The staff was always helpful and so friendly. We loved the breakfast each morning and the ease of using the downstairs ski shop to get outfitted for the slopes each morning. The bar was the perfect place to meet up with friends for a cocktail after a day of skiing. 10/10 would recommend and hope to visit again soon! Thanks Experiemental.

Entire hotel smells horrible. I accidentally broke a ski pole and the staff got mad at me shaking their heads. Was an accident and I had paid for insurance. Good luck getting coffee in the morning - they quickly run out and took 20-30 minutes after we ordered more. Also, your room is cleaned by 6pm every day. So sometimes you'll come back from skiing and nothing has been done. Will not be returning.

The hotel staff were exceptional. very friendly and kind and will go to any length to please you. From the front desk to the dining area and ski rental area, all great people with great customer service. Berangere at the front desk was super kind and professional and did everything to make my stay as comfortable as possible. I was very impressed by all their staff. Very close to the slopes, ski in and ski out. Great location, close to everything. Higlly recommend it.

Had a really fabulous stay at L'Aigle des Neiges! Great hotel in a fantastic location. Unfortunately I broke my ankle skiing and the staff couldn't have been more attentive and helpful - it definitely made an awful situation better! Special thanks to the bar/restaurant staff who made it possible for me to make it downstairs on my last night and to the hotel van driver who picked me up from the medical centre. The hotel also accommodated a late check out which was really appreciated. We will definitely be returning next year!

Stayed there for 5 nights while skiing in Val. The hotel is in excellent condition, very light and airy in the public areas, good service all around with friendly, chatty and very engaging staff. The bedrooms are spacious and light. Good shower pressure! The food is very good for both breakfast and dinner. Loved the pool. Only criticism is the pillows in the rooms need to be softer and larger. I found them uncomfortable after a day skiing. I haven't enjoyed a hotel stay this much for a long time and i do stay in hotels a lot.

Minor comment: the snack service closes at 7 pm at bar and they should be serving a bit later or the kids.. and bigger variety of light snacks for those who are not too hungry.

The hotel is tight in the centre of town and minutes from the piste and Olympique and Solaise lifts. The staff are so helpful and booked all of our restaurants as well as recommending some new ones to us that were amazing.

The breakfast is divine. So much choice and fresh waffles and pancakes every day.

At turndown you get sweet treats on your pillow.

It’s the perfect ski in ski out hotel!

Incredible hotel. The staff is so friendly and wish to make your stay as lovely as possible. They are so thoughtful- the front desk called to see if I wanted dinner delivered to my room upon arrival. The hotel has a private driver to take you around if needed, their is a ski/ snowboard shop in the basement if you need rentals.. the staff there is also very friendly , quick and efficient. You’re only a 2 minute walk to the mountains. The sauna and pool are great. Breakfast is very fresh and incredible food. Overall- I had an amazing stay and look forward to my next stay!!

One of the best locations in Val d’Isere

Our second stay in this hotel and it didnt disappoint: where the hotel now lacks in somewhat tired decor and facilities, it’s more than made up by it excellent staff! Where else do you find a 4* hotel with a dedicated driver whisking you through a blizzard to your dinner restaurant (booked by the front office) in a very comfortable BMW 4x4? Or the front desk phoning a few days in advance of arrival to make sure you are not left without dinner on NYE? I am yet to find another 4* hotel like this in Europe.

We spent 4 nights at L'Aigle des Neiges recently. It is in a great location easy to get to the slopes and to shops, bars and restaurants. The reception staff were excellent as were the guys in the ski shop in the basement. Our rooms were fine - not huge but that's pretty normal for ski resorts. Enjoyed the pierrade restaurant on our first evening.

We only stayed at this hotel for one night as we were sharing a week in a chalet with friends and had a one night overlap - but I was wishing we were staying for longer!

Met at the front desk by a charming chap who got us checked in quickly and efficiently and showed us up to our rooms, and showing us where to go for breakfast in the morning.

The room was fairly small but very well laid out as was the bathroom, which was spotlessly clean. The bed was very comfy too.

The breakfast was good, they are obviously an international hotel and not so hot on the cooked breakfast, but that was absolutely fine. There was a large array of food to choose from. Staff were efficient, friendly and courteous. Sadly we didn't have time to visit the pool so can't comment on it.

All in all I'd definitely go back and would highly recommend to anyone.

Very enjoyable stay. Very friendly, helpful and courteous staff, nothing too much trouble. Special mention to the valet park guys who helped with bags, then parked my car in the underground car park and then took me there to pick it up again at the end of my stay, all without charge - excellent service. I'd also like to say a big \"merci beaucoup\" to the guys in the basement ski rental and ski storage, they were also very friendly and incredibly efficient. Despite the restaurant breakfast service being busy the lady Maitre d' welcomed us every morning with a big smile and humoured me as I attempted my schoolboy French! Excellent breakfast buffet with a wide selection of freshly prepared food.

This hotel was absolutely perfect for our stay. Very close to Front de Neige, the boot room and the staff there are great. The spa was lovely, as was breakfast. Our only fault was perhaps that Breakfast wasn't varied enough for people staying at the hotel a long time. I would definitely recommend this place.

The hotel is situated in a perfect place for both skiing and for access to the town.

It was my second visit to this hotel which in the interim had upgraded its communal facilities. I like the hotel very much. The breakfasts were excellent the staff really friendly and respectful the room very spacious and airy ( I was alone in a superior room) the ski room and staff very efficient. I did not try one of their restaurants as I was only there for a few nights and had friends to see. We normally stay in a chalet for our annual two week family visit to Val d'Isere but I when I choose to ski for a few days again, I will stay at the L'Aigle de Neiges , and recommend it to my friends.

perfect staff, very hospitable and nice . beautiful mix of modern, alpine , and french esthetic. Our room , apparently one of the last was very small, but it seems others were larger.

one drawback was no gym, but ski shop downstairs was excellent. Spa nice but a bit small for the christmas crowd.

Perfect hotel for a skiing holiday

Excellent hotel, we enjoyed every moment of our stay at L'Aigle des Neiges hotel. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and warm. Breakfast room is great, nice variety and choice and you can order eggs of your choice from the chef if you don't feel like the scrambled option. The hotel is modern with a cosy feeling inside. Lovely to walk into after a great day out skiing. The location is perfect with the back of the hotel near the meeting point for ski schools. There is also a ski shop downstairs with very friendly staff ready to assist with your skiing equipment. We had a great experience at this hotel and will definitely return in the future.

It is hard to fault this hotel, especially for a long weekend skiing where you need to minimise 'pfaff'. The rooms are not 'amazing' for the price, but they are good, and bathroom well kitted out. All of the hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Our group had a few requests for recommendations, help with printing/emailing work stuff, solving of travel issues and the staff were flawless in their help.

Crucially, the pre-ski buffet breakfasts were excellent, and the ability to hire (and leave) skis/boots one floor down, buy lift passes from reception and walk ~200 metres from there to clipping your skis on/off is ideal, as is location right in the heart of Val d'Isere.

The spa area is a nice bonus to have (steam, spa, small-but-good pool) post ski

Some may not like the modern decor, but we thought it was well done,
