They claim to be dog friendly but have nothing but hazards on the grounds for dogs, and a long list of citations if you break their rules. Doesn’t added citations defeat the purpose of leaving your card for incidentals? If my dog ruins something, yes, I’ll pay for it. But don’t treat my dog like a criminal before we even check in.

The Stay was nice. The only trouble was after checking in we discovered our pooch wasn't allowed in the main lodge where our room was booked. Guest registration was able to switch the booking around to another building to accommodate my pooch. It was a very positive experience. The front desk person was understanding of the mix up. If you have a pooch and book through Expedia, call the resort ahead of time to ensure the reservation is for a pet friendly room. I will book here again. The Continental breakfast was good too.

We got there after dark and our cabin wasnt on the property so the way the front desk person told us to get there was confusing and the road to the cabin wasn't lit up and there were no lights on in the cabin so we had a hard time finding it. Once we got in, it was clean just didnt realize we we'd be so far off the property.

Was a good stay however is the morning we went to jacks for are free breakfast and watched many sets of people enter and get served and the lady wouldnt even look at my wife, daughter, and I. Needless to say we did not get are free breakfast both mornings. We took this very personal and we were nice to everyone. Some of the people spoke up for us and she still didnt serve us.

We stayed at the property while passing through. It is not ski resort season, but we thought we would explore the area. The staff member a young man who lived up the road was very polite. We arrived late, limited people around. The short fall while booking was the restaurants advertised on property, including breakfast made to order. Unfortunately, we stayed at a rate of $145 and anticipated at least breakfast. Knowing this location is going through ownership transition we completely understand and have no complaints as we had the property to ourselves. I suggested the location to my brother-in-law and niece who are avid skiers. Hopefully, we can return to the area and accommodations are aligned with the new ownership expectations.

Check in was great. We went to our room which was clean and had comfortable beds. The chairlift ride was a lot of fun. That is where the good ended for our stay. The tv in our room and the staff did try to figure it out but she didn’t know how to get it to work. Breakfast the next morning was a joke. The food was not edible and they were understaffed. We could have forgiven the poor service of the food was okay.

We were here off season bringing our son to school at Michigan Tech. Very friendly staff, big clean two bedroom (I snore!). We received arm bands allowing us to take a ride on the ski lift in August which was very fun. $40 vale for that ride. The breakfast was not continental - it was a special menu that was cooked to serve out of the kitchen. Probably a $60 vale given the price of most hotels. The rooms had AC even though the listing said they didn’t. Great value and we will be back.

We only stayed 1 night. Above us they had a dog that ran around the room starting at 2am. We could hear it going back and forth through the ceiling. Then around 4am it started to bark off-and-on. We had to check out a day early because we couldn't stay in that room another night. Since we didn't stay the second night, I would like a refund for that night.

With a bit of a rough start as our air conditioner wasn't working, this was a great stay. The modern updates really make this place nice. Maintenance staff was awesome getting the air going, the room was clean, bright and inviting, and beakfast delicious. A bit off the beaten path, this was a perfect place to stay for a quick yooper adventure.

This was a random find as we were looking for a pit stop in between camping spots in the UP. We ended up booking an extra night due to the bugs and my family being tired of camping. This place was so nice, our view was stunning, breakfast was free and fantastic, the beds were very comfy, and my kids fought over top bunk in our family suit. The managers and staff were so friendly and gave us plenty of places to explore and enjoy locally plus free ski lift rides! We didn’t expect to stay and enjoy it as much as we did but now we are planning another stay later this year in the “off season” and I hope to get back again in winter to check out all their runs between the two hills.

The name of the hotel was not the same on our confirmation, sign by the highway, or on the building. Must have changed names without changing signage three times. They had a fisg and fetch event on july 5th from 5 to 8 to ride the chairlift. We arrived at 540pm and they were done. Room was not cleaned daily and shower never got warm. One high point was the breakfast waitress was awesome and sauna got plenty hot.

I paid full price in spring. There were no employees to be found. The one kind employee, Joey, eventually made it to the front desk after I called the remote reservations number. Joey was apologetic. The parking lot is a disaster. Other than Joey and the fact that the room I stayed in was very nice, the bar was not attended the breakfast hours were not convenient, and as I described previously, it was a ghost town. Never again.

Construction started early morning just below my room, without any disclaimer from the staff. Imagine that - they put people in the rooms in the unfinished building. Another thing - I unfortunately left behind a bag of personal items and staff was impossible to get a hold of on multiple attempts. Someone took a message for the front desk but no one ever got back to me.
