Compared to other areas, the location is quite bleak and uninspiring. The overall set up i.e. having the apartments across the road from the reception / restaurant does not provide a welcoming, secure feel and results in a feeling of isolation. While the room was adequate and clean, the location on the second floor (with no lift) was very inconvenient. Also, the fact that pigeons were living in the roof space and were depositing excrement all over the hand rails / stairs significantly down grades this facility.

Wonderful French Coastal Experience
Wonderful experience close to all the WW2 sites we came to see. Tucked away approx 100 yards from the beach. 5 min walk to Juno Beach Centre. Small, comfortable and clean. Staff were very pleasant, and the breakfast was simple but fresh and filling.

We were driving, so parking was free and easy. Juno Beach was reason for visit and it's walking distance from hotel. Go to sleep with sound of waves, very peaceful. And food, supplies all within easy walk. Beach has promenade to walk on.

The part of the hotel that we stayed in set back from the road and was very private with safe and ample parking. The beach was across the street down a path. Restaurants were minutes away by foot and there were many to choose from.My only complaint was (typical of European Hotels) the room was small but that really didn’t matter as we were touring all day. The room we booked is advertised as a \"double room, garden view, annex building\" but unfortunately there are no windows and only a door to a tiny balcony for natural light - not much of a garden view. I would bet the designer of that room has never slept in a hotel for any length of time.

I booked 1 night thinking I’d be right next to the beach. Garden view is actually a separate cottage 300m 2 blocks away. Everything seems very recent and well renovated, very comfortable. I would not hesitate to go back however, it would be nice to know that the actual hotel location is not like on the map. I had dinner at the restaurant which is in the main building by the beach. It was quite good but service was a bit long and food was a bit pricey.

Many local folks and tourists seem to come to this hotel for dinner. I recommend it for dinner too, excellent food. The location is right on the beach. The only inconvenience is access to certain rooms, which has to be through the restaurant, which is really weird, especially when I had to take my dog out and had to squeeze between the tables. Recommended otherwise.

You need to know where the rooms are; on the map, it looks right on the beach, and the rooms have sea views. However, when they say “Côté jardin”, it’s another building, a few doors down and across the street. If you get a room on the second floor, there is no elevator so be aware. These are just practical tips, don’t let it scare you away. The place was great, still mere metres from the beach, very clean, the breakfast was nice, the staff is excellent. Make sure to try their restaurant, it is great. We had a family room, with twin beds in a loft, which the kids loved.

My colleague was in a room with a loft, the other had a room with a little garden. We reserved dinner as well and liked how engaging the waiter was. I do speak fluent French which made interactions much smoother.

The location of the rooms in the hotel is ideal. Right overlooking the beach with great views. Be careful because I think they also own a property just off the beach called the residences which will not have ocean views. The room was very spacious, tidy, and comfortable and the bathroom was modern and updated and clean. The arrangement is a little odd-- one checks in at the restaurant desk and walks through the restaurant diners to get up to the rooms. No elevator, you'll be lugging suitcases up multiple staircases. The stairwell and at times the room itself smelled odd-- like seafood or other smells wafting up from the kitchen below. The first night of our stay it was cool outside, so we closed the windows while we slept and the smells in the room that accumulated from below were terrible. So, windows open the next two nights. There is no AC, but even in July we were okay. We did have a little portable fan with us. The area around the hotel is lovely and lively.

If your goal is to tour the Normandy beaches (the hotel is located on Juno) this is the perfect choice. The superior beach front room large actually a suite with that would be excellent for an extended stay. The restaurant overlooks the beach and it has a good selection and was extremely popular.Highly recommend and I would certainly return

The rooms were spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the ocean. It was down the street from reception which was odd. Seems like they are buying surrounding g homes and renovating them to hotel suites. The restaurant was top notch. Amazing food and service. Saw a few seafood platters that were outstanding. Breakfast buffet was good but should be served until 11am for checkout time.

My sisters and I wanted to visit Juno Beach (as Canadians) - we chose this hotel online. We were pleasantly surprised at how bright and clean it was, all brand new. Wonderful views of the Channel- very close to all the places we wanted to see, day trips to Bayeux etc. Lovely dinner overlooking the beach.

Location is interesting if you are interested in the Normandy beaches, esp. Juno Beach (Canadian landing). the Juno beach centre is nearby and is interesting, but limited. Good beaches for sunbathing.
Important to know that most tourists there are french-speaking and most staff do not speak English. Check in was by a fluent English speaker, but nobody else we dealt with spoke English. They were generally willing to help with my not-great French, but people with no French should be aware.

Pros: Refurbished within the last couple of years so in good condition. Also comfortable. Excellent location just across the road from the beach, and far off the main road. Good car parking, nice to have own patio area. Good breakfast.

Beautiful location on the beach. Clean and modern room. No check in clerk. We arrived st dinner time and there was no place to park and staff was busy to show us our room.

We had one of the new rooms across the road from the main hotel. The room was very nice but we were on the ground floor and could hear the water being flushed from the rooms upstairs. Also no English channels on the Television.

A gem of a good hotel
Most, if not all, of the bedrooms seem to be located in annex buildings which are one street back from the main sea front, but what you might lose in sea view you certainly gain in terms of a peaceful and secluded location with gardens for relaxing, and very easy access to the beach if you want it. Breakfast is a typically French buffet, taken in a breakfast room, or in the garden if you prefer. Dinners beautifully cooked, well presented, plenty of choice a la carte and on menus, and a reasonably priced wine list too - you can dine in the open air terrace or indoors (but reserve a table if you need the sea view while you're eating!)

We stayed in the Garden View building 200 feet from the restaurant and just off the beach on the main street. Small rooms, typical of Europe, modern, clean, quiet neighborhood, walk to many restaurants, supermarket. The breakfast (12 euro) was very good. Check in was hurried, but easy. Parking in the lot fills quickly at night, but was easy to find parking on the main street. A very safe area.

To get to our room, we had to walk through the 5-star restaurant and climb a narrow set of stairs. Sort of awkward with luggage and the diners staring at you. Also, the hallways and stairs use a timed lighting system. I was left in the stairway in the dark twice, once with luggage.

Our Family stayed here during our visit to Juno Beach in Courseulles - sur - Mer while we toured the Beaches of Normandy and the Canadian Battlefields and Cemeteries. Hotel staff was excellent as well as the onsite restaurant overlooking the sea. Ease of parking adjacent to hotel and great location. Staff both at hotel and restaurant went out of their way to accommodate.

We were surprised to find the Garden Annex was situated 100 metres away down an alley which was a disappointment.
BUT !!! This was a really great holiday in a loverly place with so many seafood restaurants a fresh fish market serving the local boats with the most amazing choice. So Fresh, So Cheap, delicious and quality food from the best to the work like establishments.
Try the place opposite the line of market stalls at the end where the port x over bridge is situated they will cook & serve the fish you chose with a local wine or other drink almost as cheap as taking home to cook yourself.
Enjoy this treasure of North West France which just happens to be next to Juno Beach the 1st place liberated on D Day by the Canadian troops who were so brave make sure you wander thro the dunes and gun emplacements Least We Forget

We weren’t expecting much as the room was very reasonably priced and the location is excellent. How ever once in the room it was large and very well organized. All the furniture was nice. The bathroom and toilet were very clean. We had a great seating area as well as our rooms for a comunial area. We had a family room, so one double bed in one room and then 3 singles in another room.

Beware - this was a 'bait and switch.' The hotel is not the one advertised. It is a separate building all together about 1/2 mile down the road and not directly on the beach (but close). Our room had no windows or AC and was very hot in the balcony where the kids slept (even with the balcony door open).
