This hotel is in a terrible area. They were holding a private event and the music was so loud the entire block was vibrating. They could not accommodate parking for my Tahoe. One garage required an elevator and the other fills up at night. On street parking did not appear to be easy. We did not end up staying. We talked to the front desk and they allowed us to leave and have us a full refund with no problem. Staff at front desk was very friendly and nice.

The hotel itself was nice. The staff was very nice and helpful. The rooms were small and comfortable and so were the beds. They room was clean but could have used some updates and repairs. We had two main issues with our stay. The first was parking. The website states on-site parking which is definitely not the case. There is a public garage next to the property but was completely full with residents of the area that pay monthly and the staff there was rude. We had to drive several blocks to find an open lot as there was not any street parking and most streets people were double parked. Our other issue is that Saturday night there was an extremely large promotional party that we had no idea was happening. No notice was given to me when booking or when we arrived. There were so many people you could not even get into the lobby or from the lobby to the bar across from it. The party went until 11 pm and was extremely loud. After the event ended we were startled awake by ambulance and police sirens out front of the hotel. This wasn't just 1 or 2 cops this was dozens of police officers, multiple ambulance and a fire truck. I would like to give a better review as the hotel itself was very nice but the parking was a nightmare and should be stated correctly on the website so people know before booking. They should also tell people about large events like this as we would have chosen somewhere else to stay had we known.

Hotel staff was friendly and proficient. Room was clean, modern, and very small. Refrigerator holds 3 water bottles. On 2nd floor, noise from events in atrium bar shook windows and headboard, continued to 3 a.m., when parties moved inside to rooms. At @ 5 a.m. Journey was blasted, maybe a Zoomba class? 4 nights there impossible to sleep. If you're looking for a party hotel, this is it. Better than sleeping under a bridge.

Excellent hotel at an awesome price! The Radio Hotel is not a downtown hotel but it has awesome energy and charm from its local neighborhood. Great dinner, cute café, and it even offered a special viewing of the Knicks game 2 championship game in the outdoor patio. Definitely coming back!!

I would not recommend staying here.
From the moment we arrived, the experience was disappointing. Check-in took an unusually long time, and to make matters worse, there was a fee for checking out early.
The room itself was extremely poor quality. The shower door would not close properly, and the bathroom door wouldn't stay shut either. I actually had to use the small trash can to keep it from swinging open. There were no bath rugs, no iron provided, and the windows were visibly dirty. We also noticed small gnats in the room throughout our stay.
The hallways were dimly lit to the point that they felt creepy and unwelcoming. The towels were rough and uncomfortable, and the toilet paper was some of the roughest I've ever encountered in a hotel.
If you're considering booking the Studio Queen room, don't. It felt more like a prison cell than a hotel room. Overall, the accommodations did not match the price at all.
This stay was not worth the money, and I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Don't be fooled by the photos or advertising—there are much better options available for the same price.

Nice staff, lots of restaurants nearby, very comfortable bed and clean room. It was a bit noisy from traffic outside at times, but we still slept pretty good. I wish there were at least free coffee in rooms, but we were given free drink coupons which was nice and we appreciated that. Also wish there was complimentary breakfast and shuttle service to the airport, but we knew what we were getting before we booked the room and there was a specific location we needed to be close to, so the Radio Hotel worked out great. Thank you!

I stayed at Radio Hotel for 3 nights. I arrived early and was able to get an early check-in for a $45 fee, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the first two rooms I was given were not properly cleaned, but a supervisor quickly stepped in and moved me to a great room.

Aside from that rough start, the staff was friendly and professional throughout my stay. The breakfast was good, and the daily drink vouchers were a nice perk for coffee, cocktails, and other beverages. Overall, a good experience with clean facilities, great service, and decent food and drinks

Very nice hotel, excellent staff and restaurant/bar. There was also a DJ playing music in the bar. Food was very good. After saying all of that there were two problems: first, the hotel has no parking on site but there is a private firm offering parking on 181st street and 180th street, I paid $32 for one night. Second, the shower was broken. I would stay again but would also verify that the shower is functional.

Horrible location in Washington Heights with latín music screaming out of every apartment and in the lobby a band playing Latin music as loud as possible, as well. I would not feel safe walking around there either. I suffer from seizures and told them that I would probably have one with that noise and needed a refund. Even though I reserved through Expedia they went against the policy and gave me a refund so that I could leave. Very grateful!

After checking in that evening I discovered that the elevator I was using was malfunctioning because it took me to a different floor from the floor I was supposed to get off.
Later that evening, I tried to go downstairs and the elevator I was in, got stuck on a floor above mine, door wouldn't open , no movement-JUST FROZEN. After 8-10 minutee elevator started to move going downstairs and eventually I got off on the main floor.

I complained to make staffer behind front desk.

Nicer hotel for the area…staff very helpful and provided great customer service.
The gym and restaurant on site were convenient and easy to utilize and the restaurant atmosphere was nice and service great.
As most NYC Hotels, the rooms, even the larger Studio Suite, are not large.
However, the room was clean, uncluttered and included a safe and lil fridge.

Parking….if ya bring a car, you gotta park in one of the 2 parking garages in the block the hotel is in.
1 gets busy and on a Friday night it maybe full.
The 2nd one was available, until the elevator broke….only addressing this as the amenities Valet Parking…which there isn’t.

Would definitely stay here again if I needed an Uptown hotel.

Stayed here for work for a week. Their restaurant and bar is amazing. You get 2 free drink vouchers a day it was nice going to the bar after a long day of work and having a night cap. There was no hot water for 2 days which was really inconvenient. They gave us 25% off my room because of this.

I’ve stayed at this property before and had a great experience, which is why I chose to return. Unfortunately, this stay was very disappointing. At check-in, we were charged an unexpected $25 daily amenity fee that was not clearly explained.

The room itself was not up to standard—the AC was not working, and the refrigerator was broken and overheating. This was especially concerning because my husband is diabetic and requires refrigeration for his medication. We contacted the front desk multiple times, and although maintenance came, they were unable to fix the issues. We were only provided a fan, and the refrigerator had to be unplugged.

We were told the hotel was fully booked and could not move us unless we paid extra, which did not feel reasonable given the circumstances. Overall, the lack of proper room conditions and resolution made our stay very uncomfortable and we were unable to sleep well.

I would recommend confirming room conditions and any additional fees before booking

Unfortunately I can not leave a positive review since we did not have hot water and had no choice but to take cold showers. I had to check out early due to this and since my wife was having heart surgery at Columbia which why we reserved Radio. I can say the room and overall facility presents well. However there are little furnishing and not too many places for a suitcase/belongings. The mattresses are a little too soft. Overall for the amenities that are offered, it is a bit overpriced.

The reason why I rated this low is there was loud music playing until 3am due to some party. I had my daughter 15 and myself and we had to get up at 5:30 am for her Nike indoor track race at the armory. Why would a hotel allow a party with loud music until 3 am ??? Shameful and harmful . I can understand having a party but a hotel should stop music at a reasonable hour 11 pm or 12 am latest but 3 am?!!’ So we did not sleep . Also 27$ amenity fee for what? Not clear. No parking and no free breakfast so not clear what we were paying this fee for? All hotels have WiFi - that can’t be reason. so anyways charged 400$ for our 1 room for 1 night and not allowed to sleep due to loud noise and pretty much nothing else - had to pay for parking at another facility and get breakfast - but overall a hotel that allows loud music until 3 am and interrupting or not allowing sleep is not a hotel.

The staff was incredibly kind- we got a room upgrade because of an electrical issue in our original room and the staff was wonderful and nice. Coffee bar was amazing- it was our favorite coffee place we went to the whole weekend. For people visiting the Armory- this location is extremely walkable and quiet.

No closet, mini fridge doesn't hold 3 20oz bottles, no microwave, not even free coffee ($4.00 per cup) and the ice machine is at the front desk. But they do have a resort fee and a $75 deposit on top of the reservation price. Never again!
