Staff was very friendly and helpful. Rooms are very dated, but parts are renovated. Bathroom was updated and clean as were sheets and towels. Beds were not very comfortable and the mattresses & box springs looked like they were at least 20+ years old. Water was hot.
Curtains were very stained with hundreds of tiny holes and the carpets had questionable stains. The air conditioner worked well to keep the room cool and you didn't have to worry about the train noise over the constant roar of the a.c. We didn't use them, but there was a fridge & microwave in the room. The motel was completely booked the night we were there. We just needed a bed & shower while passing thru so it worked for 1 night.

I will say that my rating of this place is higher that what I would normally rate this kind of place because the owners were very nice and very sweet people. I was on a long drive back for a move driving up from Albuquerque, NM and after 15 hours just needed a place to crash. If that is all you are needing and wanting in a place then this place can be good for you. The only thing was with my room there was a strong odor when I initially walked in but overtime my nose adjusted.

You get what you pay for. The room was inexpensive for one night in town. It was clean for the most part, but you can see and smell how old and outdated everything is. The sink and bathroom were the only things updated. The AC unit we had, had a big whole in it and we didn't dare turn it on. Furniture as also in disrepair, carpet had stains everywhere. One bed had extra blankets and padding while the other didn't. At least the beds felt clean.
The staff was very kind and check-in was very fast. Plenty of parking. This place desperately needs an update, but if you need a very quick place to rest your head for cheap, probably okay.

Very good bed with two pillows. The AC/heat unit worked well. There were plenty of electrical outlets. Lighting was good.
We checked in late and were not settled in the room until 10pm. There was no hot water. There was hot water in the morning.
The sink was great looking but not very functional - it was difficult to turn on the water without it splashing all over the counter because the basin was too small for the faucet style. The tub and toilet area was nice but had a pocket door that was difficult to move and did not close all the way.
The room was noisy - talking and footsteps of the neighbors next door and overhead were clearly heard until after 11pm and they were not stomping or shouting.
Bottom line: because of the noise and lack of hot water, I would not stay here again.

An older motel that is a little worn but thoroughly clean and comfortable. Mini fridge is on the larger size with a freezer compartment that works. The gentleman who checked me in (likely the owner/ manager) was warm and welcoming, radiating kindness.

Was told upon checking in that even though I reserved a one bed room that I was getting a two bedroom and I Better only mess up one of the beds or else.
The shower was barely lukewarm. Not wonderful.
The heater was soo loud I couldn’t hear the television. It was not conducive to sleep.

My room had roaches

July 2025 Killed 3 roaches (-3 stars) in bathroom area as soon as walking into room. Saw 2 more in the morning. The room was pretty clean. The bed was not very comfortable. A little too hard for me. Had a mic and fridge. They had an ice machine, so I was able to fill my water container with ice. The check-in guy was kind and courteous. The area was quiet. The air conditioner worked well. We were just passing through and stayed for one night and the price was a lower cost than others.

There is a hole at the bath entrance, carpet only thing keeping you from falling through. Toilet seat 100 years old and falling apart, curtains have so many holes, looks like shotgun did it, door barely locks to the room. If I had not driven 950 miles and was dead on my feet I would have got my money back and went elsewhere. 3 out 100

As a warning to fellow fans of cheap motels: this place is FILTHY. Im talking about black mold, peeling wallpaper, decades old grime and dust on fixtures and heating unit filthy. Black stuff coming out of shower drain when using bathroom sink filthy. Ripped carpets, cigarette holes the size of quarters on blankets, and mysterious brown stains caked on walls and mattress filthy. After traveling a long distance it was too late to find another place to stay - don't let this happen to you!

I really liked Justin. He was professional and very courteous. He provided the right room for my needs (downstairs and accepted my pet).

I didn't like the room because the air conditioner heater made constant noise, more than a little. The door was not the best for security. The toilet seat had been there so long the paint was wearing off and the general condition of the room was run down. For all that the price was right and it was clean. It was a bed for the night in an aging motel. All I needed.

We checked in towards evening, and really loved the nostalgia of this hotel with the sign and vintage style. It reminded my sister and I of family road trips cross country as kids. Our bathroom was an awesome pink that my 9 year old daughter thought was awesome! The managers were very friendly. And we loved that the pool was filled in with gravel and now looked like a patio area. In the morning, the motel tended to show its age a little more, but it was a quiet and great place to stay!
