Great hotel. Beautiful with really helpful owners

We arrived in the early hours of the morning after a long night drive from Caen. The owners had emailed us an entry code and organised a location for the key. They also arranged for us to put our bikes in the garden. The room was spacious, clean and really comfortable. The next morning breakfast was excellent and situated in their beautiful garden. I would definitely recommend this hotel to families.

Totally unexpected and hidden retreat for the tired tourists we were. A fully renovated old home transformed in a cosy hotel with authentic materials and genuine decoration. We have highly enjoyed our Old Cognac XSOP glass in a lounge hidden in a cosy corner on first floor...

Very good hotel

We needed somewhere to stay near our daughter and family who were in a gite near Aulnay

This hotel proved to be an extremely good base !
Very clean .,comfortable and quite charming
Very helpful hosts too
We recommend this hotel wholeheartedly ,great !
The only slight drawback is with Aulnay itself ,there is nowhere to enjoy a decent evening meal
Just a couple of fast food cafes
Aulnay itself is quite charming and we enjoyed visiting the market on Saturday
However we did enjoy a marvellous meal in St jean dAngely at L'scorlion restaurant about 20 min away .

Good hotel, no village food

Hotel is a nice property in a (very) quiet village. Room very clean, facilities all good, lounge area, free effective Wi-Fi extremely important when travelling. Owner was polite and informative, a French lady who spoke English well. The only downside was the village restaurant never opened and it proved difficult to get an evening meal.

Wonderful !

Just the most lovely hotel: we had the suite which leads onto the walled garden and it and the level of cleanliness were 1st class. As also was the hospitality of the owners and the excellent breakfast. We will be returning.

Personnels aimable et souriant, c'est la troisième fois que nous venons dans cet hôtel, plusieurs aires de stationnement à proximité. Le cadre agréable est typique de la région, chambre propre, confortable (baignoire, toilettes, TV, wifi, téléphone, bouilloire..), A chaque séjour nous avons bien dormi que nous soyons côté rue ou côté cours. Seul bémol sur ce séjour, le petit déjeuner, plus de service à table, il faut se contenter d'un distributeur de boissons, il n'y avait pas non plus de fruits et les portions (pain, viennoiseries...) sont un peu juste. Quoi qu'il en soit nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésitation.

Séjour très agréable et calme.

Séjour d'une nuit très agréable. Super accueil. Chambre très spacieuse confortable avec beaucoup de charme. Plus un repas table d'hôte simple et delicieux.

Accueil excellent. Chambre vaste et propre. Excellent wifi Endroit très calme. A recommander pour qui veut faire étape dans le secteur et visiter non seulement Aulnay (car c'est vite fait !) mais aussi saint Jean d'Angély.

Personnel très aimable, bon petit déjeuner, joli jardin et grande chambre au calme.
Wifi à disposition et heureusement car pas beaucoup de réseau mobile.
Attention aux indications GPS car rues très étroites à proximité de l’hôtel si on arrive pas du bon coté, proche d'une place commerçante avec stationnement. Pas beaucoup de restaurant.

une halte sur la route des vacances très agréables : accueil chaleureux, chambre confortable et spacieuse donnant sur le jardin, seul tout petit hic esthétique (la couverture marron du lit supplémentaire).

Zum Wohlfühlen

Ein reizendes Ehepaar führt dieses liebevoll restaurierte kleine Hotel. Hübsche, einfache aber geschmackvolle Zimmer führen im Erdgeschoss in den schönen Garten. Wir fühlen uns sehr wohl dort und kommen immer wieder!

Accueil et organisation au rendez vous, petit déjeuner un peu simple (yaourt et beurre pas au frais).
Hôtel très bien tenu , chambres et salle de bain propre et de bon goût.

Un petit hôtel charmant avec des propriétaires très agréables. Dommage que le temps frais ne m'ait pas permis de profiter de la petite cour privée. Une étape réussie tant au point de vue professionnel que détente. Je le conseille vraiment à tous les types de voyageurs.
Mhhhh j'aurais aimé avoir canal plus le soir de barcelone bayern ;)

Prachtig hotel in een klein dorpje, ca 20 km van de snelweg. Mooie grote kamer, heerlijke bedden.
Ontvangst erg plezierig en hartelijk.
Geen eigen parkeerterrein.

Soirée étape pro

Hôtel situé dans un petit village tranquille avec possibilité de restauration sur une place à coté de l’hôtel. L’hôtel est confortable et bien aménagé. L’accueil est sympathique et le petit-déjeuner bien. Pas de parking privé ni de restauration. Idéal pour passer une bonne nuit de repos.
