This is not a fancy place but it’s clean and efficient. The rooms were sufficient, bathrooms were clean, breakfast was simple but good enough for us. The restaurant across the street served an amazing supper. The owner was there to let us into our rooms and make recommendations of the area.

A hidden gem in the Town of Bíldudalur. Great, comfortable, clean room. Check in was a breeze as the key was left at the front desk! A kitchenette was made available to keep items cold and prepare a quick meal in the microwave/hot plates. Washing machines are available as well.

I loved that since we were arriving extremely late, they were so very accommodating! They left the key with our name on the desk, even though we were arriving after midnight, and we were able to simply let ourselves in. They told us if we needed to use the facilities to have something to eat that even though the restaurant would be closed at that time, we were welcome to use the facilities, and they were so extremely nice! The beds were extremely comfortable, and we both slept fantastically

I really appreciated the check in email from the hotel letting us know when the only restaurant in town closed, as well as the two closest restaurants in nearby towns. Access to a washer and dryer was unexpected and much appreciated. Laundry detergent was provided. Breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed our dinner in the adjacent Restaurant Vegamot which also houses a small grocery store and gift shop. Wish we had booked two nights!

Great little place which we booked as it was the closest to the Dynjandi falls (probably 90 minutes away) when travelling from the south.

The wonderful young woman who served us and EVERYBODY else was just superb. She is definitely a great multitasker, especially in the morning with the checkout and breakfast.
Our room was really cute and clean but small. The shared bathrooms were fine but the kitchenette, while cute, really couldn’t meet the demand of more than one or two people max. Especially because of Covid and no open restaurant the kitchenette didn’t work well.

Great space in a nice little town.
Staff were super friendly and helpful from check in when they shared a lot of local information and about the room and property to when we had breakfast early and they made sure we got lunch to go. The town is super nice and the restaurant/shop next door were a great dinner spot. Not sure if we'll ever be back in Iceland but if we do, this is on our list of places to return to.

The one night stay was very comfortable. This guesthouse, just like all the guesthouses we have stayed so far, has small and simple rooms but very clean! The small fishing village that this guesthouse is located, Bildudarlur, has only one restaurant. If you want more dinning options, stay at Patreksfjordur 30 km south. Breakfast was included so that enhanced the value of staying at this place.

We had room 1 which is a large corner room with windows on two sides. Room as well as shared bathrooms were very clean. Well equipped shared kitchen.
Good breakfast with plenty of choices. Owner was very friendly and gave us a great suggestion to drive up the gravel road northwest from town. It's a beautiful drive along the fjord to sandy beaches that you likely will have to yourselves.

Nice hotel in a small town
This is a nice hotel. It is small but it is very nicely maintained. We stayed in room 12 which is a little more spacious and has an extra sitting area. The room was large compared to other rooms we have stayed in around Iceland. The bathroom was modern and equipped with high end toilet and it has a counter in the sink area for personal belongings like toothbrushes etc. the bed was comfortable and all the blankets and pillows smelled fresh and looked clean. Breakfast was standard. It was good, coffee and tea are available all day. I lined the town. It’s very small but located close to some of the attractions. The front desk was very very helpful upon arrival and we had one little service call to get the TV set up and the gentleman was prompt and friendly. Overall we had a nice relaxing stay here.

This place was super cute. I didn’t understand when I booked it that it meant the “shared bathroom” meant we were sharing with a few other rooms but it was very nice and I didn’t mind it at all. The bathroom was very modern and very clean but a fan would have been nice for when you shower. The place itself was super cute and the lady at the front desk was really nice even though we were a little late for check in. I’m gluten free so I’m used to not having many options for breakfast but wow this place actually had gluten free breads and snacks and the lady was so kind and baked me some of their gluten free baguettes for breakfast. They even had dairy free options too. I was very grateful and really impressed. Loved it and I hope to come back again some day!
