There’s not many places to stay in this area but this place is cute and homie. Could use a good handyman to fix a few little things but overall we had a wonderful stay and price was good. Lots of cigarette burn holes in sheets and blankets on both beds but otherwise sheets and blankets felt clean and nice quality.

Definitely will not stay there again. Room was poor. AC and refrigerator didn’t work. Towels were old and ragged. Only hot water worked in the bathroom sink and shower. Missing tile pieces and cardboard covered the window. Mattress very old and linens very old. Couldn’t shower faucet was broken.

The CMM is located roadside in a small, historic mining town at the entrance to a narrow canyon where the major road snakes its way up to Miami and Globe. CMM is small, the rooms are modest, and the outside is gravelled. Nonetheless, it is spick-and-span clean with fresh towels, immaculate sheets, a small side room with a table desk for laptop work, and a room air conditioner second to none. CMM is surprisingly quiet and well-known and popular with traveling workers in the region. I was very pleased with my stay.

We got to the motel and when we got the keys to check out the room - we left. The room was in awful condition. There were cigarette burns in the bedding, the room had an awful smell, items in the bathroom appeared to have not been cleaned in a long time. We were uncomfortable and unwilling to stay - so a friend offered and we stayed elsewhere.

Very cute and affordable place to stay, we were there to visit the Renaissance Faire for the weekend. The renovated shower was great, and the sheets & blankets were the softest of any hotel I've ever stayed in. Will definitely stay here again if we go back to the area.

Couldn't use our tablet the wifi wasn't strong, had to wait 30 minutes to use the small tv.Our luggage now smells like lysol of some sort, my husband woke with a headache from the strong lysol smell I struggled to breathe all night from the lysol smell. Never again. We looked under the bed and again soooo gross. Sad experience

It's definitely an older motel but was clean and well kept. It was perfect for the one night we needed it and had amenities around. The owner was very nice, accommodating and kept the line of communication open as we were expected to arrive late. A few recommendations would be to get some type of shelf in the bathroom as it's hard to get ready with nowhere to put your curling iron or makeup. Or maybe put a big mirror in the sleeping area. A chair is also needed, there's nowhere to sit. Otherwise all was good and we'd stay again if needed.

The Copper Mountain Motel is a great low-cost option for anyone visiting Superior to hike, visit the Arboretum, or explore Superior's historic downtown. The motel is not on Main St, but its location right off the 60 is convenient for travelers, and it is only a quick drive/walk to get to the historic town center. The owner is kind and accommodating. My room was large and clean and my stay was quiet and uneventful.

I don’t even know where to start. It was bad. Like really bad. The door to the room was not secure, there was no deadbolt, it was literally an interior door! There was one lamp on bedside table. No other lighting worked. The bathroom was filthy… pubic hair, around the commode it was all dirty and dusty, there was grimy soap scum and mold in shower. The wall heater had several layers of duct and electrical tape. A pedestal floor fan was the cooling. I took pictures because it was so shocking. We would have left, if it wasn’t so late and we weren’t so exhausted. The lady was friendly but c’mon actually had the cajones to ask how everything was as I checked out? I was gobsmacked. They should be ashamed charging over 100 dollars but there is only one other hotel in the area and it’s two and half times the price of this one ( and btw it’s beautiful) My advice is to go there or with an Airbnb, the town is really a great place to visit. Friendly people, delicious food and neat shops.

It was not the best of stays. The owner was lovely, but the room was dark, light in the room didn’t work. We spent very little time in the room, but it did not feel safe. Only bottom lock on door worked, deadbolt was just for show. No real bath towels, and the best of the worst was the bed. 2 flimsy old pillows and the crunchiest most used up mattress I have ever slept on. Would not recommend if you have certain ideas of what a $100 a night hotel should look and be like, but if you just want sleep and go , it might work for you, but not for $100 a night. If you are alone, a single person, no, do not stay here, it is not a very safe area. I will never be caught there alone. It just wasn’t worth the $ although the little town itself is so quaint.

The room was extremely small, the comforters felt dirty. My husband was unable to get the WiFi password. Too many things to complain about. The cost was extreme considering the smallest room ever. Not to mention that one bed was horribly uncomfortable! Not coming back

We stayed here a few years ago and the owner was friendly and helpful. The place was shabby but quaint. We were extremely tired when we arrive. It was a place to sleep but no amenities. No coffee. Nothing open nearby. We had to leave early in the morning. The price was low, but if I had known the condition, I would have looked elsewhere.

Location just off US60 but the rooms are well-insulated and I could't hear any traffic. The rooms appear to have been recently renovated and are convenient, with a separate study/breakfast nook with fridge and microwave and efficient heat/AC unit. Small but serviceable bathroom. Comfortable queen bed. Very friendly and helpful manager.

The reviews are correct. It is an older motel and they are working on it. And the woman who works there is outstanding! The hotel has charm, and is worth what you pay for it. We’ve stayed in hotels where it’s been worse than what we paid, but we’d actually return here because of the service, location, and the heater and refrigerator are awesome!

We spent about 1.5 hrs in the room and decided we could not stay in it. Drove 25 miles out of town to find a suitable room. The prior reviews noting remodeling are either completely bogus or Room 1 has yet to be remodeled. Room is right off the highway so it sounded like cars were gonna come through the walls. The room had not seen a fresh coat if paint in years. Furniture, fixtures & window coverings are from the 60’s or 70’s. There were cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, especially the closet, spider carcasses smashed into the walls, door moldings broken off, not sure how secure the entry door was, toilet paper packed around the bathroom window to “seal”, open holes in shower where plumbing came through the walls. Provided towels were older than me and looked like shop towels or car washing towels. Room was freezing and there was a 4” x 4” electric space heater that didn’t work. On site staff provided his own to accommodate our needs. I have pictures for most of the issues noted here! This place appears to be more of a boarding house than a motel for travelers.

The room was not clean - from top to bottom. Fan blades had dust bunnies, old towels, old sheets, cold floors, toilet brush in the room, .... sad sad room. Not worth $100!!!!

For one or two nights it would have been ok. We had to request toilet Parker, the torque had to be used to dry the bathroom for and they were removed but not replaced.. It is not a place for any length of stay. Stay was super friendly but not attentive.

Small historic old town, shouldn’t expect many big city amenities. If you’re visiting the arboretum, just passing through, or hiking the area it’s a good place to lay your head and rest.
The tile floors are a great remodeling upgrade. Shower only, no tub. Plenty of hot water. Only one set of towels for a two person stay. Did not ask for more. I feel like I would have been accommodated if I did but we had some of our own.
Staff were very friendly and check in super fast. The bed was old and creeky, but comfortable.
As noted in other reviews there were no hangers.
The little kitchenette area was serviceable with a microwave, table, chair, and roomy 7cu ft fridge (that’s one way to stop thieves from loading up those tiny little fridges and leaving). Trash cans in the room clean and bagged.
Cons worth mentioning- Although the bathroom windows are very tiny, as a retired police officer, I did not like that the framing had been previously pried and the window did not lock. I wedged a hairbrush in it to keep potential peepers from opening it while we were out. Owners- Please secure the windows!
The drawers were not cleaned out and I found a pill in the top drawer, before my four year old did. Flushed it down the toilet.
