Nice hotel with a fairly easy walk from train and tram station. Clean and friendly. Room was very small, and lacked air conditioning. Staff said they are working on getting air conditioning in the future. So, check if you are planning a summer trip.

Had a great stay at Westend while exploring Munich. The room was clean and nicely decorated, and the location was very convenient for getting around the city. The staff were incredibly helpful, friendly, and easy to reach. The optional breakfast was a great value at just $10. Would definitely stay here again!!

The staff were very polite, great people!
I didn't have breakfast, but tee and coffee are free and available 24/7 which really surprised me and I liked a lot.
In the same street there are different kinds of food and restaurants and also shopping mall is 100m far, it is big advantage.
The room was clean and cozy. The 1 thing I didn't like was pillows for sleeping. They were so soft and in my option not comfortable.
Besides that, everything was fine.

I had an excellent time staying at the Westend Hotel in Munich. We were in Munich for Oktoberfest which was a short 10 minute walk away plus the Hackerbrücker train station was an 8 minute walk away where we could travel anywhere in the city including the airport. The buffet breakfast was very good and included several options that were continuously filled. Everyone who worked at the hotel was very friendly and helpful. 😃

Late night pizza place across the street and some really delicious restaurants and beer gardens in the neighborhood, all within a 5 minute walk. It’s about 10 walk to any of the three public transit stops including S and U Hahn.

We stayed because of the location to Oktoberfest. But it was filthy!!! There were what looked to be black beard shavings EVERYWHERE in our room. Even our bed, sinks, floors. The hotel in itself smelled so moldy. I wore white socks and they were black on the bottom from walking in our hotel room. And leaving the your room key at the front desk every-time you left felt like an invasion of privacy.

Great location & good value for money.

Arrived at Midnight,very friendly receptionist helped us load our car into the underground parking lift located down an alley way rear of the hotel.
Hotel was old but well located,at a good priced & clean & comfortable.
Breakfast was great at a bargain price of €7 each.
Car parking €10/night.
Noisy in the morning starting 7am due to construction work around the hotel.
Other than that was a great stay we booked 2 rooms for the family which cost less than one room in most hotels in the area.

Not a great stay. There are construction projects next door and across the street. Combined with housekeepers working before 8am, it wasn't the best conditions to sleep any later. Room was small, but ok. Didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment about the food. Overall, the hotel was ok. But considering the high price this time of year, it wasn't worth the price of admission.

Our room had a balcony, which was a great surprise. The area is really nice – loads of interesting places to eat, street art, and close to centre on the tram. The staff were really helpful and relaxed. Having a fridge in the room was a nice addition. Only criticism is the shower, which was too small – I kept turning the water off when I moved! And the water pressure was quite low. But we had a great week in Munich and really enjoyed the hotel and Westend district!

I stayed for 8 nights. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and had a small fridge. The walls are not sound proof but there was no noise when i was sleeping. There was a place to launder clothes, restaurants and a shopping mall very close which was excellent for me. Breakfast was $4€ each day and not as good as the photo showd but ok in the end. I would recommend staying here.

Hotel liegt in Fussdistanz zum zentralen Busbahnhof, bietet alles, was man für einen City-Trip braucht. Komfortables Bett, ruhiges Zimmer bekommen und entsprechend gut geschlafen :-)

Very clean, kind staff, especially at the front desk. Has mini fridge in room (can't remember if stated in room description...). Unlimited free coffee/tee/espresso/hot chocolate machine was great! The beds were comfortable, but I always become uncomfortable the second night with feather/flat pillows (personal problem). But these styles of pillows are at almost every European hotel I've been to.

Neighborhood is away from the tourism but we were able to easily walk (or could've taken public transit) to the Altstadt. Wonderful restaurant/beer house 3min walk north (seriously best food, great price!

This property is basic, but the location is a short and manageable walk to the central area of Munich. The free breakfast was fantastic! The staff were great!!! Wonderful value for the money. Pillows are absolutely pointless. But if you roll your blanket up like a sausage it works like a firm pillow.

Hotel looks dreary from the out side, but inside is nice, the room is brand new, quiet location, close to bus terminal (Flixbus etc.) 10 minutes walking. To get downtown use Streetcar or u-Bahn. The Main (train) Station is a bit further away ca 20 minutes walk.

Decent budget place. The 8 Euro breakfast is good deal. The warm self-serve drinks throughout the day were a nice touch. The only thing I really hated was the bed. It was 2 twin mattresses pushed together. During the night the two parts kept separating and I fell between them waking up repeatedly. Please change to a one piece mattress!!!!

Hotel location is nice a walking distance to the city center. The hotel is an old one with few renovation. Bathroom very small Can not take a shower without the curtain sticking to your body. We booked the hotel only because it said that they have parking. When we arrived there they told us that no more spaces left. We complained about it and they decided to offer us and emergency parking spot and asked us to keep our car keys in case they need to remove the car. We paid 9 euros for it which was ok for us but didn’t seem right to us since they spot was an emergency space. However we used it and didn’t have any trouble. Will not go back to this hotel.

Couldn't find parking spot, so had to pay 9 euros for underground parking.
Hotel facilities are very average. Very small bathroom with shower and shower curtain sticking to you during all time while you take a shower.
Area surrounding hotel is not the most prominent, during the night i woke up few times since some drunks lived their nightlife.
And the last drop. Rooms do not have clocks, so i asked receptionist for a wake-up call at 4:30AM. Good that my IPhone did it, call from reception never came.
Good thing i needed to spend just one night before flying back home.

The free tea & coffee service was very nice. We made a mistake with our train booking and we had to stay in the common room for an hour after the check-out. They let us stay until we had to leave. There is a coin laundry run by a Polish family if you need to do your washing.

Great location with very pleasant and helpful staff. Our room was clean, comfortable but very basic.

Hotel decor reminded us of a cheap Spanish hotel in the 1970s with a shabby appearance but you get what you pay for! For us, a clean room, working hot shower and comfortable bed met our needs fine. Just 10 minutes from the local U-bahn station was very convenient as well.

I stayed there for 4 nights.Overall, it is not a bad stay. And I really appreciate the hotel offer free coffee & tea. The bed is comfy. Soundproof is alright. The cleanliness is okay but can be better. Wifi is quite good, fast & stable. Size of room is good. Location is good. It's very near the main bus station and train station. Also, there is a bakery shop which is over 100 years and laundry store. It's quite handy for me.

Our only complaint is that the walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on in the hall way when you are in your room. Other than that, we had a great stay! Made welcome when I arrived, and room was ready ahead of schedule. Complimentary water was very welcome as the weather was very hot. Breakfast was very good value. Apart from building site next door, area was pleasant, with local pubs and shops handily placed.

Perfect for your stay
