After4 attempts by phone over 3 hours on the day of scheduled arrival to confirm their checkin time, I was told that the hotel is closed and still under remodeling and would not be open for at least another 2 months. When I asked for $ back, I was told I had to ask Expedia. I contacted Expedia and they said they had to call the property to verify my claim, the holes claimed that they were omen and that I just needed to call the other checkin desk. This was a total lie, I stayed down the street at a Hilton (no issues) but I drove by the blue way in and it was definitely closed. The

They wouldn't let you have more than 2 towels. They required daily house keeping whether you wanted it or not. The sign for the building wasn't even the name for the motel so it was hard to find. The pets I saw there were chickens. Where it was located and the look of the building didn't make me feel safe staying there.

Pictures appear much nicer than actual property. Office had a bad odor as we checked in and found the rooms were also horribly smelling. No fans in bathroom and looks like dispensers were ripped completely out of the wall. Rooms are run down with ceiling and wall paint chipping. Door very hard to secure. Toilet and shower were old stained. More like a Room for hourly rent...if you know what i mean. Terribly disappointed in expedia for even allowing them on their web site. Not worth the money spent and DO NOT recommend.

The room wasnt the cleanest. I had to scrub the bathtub with bleach twice before taking a bath. The bottom of the tub was very dirty. I left to go to the store and came back and my room door was wide open 1 employee was inside and the other standing in doorway (one was the maid that took out trash and gave clean towels) 1 employee started saying loudly that we had been smoking in room told him we hadnt he sais it smells like smoking in there. Told him yes it cause of our belongings in the room. Point is they both didnt need to be in there, dont know why they was still there maid was already done with what she was doing. So not real sure how to feel about it.

The property had no signage which made it feel a little sketchy. The address given came up as invalid on Google Maps. We stopped at the local Casey’s to inquire where the motel was & they didn’t know that the motel existed, as the address was a Steakhouse that had been closed down and the motel was located on the back side. It did say ‘Motel Office’ but that also looked old. Clean & beds were comfortable no coffee.

The place was quiet. Parking lot in need of repair. Office inner doors were changed and had to wait for someone to let me in to get key. Room was clean. No hangar. No hair dryer. Thin towels and one had a hole in it. Shower curtain was moldy. A little TLC and it would have been a nice stay!

The room was re-done & new looking. Theres a microwave & frig in the rooms! That was good! Beds pretty good. The people at the front desk, (owners?) Didnt speak very good english... the outside of the property is run down and looks terrible. It smells aweful around the property also. We only got 2 towel sets for 3 people. Our tub was cracked so we put duct tape to block over the holes. The \"deposit\" wasnt released for 4 days from our bank. I had to call 3 days after we left to inquire about it. Very frustrating. Dont think we will stay there again.

This is an older small motel. While the room was clean, the place could use some TLC. The towels were old and grey. There is no ice machine or drink machine. The internet was weak. BUT, the price makes all of that acceptable. Because you get what you pay for. Would I stay there again, absolutely.

Went to check in the inside door had a bicycle padlock on the door. I had to ring thr doorbell multiple times before anyone came out. There wasn’t any kleenex, no coffee maker, no clock and the bathtub faucet ran all night. The photos are deceiving.

The property looks very outdated and sketchy at first, once you get past that and get a room it is a pleasant surprise. The rooms are updated, remodeled, very clean and served its purpose. I had hoped for a coffee maker but there was not one, the only issue Iwas the bathroom tub, it looked like had been repaired numerous times, I couldn't tell what was \"repair\" and what might have been clean. The front desk people were not very helpful either.

Sad… definitely a no frills motel

They insisted on a $50 hold for my service dog, they had no coffee, little towels. The bathmat was on the floor in front of the toilet, the wash clothes were just grungy, one little bottle of shampoo & the bars of soap were old & stinky, one roll of cheap toilet paper, internet was very poor, tv channels kept going out & they were very limited. I couldn’t hardly understand the owners. Bed was uncomfortable! No shelves in the refrigerator, no clock, toilet was so low that you couldn’t hardly get on & off it & couldn’t shut the door unless you turned sideways on the toilet, shower curtain was grungy, tub had black long hair on it & the bottom of the toilet was filthy!

We had 2 rooms. There were spiders in my grandsons bed. There were holes in the bathtub. The dead bolt in my room didn’t work and there was a snake in our room that came in under the big gap under the door. Lady at the front desk didn’t ask how I was paying for the room and charged my card when I was paying in cash. Now there is a hold on my card that isn’t refunded 2 days later.

The room was well below any standard we can think of. The room was clean. Otherwise we cannot recommend this room. The web promised some sort of reception but nothing was offered. When we sat on the bed it sounded as if we were sitting on a noisy metal trash can! There was no kleenex. The bathroom stool top paint was worn off. It took quite a time for warm water to reach the shower. Furniture looks like something from a used furniture store. One bottle of shampoo. No conditioner.
At least the temperature control worked fine. The price was more than most motels providing breakfast.

I stayed here while visiting my daughter. Upon arrival we were told there was an issue with the water and that it would be fixed within an hour of check-in. The next morning the water was still not working correctly so we tried contacting the office with no return call. We stayed here for two days with a toilet that wouldn't flush correctly and no hot water. We made multiple attempts to contact the management about our issues before check-out with either no response or no way to enter the office building to speak face to face due to the doors being locked. Upon check-out the issues were brought up again just to try and make management aware. I was yelled at and told these issues were \"my own problem\" and to make a complaint through hotels.com. I tried to do that but hotels.com has to contact the office and verify my complaint with management which they denied. All in all this is a terribly run business. 0/10 recommend.

DO NOT STAY HERE - when we arrived at approx 10:45pm the outside looked like an abandoned building, no lighted sign, deserted parking lot, run down, and the office doors (when we found them) were cabled shut even though the sign said the lobby was open to 11pm - it said to ring the bell but it made no noise and took long enough for the guy to show up that we drove off once thinking we had to be wrong about this being the place but, we weren’t so we tried again, we were just loading back into the vehicle again when he poked his head out, I had to point at the door and shrug for him to come unlock it and let us in - we should have just eaten the 70 bucks and left. There’s some sort of horrid smell outside, and the lobby smelled so odd that I asked if the rooms smelled and if we could see our room before we paid - he refused, we were exhausted so decided to risk it but I told him the room had better look as the pictures online or I’ll be demanding our money back. I was being uncharacteristically rude but, this place is a complete disappointment. We just needed a stop on our trip, for a few hours sleep but, I’ll never ever go with a cheap hotel again, it’s not worth the risk. The room does look like the pictures at first glance but, closer inspection finds holes in the wall and lots of hair around the baseboards plus several other minor run down looking things. The beds appear clean and bedbug free, and the room smells clean, so we stayed but, would NEVER stay here again.

The hotel room looked nothing like the picture. The paint was peeling in our room, and it smelled like mold. There was water damage under the air conditioner and our windows were cracked. I didn’t even want to let our kids down. The guy at the service desk wasn’t super helpful. We got charged an extra accident fee for leaving early on top of the room fee.

When we first pulled in, the property looked totally abandoned and the property next to it was boarded up and one of the front windows was boarded up. The man who checked us in was nice enough and the room was clean, so I guess that's all we needed that night. The entire property just looked abandoned from the outside. We felt like we were walking into the Twilight zone. But the room was clean and it smelled good.

I stayed at this motel a year ago on the other side of the building and it was OK. This time I discovered that there was no toilet paper holder, no extra toilet paper, no hangers for clothes, a light in the bathroom that would go on and off at Will, a chirping smoke detector that kept me awake until I unplugged everything, and paint peeled off many of the walls.

On top of that, the bed was firm in the middle and soft on the sides, creating a lumpy uncomfortable nights sleep.

If I could at all, avoid it, I would not stay here again.

The smell when stepped out of car was revolting. Sign at check in desk “No Refunds” should have been a clue! Had a small room attached to main room. It had a sofa and lamps and the only closet (no hangers). Not sure what room was for. There was no coffee pot and no cups to rinse mouth after brushing teeth! Bed was awful. Thin and metal frame springs could be felt. Paid 101.00 for a miserable night. Old, dated and not worth half what was charged. Never again!

Arrived 6pm to check in. The sign said open but the lobby was dark and locked. When i pulled on the door, i could see it had a long cable lock wrapped many times through the handles. Eventually, someone can out and opened the door. They were not friendly and barely spoke to me.
It looks like someone bought a defunct motel, threw some paint around and put down cheap flooring. The sheet came off and the mattress looked ancient and dirty which might explain the room smell. The shower floor was nasty and filthy. Most lights didn't work and stuff like like it came from garage sales.
The exterior of the building has obvious wood rot.
Not a place I'd stay at again.

The other reviews about the sketchy area, nearby packing company, abandoned appearance, lack of amenities and dated furnishings are accurate. No breakfast was offered.

However, room was clean and fresh, renovated and comfortable. It was a good value and we would stay again.

This property gives off slasher movie vibes when you pull up. We honestly thought it was closed and abandoned. My husband wanted to find a different place for the night! Luckily we had talked with a local person that assured us it was open and that the new owners had been renovating the property. The man at the desk was friendly and welcoming. While the outside would send most people running away, the room was definitely newly renovated, clean and comfortable. I would stay here again, hopefully by then they will have gotten around to fixing up the outside as well.

We cancelled this stay due to the condition and appearances around the property which were run down and scratchy. The lobby was clean and the mangers tried to check us in but after 8-10 minutes we asked for a refund. We were tired and feeling that our vehicle might be unsafe there overnight.

Although the outside of the hotel looks a little run down, and fixtures were not new, the room was nice and large, and everything was very clean. There was plentiful hot water in the shower. It was a nice quiet place to stay and the owners were happy to help. We will definetly stay here again. Also, there is a wonderful 50's style diner across the street where you can get a wonderful breakfast.

For more towels we're told we couldn't have any more towels until after 10:00 and then I seen the gentleman outside and he wouldn't give me more towels because he said we can only have two towels a day told my told me my husband couldn't sit outside and they're wheelchair because it was an inside chair and I gave him almost $300 to stay there. False advertisement on the website says they have coffee pot says they have room services they have phones 24-hour service all that didn't have any of it.

Horrible we didn’t stay.

When we got to the hotel, it was dark, there was only one car in the parking lot and it smelled so bad outside. I went in the lobby and the main door was padlocked shut so I called and they said they would come right away. Once they came he asked me for my id and had me give it to him through the crack of the door. Then he came back and gave me my card back & key through the crack in the door. We drove around back to our room where we were greeted by a pile of old dirty mattresses. The windows in the room had bars on them and the door appeared to be broke into several times. The place was very dingy, had dead bugs everywhere, the beds were stained & the smoke detector appeared to have been ripped out of the wall. In the bathroom you had to stand in the shower to get the door closed. I wouldn’t stay here if someone paid me definitely don’t take your family here.

Check in was smooth even though it was very late. Gentleman at check-in was kind even though it was the middle of the night. Place a quiet. The room has been remodeled (hard floor) and was clean. Beds were comfortable although pillow options seemed a bit firm. Water was hot. Few amenities, simple, but very functional.

Only down side was the heater was blasting full at 80 degrees when we got in and the room and all items in it were very warm which took a long time to cool down in the middle of the night. Not sure why the heater was on in June.

For one it didn’t even look like the pillows or sheets were changed as there were someone else’s hairs all over them. And they didn’t appear to be head hair. Which kept me up all night. At one point it felt like I got but on my leg by something but I couldn’t find anything. Secondly there was no wifi, no papers with tv instructions or town papers like you’d normally see at a hotel. They said there was wifi and their was absolutely none one could connect to. And they said there would be breakfast and they did not have any. Overall super disappointed. I had accidentally booked here 35 mins past my destination and I was already unhappy, I kept the booking and I should’ve just changed it! Gotten something better elsewhere.
