We were in town for a concert at the Ford Center. We had the breakfast and dinner which were very good. Pool was cold but the hot tub was nice. We had a room near the lobby area and the walls were super thin. We could hear everything at 7:00am. People, doors slamming and dogs barking.

The hot tub was great. There were flickering light fixtures above the sink. When we were trying to relax in the hot tub there were very loud teenagers roughhousing, running, and diving etc which wasn’t pleasant. Breakfast was great.

Our stay was wonderful. We checked in a little early with no problem. After settling into our room, we enjoyed the hot tub spa and the pool. The pool area was spotless. our room was large and well-appointed and the bed comfortable. The three members of the staff that we had interaction with were extremely friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and helpful.

I always love these hotels. They are one of the only things left in America that is true value for your money. Always super friendly and helpful staff, very clean, and nice meals. My one complaint was that this was a bit of an older building so you could hear a fair bit of outside and inside noise but I would still stay here again.

The reason I say only “ok” is because the decor is pretty outdated and the hotel itself feels dark with low ceilings in the rooms and narrow hallways. The nightly rate was simply too high for the amenities.
