned off in the morning. Otherwise, nice stay!

Seems like this was a nice hotel 20 years ago, today is in very bad shape with all the facilities with literally zero maintenance.
Stain walls with humidity all over, dirty carpets, dust and spider webs everywhere, no room amenities, super small tv with bad cable sign, no good wifi coverage, depressing gym and front desk with bad attitude.
Don’t go!!

Hotel is wonderfully quaint. It is quiet and very relaxing. It is old, tired and very worn out, though. Badly in need of maintenance, but clean, safe and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. You need to go here for the food. The restaurant was EXCELLENT.

Excellent hotel, welcoming owners, great location!

The hotel is in a great location very close to many wineries. The hotel owners set us up with a taxi and reserved a winery tour for us (which was much appreciated since we do not speak spanish and this would be difficult for us). The hotel has secure parking (behind a gate) and the property is beautiful with an indoor and outdoor pool, tennis courts and hot tub. The rooms are a little bit dated, but everything is very clean and works well - I think the outdated nature gives the room character. The hotel owners are very nice and welcoming and they prepared a delicious breakfast for us in the morning (included with our booking). The hotel is calm and quiet and perfect for a relaxing getaway in wine country.

If you do not speak Spanish, the is not the property to stay at. No one there speaks any English. The spa services are only available on the weekend and must be arranged ahead of time. The restaurant is only open for dinner on the weekend or if you preorder a meal. We would have been better off exploring the Casablanca Valley as a day trip from Santiago or Valparaiso. There are many options for personalized tours from either place.

Hotel staff was good. The room had many areas of opportunity, floor was dirty and bathroom had broken tiles and was not overall cleaned. The bed was supper uncomfortable. Probably more like a motel.

The place could be really nice if just all the small issues didn’t add up. It’s beautiful and has an excellent location. They just need to provide towels, clean the windows, paint, train the staff, dust. Overall, it’s good but over time all the little things get annoying....like asking for silverware and a napkin at every meal. They have tennis rackets but no balls. It just goes on and on. No towels at the beautiful pool. Plastic lounge chairs have no cushions.

The rooms are dirty. The hotel is outdated and in need of a major renovation. In some areas the roof looks like it will collapse at any minute. Trying to eat dinner in the dining room is almost impossible. On a Saturday night we were told the dining room was closed when we came down to dinner. No explanation. Just closed. This hotel was highly disappointing.

Hotel is occupied with maintaineance works. Understaffed and unfriendly personnel. Everything takes a long time. Restaurant not prepared for a lot of people.

In general this hotel would be nice if there would be more personnel and if it would be proper maintained. Hotel looks like 20 years without maintenance.

Price is far too high for this hotel.

Avoid this place. Move on to Santiago or Valpo

Think Spanish colonial Motel 6. Not the property shown on the website. We arrived late afternoon and the pool was swamped with a tour group. Took a nap and tried again after they left but then it was closed for cleaning. Much of the property was under construction. Rooms are a bit old. We had plumbing trouble -- shower cycled hot and cold and the toilet didn't flush.

Property is not on a vineyard but is in a convenient location. That said, if I were to do over, I would just do Casablanca as a stop off in transit between Santiago and Valparaiso until the lodging options improve. At the time of my trip, research indicated this was the best option in the area.

Not Happy About Stay

While the hotel was located in a convenient location (near highway and wineries), the room was cold, not as clean as it could be, and there was a cricket making sounds all night long. The linens had stains on them and there were gnats in the room as well. When all of the town restaurants were closed (at 6pm on a Sunday), I went into the accompanying restaurant was was told, they as well weren't serving dinner and couldn't help us.

Hello this is a 3 1/2 star hotel that is more like a five star hotel. The accommodations were spacious, the grounds were beautifully manicured, the pools and hot tub were great. Finally, we had one of the best meals at this hotel restaurant. There was a great deal of attention to detail and the service was excellent. Five vineyards worth visiting we're nearby. I would recommend this hotel.

Has potential

This place is overpriced, but it is literally the only accommodation in the area (unless you're willing to pay US $500 per person to stay at a winery that is out of town). The facilities could be very lovely if they just had a little more money and staff. To put it simply, there just aren't enough people coming. We were one of only two couples there (though to be fair, they still turned the jacuzzi on for us). The staff were very accommodating, but it was hard to find someone. Breakfast is small and unexciting, but then again, food in Chile is generally less inspiring than some other South American countries. Be aware that at night time, unless you are staying Friday or Saturday night, there will be no restaurants open anywhere in the region - fast food is all that is available.

We had a wonderful time at the Hotel Casablanca - it was a lovely place and we especially enjoyed the sauna and hot tub. The host was exceptionally friendly, and they went out of their way to translate for us (many thanks to the owner's daughter) and help us find nice things to do in Casablanca. Thank you overall.

A dissapointing experience

A wonderful welcome from a very helpful manager/owner was unfortunately not followed up with equivalent quality in other aspects of the stay.
We were constantly bothered by mosquitoes in the room at night and while being given a spray before the 2nd night this seemed to do little to reduce the problem. This had clearly been the experience of others as the walls and ceiling of our room were liberally splattered with dead blood filled insect corpses. The bed mattress was smaller than the base; the sheets were so thin you could see through them; there were two rather unpleasant looking matted brown and green blankets which were also too small for the bed. The public areas, staircase, corridoors and sitting areas were dusty. Breakfast on the 1st morning OK but they had forgotten we were breakfasting the 2nd morning and we had to wait while they managed to find something for us to eat in a restaurant where there were uncleared glasses etc from the previous night.
The pool was not being cleaned regularly and had leaves and debris floating on the surface.
There was no clear pathway between the car park and the accommodation area so cases had to be carried across lawn and gravel areas rather than being rolled.
Too close to the main Santiago Valparaiso road to be free of traffic noise even with the windows shut; in hot weather it would be a choice between ventilation and noise.

Great place

This is a very nice hotel and very conveniently located off the highway. The owner will greet you and ensure that you are well cared for during your stay. It has a beautiful restaurant and wine cellar where you pick your own wine ... Mostly from the surrounding Casablanca valley wineries. Reasonably priced.

The place seems to be amazing, all related to wine and grapes including the beautiful gate which was beautiful but once you get inside you notice everything is kinda old including the tv in the room. Room was very confortable and the lady in front although a little lost with our last minute reservation (wanted to charge again but said it was ok after seeing the receipt online) was very friendly giving us supplies in the room. Breakfast was very poor.

Alto custo benefício! A suíte dizia bebidas no frigobar incluso, só tinha água e uma espumante brut p. Não tinha roupão de banho como dizia no anúncio! Hotel muito antigo e precisando de manutenção, limpeza deixa a desejar! A piscina interna é fria, em uma região fria poderia ser aquecida, o que salvou foi a jacuzzi, porém o ambiente bem sujo! Os funcionários são simpáticos! Resumindo não vale o preço que cobram! Ahhh café da manhã muito simples e sem nenhuma estrutura na volta do hotel!

Alright place but a bit off from Casablanca and you’ll need a taxi to get around. Limited offering in the restaurant, both in terms of wine and food, and the breakfast was quite poor (they ran out of eggs to serve us).

Et hotell med rustikk preg. God service og hyggelige ansatte. Store og flotte rom. Rengjøringen kunne generelt sett vært bedre i alle oppholdsrom samtidig som det bærte preg av manglende vedlikehold.
Vi fikk benytte oss av alle hotellets fasiliteter dagen etter utsjekkingen gratis.

El hotel es relativamente nuevo y tiene mucho potencial pero la piscina climatizada estaba mala.
2 de las 3 veces que pedimos el jacuzzi con anticipación, no lo prendieron. El sauna lo prendieron a tiempo pero dejaron la puerta abierta. La habitación no tiene frigobar pero conseguimos que nos pusieran uno. También me molestó que el hielo lo cobraran.
Hay desayuno pero es muy básico.
Las camas son extremadamente blandas y las 5 personas que nos quedamos en la habitación despertamos con dolor de espalda.
El baño es cómodo pero el soporte para la ducha la deja apuntando muy arriba por lo que hay que sujetar la ducha con la mano para poder bañarse.
El personal es amable pero nos llamó mucho la atención que no hubiera nadie de mayor jerarquía durante el fin de semana para resolver los problemas que tuvimos. Creo que no volveré a este hotel.

Buena instalaciones, pero falta de mantenimiento.
En general, buena atención, especialmente Isidora en recepción, pero en el desayuno, a pesar de que eran bastantes personas para atender, se dedicaban a comer y conversar en la cocina, mientras nosotros los pasajeros, debíamos retirar el film plástico que cubría la comida, entre otras cosas.

Hotel with lack of servic minded approach

Was not able to order snacks or similar to the room and pool. Took 1,2 hours to get an Pisco Sour and another 20 minutes to get the starter in the restaurant. The same the day after. We complain about it but only got excuses. Was not compensated at all. Smells strong as a stable in our 2 rooms. One room had to be change due to water problem in the toilet. Was very frustrating to approach they did not took any responsibility for what happens to us.

Después que reserve me dijeron que no había dispon

Mal! Porque hice una reserva , pagué el total por hoteles.com y luego cuando llamé me dijeron que no había disponibilidad. Me dijeron que desde el hotel que debia enviar un correo para cancelar la reserva. Envié el correo y no me cancelaron la reserva a pesar que fue un error de la página o del hotel, para mí fue una estafa
