Staff were very nice and helpful. The location is A+ and can’t be beat. The room was dated and quite dirty with cobwebs in the vaulted ceiling and the ceiling fan was covered in a years worth of dust, we spoke with staff and they cleaned it right away. The pool in the picture looks very inviting but in reality it is right on top of the lobby and small with zero sun light. Overall the property is in a great neighbor very close to all that Hoi An has to offer.

Nice little hotel. The room was ok needed new floors and the bathroom very small BUT the view from our room, the pool and the staff made up for the ok room.
Location is fantastic easy walk (end of the street) to the night market. Close to food and shopping and only 16 min in car to the beach.

Apon check in the staff advised our rooms aircon was out of action and put us over at there sister hotel LA AN Hotel which is one Street over and we were able to use both facilities due to the inconvenience.
Our family room at La An Hotel was massive on the top level with a view both sides of the street one being to old town. Comfy beds, good aircon, water pressure ECT.

Can't fault the staff at both of these properties. The staff make this place and made our experience/stay amazing they go above and beyond for the guests. They even helped with arranging for my son's blanket to be delivered from were we had accidentally left it in Da nang. So thankful!

We had a lovely 2 night stay The staff were all so welcoming and helpful. The hotel was ideally situated for the Old Town and wandering around the night market . The room was perfect and we slept well. The breakfast was good too. We would definitely stay again if we are lucky enough to be back in Hoi An .

Just stayed here for the 20 days we spent in beautiful Hoi An. La An Central Boutique was exactly what we needed. Very close to restaurants and the old town. Staff were amazing , very friendly and nothing was too much. We appreciated Linh and Dong organising our planned day trips and their suggestions for other things to .
Next time we visit Hoi An we will be re booking to stay here.
We checked in as strangers but left as family.

Lovely little hotel in a great location

Superb location just off the main drag, easy and convenient for all the main attractions in Hoi An. Friendly staff who whilst offering trips etc. were not over pushy as stated by others. Nothing seemed too much problem. Should also note that their tours did work out slightly cheaper then booking online.

Very noisy hotel- doors slamming, elevator dinging loudly. No door to the bathroom so no privacy to use toilet. Leaking roof by sink. Sheets with dirt stains. Didn't get the requested king bed. Great pool, decent breakfast, convenient location, and very cheap.

Special thanks to Mr Dong for going out of his way to help me with a grab ride, helping me with my luggages, arranging a tour with a good tour guide and reasonable price, he anticipated my needs and offer his help to make my trip easier. The place is conveniently located near the old town, the room with the river view is very clean and relaxing, the bathroom is spacious, the elevator works flawlessly. I highly recommend this place.

There were a lot of maintenance issues, fans not working, and mould. The premium room we booked on the top level was so musty and mouldy we couldn’t stay in it. They moved us to another room, however we paid the higher rate. The breakfast was good and the staff were lovely.

We loved our stay at La An. It has been a lovely experience from start to finish. The location couldn't be more perfect, nice and close to the Old Town and shops; just one street back from the main drag meant we weren't bothered by the noise of the market or tourists. Staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Highly recommended!

The hotel was as advertised. Small family hotel near to Old Town. The place feels authentic with local shops and local people (with kids playing on the street). Good breakfast that is included in the price. Great little pool. Staff was friendly. I would single out Dong, the night manager / receptionist. He is one of a kind: nice, friendly, great conversationist, and willing to help with a smile that is sort of contagious. My only suggestion for improvement would be a need for more (or better) lighting in the rooms.

The hotel is clean and well located. Rooms are bigger than most in Vietnam. The breakfast is simple yet nice. Some taxis could refuse to drive to the hotel due to the night markets and crowded lanes, however everything is at a walking distance on the island.


The staff is friendly and helpful! I would be happier if there wasn’t a constant attempt to sell day tours/trips.

Would definitely stay here the next time we are in Hoi An.

The staff were very welcoming and helped us get to know the area and also to arrange our onward travel to Hue. Good quiet stay in Hoi An with river view.

I really liked my Deluxe Double Room with River View. It was quiet and comfortable. The river view was a nice plus. The hotel was basic but adequate, good value for the money. The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was convenient, in a quiet neighborhood not far from the center. The only problem is that when it rains hard, the street floods in front the hotel and you can't access it without getting your feet deep in water.

La An was a great place to stay at. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The guest reception always had someone on the premise ready to greet you.

The brrakfast has everything for everyone. You can order fresh eggs or cao lau (noodle dish). Bread, banana pancakes, sausages and bacon, fried noodles, fried rice, veggies , fruits and drinks.

I would recommend people to stay here if they wanted close to the night market action. And being central to all the tailor shops.

A little bit dated but very comfortable rooms. Hoi An floods regularly and this is one of the hotels near the river so beware....you may have to wade to the hotel at certain times of year. All adds to the fun! Breakfast not much to shout about.

It rained really hard one night to the point where our room was flooding. In addition to that, we saw many cockroaches and spiders in the room. The sheets are not super clean. Lastly, the receptionist scammed us in getting a ride to Da nang for a lot more money than what people in the city were asking for.

We had an amazing time with La An. The hotel is in a close distance to Hoi An old town and river. The hotel has 2 free bicycles for guests to use. The staffs are really friendly providing us some good tips to get around and where to go in Hoi An, a trip to Cham Island.
We also like our room a lot. We have a view to the old town and the river.
They also offered a nice breakfast, we had Cao Lau noodles which is a specialty in Hoi An.
Again, thanks for welcoming us. We enjoyed our time a lot.

This hotel is in a good location and fairly good condition. Beds are firm and ok. Bathroom is small with no counter space. No hooks to hang towels. They have make up mirror in the room with no light and have coffee tray set underneath. How can you use it for makeup. Breakfast is ok. By 8AM all the items are gone and they don’t refill again. Staff will walk around but doesn’t clear plates of the table. They serve Vietnamese coffee that takes forever to make. Please just serve regular coffee that is ready. Breakfast food is always cold. They need to have food warmers. Check in was slow. Staff tried to sell tours before they could check us in. Pool is there but not really usable. We saw big mouse running around the pool area. I am not sure if I would stay here again.

I stayed here for six days and would most definitely go back. The hotels attention to detail was perfection, including the staff, the food, the beds and linen were also so comfy. Convenient location within walking distance to everything but a very quiet area for sleeping. It's most definitely worth upgrading to a riverview room...

This hotel is walkable to old town and steps away from the night market. The breakfast is very good with a varied menu of local food as well as western breakfast. We enjoyed our stay there. The staff are friendly and especially Quyen and the other young lady at reception. We highly recommend this hotel
