The property is pet friendly which allowed me to bring my two cats.. I had a premium room which had an amazing view of the lake. The staff were very nice and helpful. The pension provided suhur and Iftar so I didn’t have to go searching and making reservations. Everything was good except that there were ants which seem to be an ongoing issue according to other comments. I had stayed in a different room a week earlier and that one had ants as well. Seems to be a seasonal issue. I understand that ants are difficult to get rid of but it can be a huge turn off for many. The other issue with this room was the sewer smell coming from the bathroom. My previous room didn’t have that. Also be aware that there are only 3/4 parking spaces out front. After that you park a block away and have to hike up an incline.

A truely characterful place with a genuine local feel to it.
Views are great over the lake but would recommend trying to get a big room as possible. The rooms are quite outdated and in need of updating.
The staires are steep and would not suit anyone with mobility issues.
Evening meal is very good and served in Charlies next door. Breakfast is very good and served in the panoramic room at the top of Fulya.
Parking is on the street nearby.

The hosts of the guesthouse are very hospitable. We were allowed a free late checkout. The breakfast was okay. The view from the room and the café was very nice. However, the room was in poor condition. There were leaks in the walls, and the plaster was peeling off the ceiling right above the bed, and the light fixtures were falling off the wall. But the worst thing was the condition of the windows. The plaster inside was peeling off, and a lot of ants were getting into the room. I was even bitten a couple of times. The guesthouse would be great if the room had been renovated at least a little, at least cosmetically, and if there were no ants.

Unfortunately there were some marks on the sheets, the shower in the room needs re-grouting. There were also ants in the bathroom. However the bed was comfy and Ibrahim was helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast

We were welcomed and checked in with warmth and generosity. The elevated setting on the Eğirdir peninsula, right next to a small mosque and the spectacular ruins of a Byzantine castle, is magical. The view across the lake sat outside enjoying their traditional cooking was altogether one of the highlights of our tour around Türkiye. If available, order the lake carp!

Large, clean room with partial lake view. Lovely breakfast on rooftop bar with fab views.
Managed to park right outside with a few steps to hotel. No one around initially to check in, but eventually appeared…. Very friendly…gave us a choice of two rooms…. Very informal and no English! Lovely stay.

Biz çok memnun kaldık eşim ile iki günlüğüne gittik. Sıcak havalardan kaçmak için mükemmel bir yer. Odamız tam göl manzaralıydı keyifliydi ve temizdi. Kahvaltı yeterliydi, teras da yedik güzeldi. Personel de bir sıkıntı yoktu isteklerinizi yerine getiriyorlar.
Fulya pansiyonu şiddetle tavsiye ediyorum ve o negatif yorumlara pek aldanmayın biz çok memnun ayrıldık.
Beklentiniz yüksek ise hiç birşey den memnun kalmazsınız bu da bir hayat dersi olsun..

A little gem

Reception situation not great. It looks a little tatty and you have to phone the receptionist if they are not there at booking in time. Noisy at night when people come upstairs. Rooms and bathrooms are a good size.
Breakfast area lovely but could have done with a selection of fruit and perhaps cooked-to-order eggs. Having a toaster was excellent. All in all great value.

I had visited this delightful small town in 1982, so was curious to go back. This hotel is located on the peninsula giving excellent views of both sides of the lake, as well as the town and surrounding mountains. The blue colour of the lake is absolutely stunning - photos do not capture its brilliance. We were welcomed warmly, in English (although the owner Ibrahim clearly speaks other languages) and shown to our room. The rustic building has been tastefully modernised, and our room was both clean and comfortable. The evening meal was in the adjacent Charlie's restaurant, part of the complex, which shares excellent views across the lake. Locally produced vegetables, fruit and fish from the lake featured in the meal. Breakfast was on the roof terrace, again with a wonderful panoramic view of the lake set in its surrounding mountains. I will most definately be back, and recommend this gem.

Fine place to stay in Egirdir, Turkey

Quite a mixed result. Room was ok with a very low ceiling to the balcony. Balcony large but no furniture or awnings so full sun all afternoon and evening and it was 29 degree that day. Balcony door did not close (without extreme force). Bathroom had a restrictor on the sink tap and a shallow sink so you could get an extra shower if you are not careful. Kettle in room did not turn off so had to be watched.
The good side the staff were great, room was very quiet and the view was great. Parking was ok but don't be late.

There should be a rule that hotel owners stay one night in each room.

Я останавливалась в Эгирдире в нескольких других пансионах, но этот мне понравился больше всех, теперь стараюсь останавливаться только здесь. Он похож немного на старинный замок с кованной мебелью и кое-где оставленными стенами из камня и кирпича. А панорама с верхнего этажа, считаю, - одна из лучших не только в Эгирдире, но и в Турции. Очень уютные номера и восхитительные виды.

We spent a month road-tripping through Turkey and this was the best hotel we stayed at, hands down.

Very clean, with coffee and tea facilities in the room, newly renovated rooms, and a very welcoming host. The terrace is beautiful and you can get a great view of the lake. It was a very relaxing stay and we would have prolonged it if we hadn’t already have plans for the following days.

We also had dinner at the hotel and really enjoyed it. I hope I can come back to Fulya for a week or more in the future.

Person who is working there does not understand English. It was a struggle
There were no water bottles. We gave up the idea of having dinner and breakfast there.

We had a great time at the Fulya Pansion. Ibrahim Bey is a wonderful welcoming host. It felt like staying with a relative or a good friend. He recommended what to see and do in the area and organised the transportation for us. On one day he cooked a wonderful BBQ for us. The rooms were spacious and had all necessities. Everyone was very accommodating and friendly. We enjoyed the food.
We really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel staff did not clean our room. There was no hot water the first day. Other than that the staff were friendly, breakfast superb. The lake was amazing. Prices were reasonable. We recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel and breakfast but avoid dinner

Hotel itself was clean and comfortable with a nice view. Unfortunately, right beside the mosque. They do have double glazing but only so much that can help when you’re less than 20m from the loudspeaker.
Dinner wasn’t available at that hotel so they sent us to their ‘sister’ hotel next door. That was the worst part of the stay. Overpriced and very plain. Fulya provided breakfast was good though. Good variety and tasty. Nothing worth staying for in the town itself, we used it as a stopover for the drive between Gocek and Cappadocia although was a windy day so maybe didn’t see it at its best

THE place to stay in Egirdir

Everything about our stay at Fulya was amazing. Ibrahim and his team are so welcoming, helpful and truly care about your experience. The rooms we had were beautiful, quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and delicious (thank you Annie for the omelettes!). We also had an incredible meal at the sister Pension, Charley’s; well worth it and highly recommend. We really felt at home and welcomed at Fulya. The knowledgeable staff really helped us organize our time and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Egirdir.

Ibrahim the owner is a very helpful chap. we enjoyed our stay. Great location. The mosquito looking insects are not mosquitoes they are lake insects and do not bite humans. You may be shocked to see a few on your window screen. They are everywhete in Lake Egridir. They are totally harmless. Breakfast was very good.

Excellent weekend getaway from Ankara

This location is a gem for peace and spectacular views. The Fulya Pension was clean, and the view from my room was like a picture. I took an inflatable kayak and put it on the lake and had the entire lake practically to myself. Swimming was nice too, the water was not too cold and was very clear. You need water shoes as there are rocks, not sand, at the beach. The breakfast at the Pension was lovely, and the dinner at Charlys Pension was nice too, both areas with nice views of the lake. The little peninsula is nice to walk around for a half day. The drive to and from Ankara is also fun. I highly recommend for a nice weekend.

De kamer was eenvoudig maar schoon met als plus een koelkastje. Wat we misten was handzeep of iets dergelijks. Tevens heeft de hostel geen algemene ruimte of lobby. De bovenste verdieping heeft een terras en is alleen open voor het ontbijt, wat jammer is omdat het een mooi uitzicht heeft en perfect als algemene ruimte zou kunnen fungeren. Mogelijk is het naastgelegen pension Charly's geschikter voor langer verblijf.

La camera e il bagno sono ampi e puliti.
La struttura si trova in un luogo tranquillo e silenzioso. La colazione a buffet è ricca di prodotti tipici della zona, con una vasta scelta tra dolce e salato. Inoltre è servita su una gradevole terrazza con vista sul lago.
