This place was absolutely amazing. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Our server Maria (with the long braid!) was spectacular. The amenities were endless. We booked the Manuel Antonio national park walking tour through the hotel and it was awesome. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and made it fun for the kids. This was our favorite location in Costa Rica. I hope to make it back one day.

The staff in the restaurant are kind, lovely, and refreshing based on everything else. The pool is quite small and nothing special. The food is not authentic, but the pastry chef is excellent. The rest of the staff in the lobby and reception are useless. I asked for help multiple times and they really did not have an answer for me. I asked for a taxi with air-conditioning to drive three hours to San Jose and they said of course, but the next morning, while taking the taxi, it was quite clear to me that the windows will be down and no AC. Unfortunately this is not a five star resort there are no amenities. The animals in the property are lovely and that is very special but water bottles cost $6 a piece and $7 if its a gatorade. $20-50 a plate. Self-service coin laundry around $15 a load for wash and dry. Cost less to visit Las Vegas or Miami and spend a week in the four-star hotel. I am disappointed with this hotel choice.

Our stay at Parador Nature Resort & Spa was absolutely incredible. From the moment we checked in until the day we left, everything was seamless and welcoming.

One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing wildlife. We encountered so many animals throughout the property and were able to observe them up close. The white-faced monkeys were especially memorable—one adventurous monkey even managed to break into our room! It definitely gave us a story we’ll be talking about for years and made our Costa Rica experience even more unforgettable.

The food and drinks were outstanding, and the restaurants offered breathtaking views that made every meal memorable. The resort is also conveniently located near beautiful beaches, and the complimentary shuttle service made getting there easy and stress-free.

Parador combines exceptional service, stunning scenery, incredible wildlife, and a true Costa Rican experience. We loved every moment of our stay and will definitely be back!

Our stay at Parador Resort & Spa in Manuel Antonio was absolutely unforgettable! The property is stunning, with breathtaking ocean views and beautifully maintained tropical gardens filled with wildlife. We were able to see monkeys, colorful birds, and even sloths right from the resort.

The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, and the pools were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. The restaurants served delicious food with amazing views, and the shuttle service to the beach and Manuel Antonio National Park was very convenient.

If you’re looking for a place that combines luxury, nature, and authentic Costa Rican hospitality, this is it. We made memories that will last a lifetime and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Manuel Antonio!

Complimentary shuttle to Manuel Antonio and beach front sister property made the trip exceptional. Short walk/hike to beautiful Biesanz Beach (postcard perfect). Short drive/cab to all the local restaurants with views in Manuel. Awesome rec room with pool table, foosball, ping pong and video games. Even had gelato stand in the main dining room. A seriously awesome stay!! Only drawback--meals a bit pricey.

From taxis to food to general questions they were always willing to help and smiling. So kind and great customer service. The hotel was amazing. We went to the national park and it was great but candidly saw so many more animals up close on hotel property - from monkeys, to sloths, to birds - we saw amazing wildlife up close and personal. the pool and amenities were great, the kids had a great time in the game room and the food was great. everything we ate there was fabulous. I wish they did have one more option for food as there arent as many places to dine there but the food was good. Would go there again and again. Had a wonderful time!

The resort offers beautiful ocean views, several pool options, and great trails for exploring nature, where you may see monkeys and other beautiful sights. Overall, I had a great experience at the hotel. The only downside was a strange musty or mold-like smell in my room, which was a bit off-putting despite the room being very clean. A friend of mine had a similar issue in his room, and the hotel promptly moved him to another room, which he appreciated. While it did not ruin my stay, it may be something the hotel should look into, as other guests may be more sensitive to it.

We loved our experience at the Parador! We were there for 8 days with our family of 6 and another family of 3. Food and drinks could have been a bit cheaper for the times we just wanted to grab a quick bite and drink around the pool. With so many people it adds up quickly. Everything else was excellent! Staff, rooms, cleanliness. The nature and wildlife is amazing, how green and beautiful everything is can't be beat!

This is a 5 star resort with 5 star staff that work there. The only thing negative is the fact that it’s a bit isolated so it’s not easy to walk into the “town” of Manuel Antonio. They have overcome most of that with scheduled shuttle vans to the public beaches. And the drivers are very kind and accommodating regarding the drop off locations and time frames. The food for breakfast was exceptional as was the food at the restaurants on site. Well done!

Overall, the property was beautiful, clean, and well maintained. The wildlife was a highlight of the stay. We saw monkeys, a sloth, lizards and many different types of birds, which made the experience feel especially unique. The hotel itself was peaceful and never felt overly crowded, which was a major plus.

The main drawback was the service, which was consistently slow throughout the stay. From check-in to being seated and served at lunch and dinner, there were noticeable delays. At the wet bar, I waited about 15 minutes before the bartender was able to take my order. It did not seem to be a reflection of the staff themselves, but rather that the property appeared understaffed, especially at the restaurants and bars. Checkout was similar, with only one person at the front desk managing both phone calls and guest departures.

The food and drinks were very good and clearly well prepared, though they felt overpriced given the level of service. Overall, the property itself was lovely and the setting was memorable, but the staffing and service experience did not quite match the price point.

Note: If you plan to drive, be extremely careful as there were a lot of cars parked on the side of the road by beach goers, making it narrow and dangerous with oncoming vehicles.

Really enjoyed our family stay at this beautiful resort amongst Manuel Antonio's famous wildlife. We spotted monkeys, iguanas, sloths and many colourful birds right from the grounds, which the kids absolutely loved.

Lots to keep a family of five happy. The multiple pools were large and clean, breakfast was amazing, and the free shuttle to Manuel Antonio town and the beach made getting around really easy. Staff were lovely throughout, rooms were comfortable and cool (a must in the April weather!), and it was always nice to come back to the resort after a busy (and hot) day out exploring.

Highly recommend a stay at this unforgettable spot!

Parador Nature Resort in Costa Rica exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with refreshing juice and seamless check-in service. The spacious rooms, stellar service, and willingness to accommodate any request set the tone for an exceptional stay. The property itself is expansive and beautiful, featuring multiple pools with stunning ocean views—my son particularly loved the pool overlooking the water. We spotted capuchin monkeys and sloths throughout the grounds, with a massive mango tree becoming an unexpected highlight. The resort offers excellent recreational activities, including mini golf, table tennis, and pool in their game room. The dining was exceptional, with genuinely impressive vegetarian options at breakfast, lunch, and dinner—something rarely found at other properties in Costa Rica. We also enjoyed a wonderful hike along the monkey trail within the resort grounds. We treated ourselves to a couples massage, which was pricey but absolutely worth it given the serene setting and exceptional service—the welcoming staff made us feel so valued that we happily invested in the experience. The staff deserves special mention for their outstanding service and genuine commitment to accommodating every guest. The resort is paradise. We stayed in the Vista Suite overlooking the ocean. We saw many animals from our private terrace including daily morning sightings of the Capuchin monkeys frolicking by the swimming pool. On the grounds of the resort we saw macaws, variety of other parrots, sloths, and iguanas. The staff was incredible, very friendly and professional. Amazing experience at the Parador. Resort is magnificient, you have a Monkey Trail, mini putt for the kids and pickleball courts. The pools are overlooking the Pacific Ocean with an amazing view. We saw onsite monkeys, iguanas, many kinds of birds and sloths. Breakfasts were great and the Tapas restaurant was well priced compared to outside the resort. Happy hours everyday from 6 to 7pm was great to catch the sunset. Rooms were spacious for a couple and two teenagers. Parador was also a walking distance to a nice quiet beach or you could request a golf cart ride. The Parador also offered a shuttle service free of charge that brings you to the Manual Antonio public beach. Would definetely return and recommend a stay at the Parador.

There’s zero noise barrier for the rooms you hear every single thing from neighbours and the hall. the doors slam aggressively. The furniture is heavy wood and scrapes the floor extremely loud.
The first night we didn’t sleep there was drunk people in halls and 2 rooms one above and one next door. I didn’t get a good night sleep the entire time.
One bed was good one hard as a board.

The staff is lovely. The amenities wonderful. View great.

We absolutely loved our time at Parador! We dined at all three restaurants, and the food was delicious across the board. Drinks at the upper restaurant near the suites were excellent, and the service there was impeccable. There were countless spots with breathtaking views throughout the property. We walked the Monkey Trail and saw plenty of white-faced monkeys, and even spotted some right on the hotel grounds, which was such a fun up-close experience. We also saw macaws flying by while relaxing at the pool. On a rainy day, we headed to the game room and played ping-pong, which was a great touch. We really appreciated the covered walkways throughout the property, making it easy to get around even in the rain. Our stay couldn’t have been better—this has been our favorite place to stay in Costa Rica.

This is an incredible resort situated on a peninsula with a lot of wildlife, from monkeys to sloths to birds such as scarlet macaws and cara caras.
The staff is very, very friendly and helpful!
The restaurants serve delicious foods and the Fracata has gorgeous views over the Pacific.
Everything was impeccably clean and there were staff members constantly taking care of the premises.
They cleaned the room twice a day, always replenishing the fresh towels (large!) and bottles of water.
We received a room upgrade (unbelievable room!), checked in 3 hours early and got an extension of 3 hours for check-out, which was fantastic since we went on a tour on the last morning.
Our stay was unforgettable and I hope we can return to this paradise!

The hotel was extremely clean, staff was very welcome and willing to help.
The hotel is located in a very nice location, with access to a small yet nice beach. The hotel as a nice rainforest near by

The Staff was super friendly and nice. The location of the property is very good. We wished we would have spent half of our vacation at this resort. Rooms were clean and great!
