You don’t want to stay here unless you have kids

There is nothing says it’s a family hotel
We had a issue and want to talk to the hotel manager, she made it so hard, the front desk called her 3 times, we thought she was home turning out she was just next door in the office. The toilet cover has stains and the bathroom door has yellow spots.
Foods are salty, don’t bother booking HB, not worth it.

This hotel has all the facilities. The reception is very slow to update its booking system to long time to check in 30 minutes to check out as the hotel could not see that we had paid. . The hotel has amazing facilities . And very relaxing. The volume of people in the restaurant makes difficult for 4 star food . The hotel may well benefit from a fine dining experience.

We Meant to stay at another hotel but due to 'technical difficulties' we were moved here and we ere so glad we were. The hotel is right on the harbour. It takes about 10 minutes to walk into Rab City itself. The facilities at the hotel are great, staff are very attentive and do a wonderful job. The food buffets for breakfast and dinner are amazing there was so much choice and something for everyone even the fussiest eater. we had two comments though. the drinks in the bar are very expensive compared to a local bar next door to the hotel. we paid 32 Kuna for a beer and a g & T in the little bar next door but the same was 92 Kuna in the hotel . I'm sure they have to make a profit but if they reduced their bar prices guests would spend more time in the hotel. If you have mobility difficulties or are of short stature you may find it tricky getting out of the shower. The shower is over the bath and the bath is a lovely deep bath ideal if you want to soak but not so ideal if you have a shower and then try to step out of the bath, I am 5feet 8inches tall and struggled to step out of the bath. However I would certainly recommend this hotel

Worst hotel ever-I've travelled all over the globe

Horrible stay overall. Gabi at reception gave us an extremely small room and insisted it's a \"triple room\", I was forced on a very small child-sized bed even though two doubles as a minimum were advertised. I was lied to! Gabi was very rude as well. She told me to come back to reception to complete the checkin after one hour as she was busy checking others in. Gabi asked for full payment even though the hotel stay was already prepaid. She denied knowledge of the prepayment. She asked for payment again in full at checkout, I had to remind her that she already managed to find the prepaid booking the before. The waiter at the breakfast said we are not entitled to breakfast as we don't have a paid for reservation. It was so embarrassing in front of all the other guest. Another waiter came and asked for payment too!! I had to go to reception to clear this! The hotel charges for drinks at the \"free breakfast and dinners\" so it's not really free. Please listen to my advice and DO NOT STAY here. All staff were rude too. The sauna took our payment and later told us it's only going to be open for an hour but they haven't turned on the heating yet, which will take about 20 min. Trashy and loud music was played around 10 pm under the title \"dance show\". You are better off in an airbnb.

Great stay but go out for dinner

Very nice resort in a wonderful town. We were disappointed by the “half board” option, however, as the restaurant is all buffet, even for dinner. We would stay again but only include breakfast at the hotel.

Hotel was in superb location with water taxi to the old town. The restaurant were extremely good with wide variety of food. A special mention to 'Dragan' who was exceptionally good at his job!

A resort hotel within Rab island off Croatia coast

I booked this hotel without knowing it is located in an island. I had to take a car ferry to go to the island. But the cost was reasonable and the frequency of the ferry was o.k. The hotel was located very next to a small port. The hotel receptionist gave me a sea view room and the sceanary from the room was excellent. You could also see the performance at night. The food served was delicious. Only down side is you have to pay for the wifi and it can be connected only in the lobby. The general conditions of the hotel was reasonable but the renovation would be nice. The hotel location could not be better, except the car park place is very limited.

Basic, but great location and views

We had a lovely 5-day stay on Rab and this hotel made for a good base. The view from our (sea view) balcony was fabulous and well worth the extra we paid, the pool was good (if cold) and the location, just 15 mins walk around the marina from the Old Town was excellent.

On the other hand, the food was deeply unimpressive (bland buffet consisting of overcooked fish, grilled meat, a stew and standard pasta/vegetable fayre - we ended up eating out on two of our 5 nights), everything was a bit tired and the hotel seemed to charge extras for almost everything (wifi in the lobby which wasn't even especially fast, using the minibars for your own drinks etc). The building is also appallingly ugly, but that doesn't really matter when you're in it!

Overall, it does a good job - and the view from the balcony was really quite something. Would recommend but not with overwhelming enthusiasm.

Soweit alles in Ordnung!
Nur im Oliva war immer alles unter jeder Würde.
Hier hätte ein 2 od. 3 Kellner in den Stoßzeiten so einiges bewirkt! Wartezeiten auf ein Getränk ca. 45 Min. auf Essen 75 Min. einfach schlecht!!!

Sehr nettes und hilfsbereites Personal, sowohl an der Reception als auch im Bar und Restaurationsbereich.
Sehr schöne Zimmereinrichtung, viel Stauraum und von den Meer/Stadtblick Zimmer einen tollen Ausblick. Das Buffet Restaurant bietet eine sehr breite Auswahl an unterschiedlichen Speisen und Desserts an. Hier kann es zu den Hauptzeiten doch recht geschäftig zu und her gehen und der Geräuschpegel entsprechend ansteigen. Grosse Poolanlage innen/aussen, Wellness und Unterhaltung, Beachclub und viele Parkplätze direkt am Hotel.

Adequate quality buffet with plenty of options was a good choice with small number of restaurants open in the pre-pre-season and the indoor pool was a saviour on a rainy day. Comfy beds and friendly staff helped too.

Modernes Hotel und freundliches Personal, Zimmer etwas klein. Gute Lage. Hauptsächlich Gäste aus Deutschland (, die gerne ihre Liegen über Stunden reservieren) und Österreich. Altersdurchschnitt gefühlt 55 bis 60, obwohl auch sehr gutes Angebot für Kinder, junge Erwachsene.

Nous n’avons pas beaucoup apprécié les deux jours passés dans cette hôtel car le personnel n’était pas du tout aimable ( pas de sourire, souffle et aucune explication, oubli les commandes au bar) la chambre pas du tout bien équipé ( pas de nécessaire pour faire le thé le café et dans un quatre-étoiles nous estimons que c’est le minimum ) et la nourriture médiocre ( aliments sans saveurs, table pas dressées et aucun serveur ne vientnous voir pour nous commander des boissons)

Pour nous c'est un hôtel 5 étoiles *****. Nous avons adoré l'emplacement et nous avons été traité avec beaucoup de soins. Le service était inégalé. Je le recommanderais sans hésitation.

Schönes Hotel mit Komfort

Es hat alles wunderbar geklappt. Das Personal ist bemüht und vor allem im Spa- Bereich wird man verwöhnt. Das Zimmer wurde jeden Tag geputzt. Sowohl das Frühstücksbuffet als auch am Abend gab es eine große Auswahl an Essen- manchmal war es leider nur mehr lauwarm. Der Lärm von der Straße ist laut, sodass wir am Weihnachtsabend viel Lärm hatten.

Mein persönlicher Eindruck

Das Hotel sowie die Zimmer waren im modernen Stil und macht den Eindruck eines 4Sterne Hotels.
Man sollte jedoch kein Zimmer nach hinten hinaus nehmen, da hat man Aussicht auf die Solar- und Klimaanlage des Hotels - nicht sehr einladend.
Das Essen entspricht eher einer 2Sterne Kategorie mit Massenabfertigung. Geschmacklich eher wie in einer schlechten Betriebsküche.
Die Zimmer werden nicht ordentlich sauber gemacht, manches Mal spart man sich auch einen Tag und macht nur schnell die Betten. Wer gerne ein Hotel am Strand haben möchte, ist hier fehl am Platze. Ein schöner Strand ist ca. 10 Min. mit dem Auto entfernt. Dafür ist das Hotel nahe dem Zentrum, das man zu Fuß erreichen kann.

Buono ma da migliorare

La struttura e' molto bella: e' tutto nuovo, la camera un po' piccola ma confortevole, il letto molto comodo. La posizione e' molto buona: davanti al mare e vicinissimo al centro di Rab.La cucina internazionale, e' varia , ma migliorabile ( pasta scotta,dolci quasi mai buoni,il capuccino ho dovuto prendere sempre quello al bar a pagamento perche' quello del buffet era imbevibile )Il servizio al tavolo migliorabile: per far ordinare le bibite spesso ho dovuto chiedere più volte ai camerieri...se ne dimenticavano..La pulizia delle camere buone , ma anche qui il servizio non buono:diverse volte l'addetta delle pulizie ha lasciato il copriletto per terra, non ci ha messo il tappeto per il bagno ,e ha portato via tutti gli asciugamani senza metterci quelli puliti. Comunque lo consiglierei, sperando migliorino nei servizi e nella cucina

vecchio albergo a due passi dal mare

Rab è sicuramente una meta interessante: mare bello, il paese è carino e vitale, ma evitate l'hotel Padova la struttura è vecchia e non pulitissima, la cucina banale con piatti da mensa, le camere sono datate e piccole.
Il personale è cordiale e organizzano un minimo d'animazione serale.
Peccato per la struttura perché la posizione è bella e comoda.

Unser Urlaub war einfach ein Traum. Eine Bucht von der Stadt Rab entfernt und vom Balkon aus eine wunderschöne Aussicht auf eben diese. Auch mein 3jähriger hatte sehr viel Spaß am Pool. Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt und das Buffet sehr umfangreich.

hotel mit Flair und guter Lage

tolle lage, in 2min.mit taxiboot in die altstadt oder zu fuss in ca 15 min.tolle Aussicht vom balkon des zimmers auf rab.schoener pool mit bar.essen ist auch gut, leider ist der essenssaal drinnen und keine Möglichkeit im freien zu sitzen. Zimmer sind etwas in die jahre gekommen aber dennoch sauber und gemütlich. Insgesamt empfehlenswert.

Das Gebäude und die Einrichtung sind für diese Klasse in Ordnung aber nicht mehr.
Das Frühstückbüffet war genügend, aber nicht gerade üpping. Der Kaffee absolut grauslig; kein Wunder dass sich die Angestellten Ihren an der Bar holten.
Das Personal machte einen eher unzufriedenen Eindruck, das sind wohl noch die Nachwehen der komunistischen Zeit.
Wir hat das Pech ein Zimmer an der Seite des Gebäudes zu bekommen. Hier gibt es zwar eine schöne Aussicht, aber die Gäste des benachbarten Gasthauses brachten Abends viel Lärm mit sich. Die Zimmer mit den Nummeren x12 bus x16 sind also nicht zu empfehlen.
Das Hotel liegt ideal um Rab in rund 10 Minuten zu Fuss zu erreichen.

Klasse Hotel!

War bereits zum zweiten Mal im Padova zu Gast. Das erste Mal lag aber bereits 6 Jahre zurück. Seit dem hat sich einiges getan, vor allem am Poolbereich. Dieser ist sehr umfangreich und schön angelegt. Aber wie es immer so ist, wenn vor allem deutsche Urlauber zu Gast sind, müsste man schon um 7 Uhr Liegen mit Handtüchern reservieren. Um 9 Uhr habe ich leider keine mehr bekokmmen. Aber das ist kein Padova Problem. Essen hätte etwas abwechslungsreicher sein können und evtl. etwas einheimische Gerichte. Hier wurde wirklich sehr \"deutsch\" gekocht. War zwar alles geschmacklich sehr gut, nur hätte ich mir hier andere Gerichte gewünscht. Die Zimmer waren sehr schön eingerichtet, mit allem was dazu gehört. Klimaanlage, Fernsehr, Kühlschrank usw. Leider gab es noch einen Negativpunkt. Am zweiten Tag saßen wir zu zweit auf dem Balkon und unterhielten uns in normaler Lautstärke. Kurz darauf schrien deutsche Urlauber vom unterem Balkon nach oben, dass nun endlich Ruhe ist( 23 Uhr). Kurz darauf rief die Rezpetion an mit bitte um Ruhe. Wieder kurze Zeit später stand ein Mitarbeiter des Hotels vor der Tür und drohte mir mit der Polizei. Also so etwas geht einfach nicht. Man muss einfach damit rechnen sich Abends auf dem Balkon nicht mehr unterhalten zu können, wenn empfindliche Nachbarn (die vermutlich um 7 Uhr das Handtuch auf die Liege legen) sich beschweren. Dazu wurde seitens des Hotels sehr schlecht mir gegenüber reagiert. Trotzdem alles in allem ein gelungener Urlaub, mit Empfehlung.
