It is cheap, but that doesn’t mean it has to be this bad. Room was cold; no extra blankets and only very thin bedding in November. No soap in the shower dispenser. No bin in the room. I’d precooked breakfast, which was not available when we turned up and consisted of a hastily cut baguette and honey or Nutella. No apology from the front desk who simply said there would normally be none of these problems but we’d arrived too late to point them out. Does the franchise name a disservice.

Budget stop on my route north.

This was an acceptable budget overnight hotel. The decor and fittings in the room were a little shabby but adequate.
I was able to enjoy a meal in the centre of Dreux before continuing my journey.

we arrived and allocated a room. the hotel appeared empty but we we put next to 2 other groups (no problem) but the room stank of smoke, decor was yellow and there were burn holes in the bed covers. Did not get a chace to change as receptionist had left for the evening. On the plus sise sheets were clean as was the loo but alas the sink had seen better days. The breakfast area was spanking clean so breakfast was adequate. Deffo not aplace to stay if you like clean fresh bedrooms. I for one wont stop there again.

There was no receptionist at 6.30 pm when it said someone is on duty 17.00 to 21.00 so had difficulty getting in.It cost more than advertised..& the fre wifi in all rooms could not be accessed after trying 3 devices.....Very disappointed with Expedia & Premiere class Dreux

Convenient hotel and location, cheap stopover on the way from Carcassonne to Calais. Comfy, clean beds, warm little room, easy check in with bank card late at night. External doors for the rooms so you don't have to go inside to a Reception and faff about. Great if, like us, you have dogs and are frequent travellers. Breakfast also cheap and as expected; hot drink machine, toast, yoghurt, cake and baguette.Be realistic - don't expect the Ritz at this price like some reviewers seem to - it's a bed for the night with a basic fibreglass bathroom unit. If you want a posh place or a holiday experience, fork out more money and go elsewhere. We will use this one again.

The hotel was very tired looking and badly in need of renovation. We have stayed in Premier Classes hotels on several occasions in the past, but this was undoubtedly the worst. The following night we stayed at Premier Classes in Orange and this hotel was a class apart.

Arrived 5pm advised receptionist we needed code for security gate as we were leaving 3am, he said it was open all the time so didn't need code, tried to leave 3pm gate locked and no one in reception, rang emergency number, answer machine and no one ever replied, ended up ringing police who forced open electric box for gate I was then able to open gate, at 4am!! Got to Dieppe port 2mins before they stopped boarding.Broke the land speed record getting there. Also room was dirty sheets stained, cig burns, slept in clothes on top of sheets. Only good comment is the police were very helpful and quick to respond.

Room 43 was disgusting
Air vent in bathroom missing exposing dirty pipes
Door to bathroom had been forced open at some time and had not been fixed
Bottom of door rotten with dampness
Dampness on inside of front wall
Towels were grey and extremely well used
Air conditioning did not work
No one at reception to complain to until the morning
When I complained they were not interested
I am a regular Premiere Classe Hotel user, but certainly will not be using Dreux again

Drivers left early. You needed coins to get a snack from a machine on arrival. No restaurant nearby. Shower was OK also the bed. Breakfast ok and staff pleasant.

Great Deal in Europe

We had been camping, but decided to get out of the rain. Dreux has little of tourist interest, but it is only 30 km from Chartres and 85 km from Paris. It is probably a third the cost of any hotel in either of those places, so the extra driving is well worthwhile. They have a machine for check in (if you have a reservation) that gives you the key card. The room is tiny, but adequate for three. Our only quibble is that the internet service stopped working for the last day due to \"technical difficulties.\"

Awful location.The hotel is clean but run down,12 cigarette burns in the bathroom.No front entrance everybody has to use the back door. No outside seating like every other Premiere class I have stayed in.Receptionist very helpful but she used the Disabled parking space for her car. Would not stop here again.

Dirty exterior, cramped dusty room, cracked sink. Asked for double with extra bed which is necessary because my husband has a back problem. I was given a child's bunk bed. It felt so grubby I didn't want to put my bags on the floor. Had booked to stay on return journey but am going to stay somewhere else and lose the money I have paid. Very poor in comparison with others in the chain.

The hotel was rundown. The security gate was broken. Big chuncks of paint-plaster were coming off the ceiling. Burn marks all over the place. Bathroom door was rotting apart. The heating-air conditionning system was out of order. The toilet would not flush. Was easily fixed by opening the tank cover. I ccan't think of anything positive to say. Our previous stay at the Bourges Première Classe was good, clean basic accomodation. World of difference between the two establishments.

Triple room had 3 single beds, one of which was a bunk. No space to open more than one bag at a time in the room. Tiny room. Build in shower/toilet/sink compartment was extremely small. Like a port-a-john with shower. Neighborhood and hotel visitors very suspicious. Did not feel safe.

hot night

The hotel had no air conditioning and the window catch was broken so we were not able to sleep with any fresh air. There is a non smoking policy at the hotel but the room smelled of smoke and the bed cover had burn marks. The sink was very old and cracked around the plug hole with standing water. Apart from this the breakfast was lovely, the staff helpful and for the price we played we shouldn't complain.

Budget place to lay your head - that's all

The Premiere Classe chain of hotels do exactly what they say on the tin. They are a low cost option to break up a long drive to or from the south of France. It's difficult to find anywhere that will cater for a family of six on a budget, so their option of three single beds works for us perfectly, with one adult accompanying two of our four children each.

The breakfast is a good value all-you-can-eat continental affair, with plenty of choice.

All in all, a good option for a money saving overnighter, that we have taken for the past three years with no real problems (if you don't mind the most basic of amenities - it's only for a night after all!)

Stayed here a few times usually on my trips south, cheep and cheerful, but a ride into town now campanile closed is a neg, local food would be good but then again gives you the chance to discover that French restaurant you never would have known about, we did and it was well worth the ride.
At the price just for the bed it’s worth it.

Much better than sleeping in the car!

If you're looking for flunkies to attend your every need plus gold-plated taps then this isn't your place. If all that you want is somewhere clean to lay your head for the night plus a toilet and shower then it does just fine. The staff were cheerful and friendly, the room was clean enough if a little worn around the edges, the shower worked. Slight shame that there wasn't any soap provided but for the money, 23 UKP in my case, it's hard to complain. Breakfast was simple but OK for the money. Shame that there doesn't seem to be any restaurants nearby, although there is apparently a discount deal with the Campanile just up the road which I didn't try.
I'd go again.

Cheap but Far Too Small

The room was tiny, especially the en-suite. No carpet on the floor. Okay for a lone traveller but not for a family of 3, even for a single night stopover.
It was a roof over our head and the room was clean but it was a struggle to move around the bed as there was no floor space, no bedside table or anywhere to put anything. The bunk bed was too close to the ceiling so my daughter couldn't sit up without banging her head.
Dreux is not a good place to stay - there are very few restaurants and the place seems closed at night. We did finally find a very good restaurant but it was one of very very few.
On a positive note, the breakfast was cheap but perfectly enjoyable continental stye.

Ok for the price. Tried to charge us for the kids breakfasts. No restaurants nearby. Had to drive for dinner. Family split over two rooms which was of course booked but over two floors and opposite ends of the hotel! Not helpful with three young children and only space for one overnight bag.

Le service impeccable, on àété très bien accueilli, la dame à l'acceuil sympathique et serviable, les consignes ont bien été donné tout va bien, le menage dans la chambre rien a dire, par contre l'etat des douches un peu vieux, pas de rideau de douche, l'abbattant de toilette cassé, une seul prise mural dans la chambre (pas vraiment pratique lorsqu’on est deux ou personne), rien de bien méchant mais des petits points à revoir. Autrement on n'y ait bien.

Il se trouve que ma chambre n'a certainement pas dû être faite car à mon arrivée, les poubelles pas vider, le lit pas fait, les toilettes sales et serviettes pas changées.

Je trouve pas ça correcte de louer une chambre non préparée. On paie un service c'est tout de même pour quelque chose.

Lors de mon arrivée, il y avait déjà deux clients qui attendaient pour se plaindre ! Nous avons été reçus dans la laverie, l’accueil n’était pas accessible. La première chambre ne disposait pas d’eau chaude et présentait des draps sales. La seconde chambre disposait d’un chauffage H.S.
Pour la seconde nuit que j’avais réservée, l’hôtel n’avait tout simplement pas de chambre disponible pour moi. Je me suis retrouvée à chercher où dormir à 19h. Obligée de réserver une chambre au Campanile en dernière minute. Le gérant me propose de me rembourser une nuit que je n’ai pas utilisée (décalage dès mon planning pro) mais à aujourd’hui cette nuit n’a aucunement été remboursée.
Fuyez ! La pire expérience hôtelière jamais vécue par mes soins !

Extrêmement déçus de notre nuit. Tout d'abord, l'adresse communiquée était erronée, j'imagine que c'est parce qu'une voie ferrée passe juste derrière le parking de l'hôtel.
Quant à l'établissement, il était plutôt vétuste (porte de salle d'eau qui ne ferme pas, bas de porte rongé par l'excès d'humidité, distributeur de savon liquide cassé).

Des première classe, j'en fais pas mal, j'étais même déjà venu dans celui ci, bien que vieillot, la chambre précédente était normale pour un première classe, mais alors cette fois, ça a été la pire chambre que je n'ai jamais connu dans un hôtel ! porte de salle de bain qui ne ferme pas, dont le bas est dans un était lamentable bouffé et éclater par la moisissure, de la moisissure de partout, le ménage loin d'être fait sous le lit, la taie d'oreiller marron, des traces blanche très suspecte sur le dessus de la couverture... tellement délabré que j'ai faillit dormir dans ma voiture, tellement pas sereine que je me suis bloqué le cou ! Je n'y reviendrais pas.

A l'arrivé, après environ 30 minutes d'attende la queue de 3 personnes l’hôtesse m'a donné une chambre N° 18 première étage sans explication, sans sourie.
La chambre est assez propre, la porte d'entrée est difficile pour fermer. La porte de la salle d'eau est déformé impossible fermé ...

Établissement vieillissant. Bas de la Porte douche noir. Robineterie HS. flaque d eau à l entrée salle de bains. Sinon bon accueil même pour avoir la chambre à 14 h

J’aI aimé l’accueil de l’agent, agréable et souriant
Ma chambre n’a pas été nettoyée sur 2 jours location pas de nouvelles serviettes pas de balai wc aux toilettes
Malgré la problème de manque de personnel dans l’ensemble c’ Bien
