We had an incredible stay at this hotel. The staff were so welcoming, accomodating and answered all questions we had with a smile. They were very easy to contact through Expedia messages and helped to arrange a free luggage porter service from the ferry terminal that we arrived at (very nice inclusion, as the hotel is not far from the main road/ferry/bus area, but extremely busy during the day and could be difficult to navigate with luggage). The owner Gerry even helped us with a wine cork and a pair of glasses for us to enjoy a bottle that we brought back to the hotel on our first night.
Other pluses:
- the complimentary breakfast was good and coffee is made to order.
- the location is perfect, right in the heart of Amalfi, provides a great base to see the city and the coast in general.
- The rooftop terrace was incredible, we were almost always the only couple there. The views, the sunlight, and the sun chairs were very nice.
- The hotel and the rooms are so clean and comfortable feeling. The jacuzzi tub in our room was much enjoyed. The bed was very comfortable. The hotel was quiet during the night, no disturbances to sleep.
Overall, I would say this hotel is an incredible value on the coast, and an establishment run with genuine care. Go here if considering a stay in Amalfi!
