This hotel was very clean and staff was amazing. I gave it a 3 star because you have to call for an iron and hair dryer, they are not in room. I also did not like the fact there was no heater, fan or ac in the rooms and I like circulating air to sleep. Breakfast was good you can ask them to make you fresh eggs. Everyone was very nice and this hotel was super clean. I recommend if your okay with the no circulating air.

Every time we took a shower, the carpet outside the bathroom got wet creating a slipping hazard. The employees knew about the room having the issue and they did nothing.

Unfortunately Ambato does not have a great deal of selection when it comes to hotels. Having stayed in various other hotels in Ambato, myself and colleagues had great expectations of the Hotel Ambato given the significantly higher price point and Expedia rating. The hotel lacked standards of any kind.
Rooms - Not hygienic, bed stained and ridden with hairs, aged décor and facilities and sticky-to-the-touch carpets.
Food - Hygiene levels were appalling, glassware stank of stale water and food was inedible.
Staff - Highly experienced but friendly.

Para mi sorpresa 7:30am me llaman a la habitación a pedirme nuevamente el secador de pelo. Personalmente fui por trabajo y necesitaba descansar lo cual se vio afectado por lo que comentó anteriormente. A más de que hay un sonido constante de algún aparato en todo el piso 2.
