A basic hotel with basic rooms with some notable problems and some nice features. Negatives: When checking in, the man at the front desk was leaning back in his chair and having a personal conversation with a friend. He did not acknowledge me for at least 1 1/2 minutes and when he did, there was no smile or warmth. He went on to struggle with the checkin so another man came to help and quickly checked us in, with the first man saying to us, \"It's my first day here\", with a deadpan delivery. No one offered to help us with our multiple bags. The room had a heating/AC unit right next to one of the two beds and we could not stop it from blowing full force. The tub/shower had mold along its edges. Positives: The continental breakfast that was included in the price was decent and the staff was responsive to questions and in supplying missing items. They accept dogs, but charge an extra $40.

The lobby of the hotel was welcoming and functional. Room was clean and comfortable however the shower and sink were not within a closed bathroom and were in great need of an update. No counter space was available. The shower was not functional and the tub/shower was difficult to get in and out of. In addition, an exterior door was available within the room with direct access to the back outdoor parking however we could not enter from this door since our hotel keys did not work, this was inconvenient.

This hotel said they were under new management which i would say need a lot of work. Very disapointed in the WIFI which clearly cannot accomadate a full hotel. It was so bad that i had to hotspot out of my phone which was a lot better.
They have a pool, but it is very small and with restricted hours due to no staff.
Many little repairs still need to be done that are very apparent ( walls damage, lack of painting)
For the cost of over $200 a night you can due better.

We ordered a suite through Expedia. Received a room with one queen and offered a cot. We were charged for a suite and not given an invoice at the end of our stay. We have not been able to speak to anyone concerning this issue as the hotel said it was Expedia’s responsibility .

Our room had air conditioner parts all over the floor. Marilyn (reception) was very dismissive about it. Also bathroom counter had dirt on it that I cleaned up. Tub had many areas of mold on it. I do have photos. I asked for a different room but was told nothing was available. I asked for a refund and she said she couldn’t. This all took a lot of time as the reception line took 1/2 hour each time. I told her I would escalate the issue, then we went for dinner. Someone entered our room and put the parts back together. Do not recommend this hotel.

THis motel is strategically located, plenty of parking space, close to restaurants and other forms of business, and its not close to highway, hence, very quite. We don't hear the traffic.
The continental breakfast was ok to start your day and everything was fresh, good to start you day.

Une place à éviter à tout prix!!

À l'arrivée, il n'y a personne. J'ai attendu 3-4 minutes, suis allée à la toilette et revenue à une réception déserte! J'ai dû chercher pour trouver la personne de l'accueil. Lors de ma réservation, le site indiquait que la piscine était ouverte et fonctionnelle, comme au moment de me présenter à l'hôtel. À l'enregistrement, après avoir montré ma carte de crédit et signé la feuille de règlements, je constate une feuille collée au comptoir indiquant l'horaire de la piscine qui indique ''fermée pour la journée''! La piscine était LA raison de notre choix. La dame à la réception me dit que c'est dû au fait qu'ils n'ont pas de sauveteur en service et que c'est comme ça dans TOUS les Wyndham! Je voyage beaucoup dans les hôtels et je sais que c'est faux ce qu'elle affirme. Je l'avise immédiatement que je veux annuler ma réservation puisqu' ils ne sont pas en mesure de respecter celle-ci! Elle téléphone à son supérieur, qui lui dit de m'informer qu'elle ne pouvait rien faire cette journée-là, car elle n'était pas à l'hôtel, et de lui parler le lendemain au moment de quitter! J'ai refusé et contacté Hotels.com qui m'a donné raison et qui a tenté de raisonner avec l'hôtel et de m'émettre un remboursement, mais en vain. Hotels.com m'a ensuite encouragé à faire une plainte à Visa, ce que j'ai fait. J'ai envoyé un message à l'hôtel sans retour à ce jour! Merci à Shakti de Hotels.com pour son excellent service!! Allez au Château Roberval pas trop loin, le service est excellent!!

No plug for the bath tub and very, very, very loud all day and particularly at night. Several sports teams were in residence and were clogging the hallways day and night. Parents standing around drinking coffee and gossiping and letting their kids play floor hockey in the hallways. We informed front desk, and they came up once, but situation didn’t change. Constant ball noise, kids climbing the snowbanks in back at dawn and screaming. Breakfast included was meagre and unappetizing. Might be okay if not inundated by screaming teenagers and gossiping parents, but it’s a stretch. Will absolutely not stay again.

La chambre etait tres confortable, mais manque de service au niveau du personnel qui nous on pas fourni assez de serviette et débarbouillettes, fallu aller demander a 2 reprises des serviettes, car il nous en avait pas donner et ce meme a notre premiere demande. Bien que nous fûmes bien accueillis à la réception, la carte de la chambre qu'on nous a donnée (105) ne fonctionnait pas; je suis retournée pour en demander deux nouvelles qui n'ont pas fonctionnées non plus et le réceptionniste est venu nous ouvrir la porte par l'intérieur. Nous étions tout trempés ainsi que nos bagages, car il pleuvait à boire debout. Le lendemain, nous avons appris que les clés ne fonctionnaient JAMAIS pour cette chambre ! De plus, le matin, il n'y avait pas d'électricité ! Donc, j'ai pris ma douche à l'eau froide à la lueur de mon cellulaire. Pour le petit-déjeuner inclus, nous avons eu droit à du jus et des yogourts seulement et pas de café, bien sûr, puisqu'ils les font à la pièce ! On s'est fait répondre qu'ils n'avaient pas de contrôle sur Hydro-Québec !!! Malgré que ce soit une belle chambre confortable, déjà une porte qui ne s'ouvre pas, cela ne vaut pas le prix que nous avons payé et n'est en rien comparable aux chambres du Parc Octopus à Desbiens à 15 km de là !!!

Woke up with bed bug bites on my cheek and hand. It was noisy because the first night sleeping there, the neighbour next door was partying. After calling the receptionist, but had to use my cell phone to call the hotel because they didn’t answer using the phone in the room. The neighbour tried to pry open room door and hitting the door.

Ac unit is making more noice then a truck. White wine left inside the fridge. Never seen an hotel where the person at the entrance has to collect the garbage at the dinning area.
Overall, i saw some beautiful pictures that dosent reflect what i seen there on the spot. WIll choose another hotel next time.

Second day one bed of the two made and 2 towels missings. When to tell them and they gave me two towel and noted the bed bot made
Day tree room not even made . No towel.
In the morning when to talk to the manager. He said that if i whanted the room to be made i needed to put the sign on the knob of the door like the do not disturb sign. Thats weird i said nobody told me that and why half the room was made. He said that the owner is gomna call me. But guest what no im sorry and nobody caled me.

Le staff de l’hôtel était vraiment super, sauf le dimanche matin pour le déjeuner.. À 9:00 déjà il n’y avait presque plus rien, les déjeuners sont supposés ce faire jusqu’à 11:00 et malgré les demandes des gens pour renflouer le stock, rien à faire…le samedi la fille était vraiment sur la coche, c’était propre et la nourriture était pleine tout le temps, elle en remettait à mesure. Pour la propreté juste correct! Des poils et cheveux sur les oreillers..qui en plus étaient ma foie zéro confortable, par contre du moment qu’on demande à l’accueil on en avait des nouvelles donc c’est ok. Confort de la chambre, correct aussi, vraiment pas cher donc on ne chialera pas, pour le prix, c’était bien.

Après avoir attendu 45 minutes pour notre chambre nous afin pu rentrer ( grâce à abygaël ) et réaliser qu’il y avait des cheveux dans le lit et sur comptoir de la salle de bain! La femme de ménage n’est même pas passé … Le déjeuner très décevant aussi.. on nous a même pas offert de rabais pour l’attente…

Seemed like the cleaning lady was in a rush and didnt thoroughly clean the room. Soiled duvet covers, dirt in the sheets, and no towels in restroom. We asked if there was another room and the lady working up front was nice enough to give us another room but it was the same as our first room with the addition of 6 or 7 large flys. I usually like this brand of hotel but dont think ill be staying at this particular one anytime soon.

Les murs ne sont pas fini, la bâtisse est vieille et manque d’amour. il y avait des mouches partout. Dans la chambre, le tout semblait très propre, mais le comptoir était taché. C’est vieux. Au moins le plancher était refait en bois flottant et les draps semblaient neufs. La toilette a fait un gros bruit alternatif toute la nuit. Comme si quelqu’un ouvrait la champlure d’eau à chaque 5 minutes. Une chance que nous avions bu du vin au souper dans les rues, ça nous à aidé à nous endormir. Je n’y retournerai pas.

Nous avons bien été notre cours séjour. La réception était en rénovation, mais ça arrive. Le personnel lors du check-in/check-out aurait pu être plus amicale.

La chambre était rénové au goût du jour. Malgré le froid à l'extérieur, nous étions bien au chaud dans la chambre. Notre chambre était propre et nous avons bien dormi. C'était tranquille.

On ne s'est pas baigné, car l'air ambiante à la piscine était froide.
