This hotel is located in Male. (Busy Area). Very convenient. It is near the ferry station and the airport. It is perfect if you are traveling under budget because you can visit the Maldives islands from the ferry terminal in a daily basis. Rooms are not too big but they are clean, cozy and comfortable. Staffing is very helpful. Breakfast is good. You can choose different meals. Transportation is absolutely good. They pick you up and drop you off totally free. They let you take the car (Van) if you need to go to the airport-ferry terminal too. Driver and the girl that met me at the airport were very kind. If you are solo traveler and don't want to expend your money at the resorts, I highly recommend this hotel for you.

Yes, small rooms. Door key in broke 3 times. The elevator is equally small and always in use, by staff too (no freight elevator). Or you ca take the small stairway.

Good location for quick stop over on way to airport early next day. Room was very small and cramped. Suggest remove the chair or get a smaller chair that can be pushed under the desk. Doubt anyone uses it for business to work on. This will give it a bit more space.

Very tight room..the hotel is built with very little space..not worth it for the price they want. Minibar had a biscuit which I ate assuming it was complimentry becuase it was put with tea leaves and they charged $5.13..rediculors. If they really hungary for money, they should beg rather then charge excessive amount for a biscuit.

This is a very convenient property for anyone staying in Male for a night or longer. (I would recommend staying long enough to see a bit of this very nice, interesting city.) The staff are very friendly and helpful, the airport pickup/drop off service is very convenient, breakfast is excellent, and the location can't be beat. Because of the great location, however, the tradeoff is street noise. Also note that the standard room is definitely not large enough for two...unless you're small people with little baggage? It was well equipped, though.

Arriving in Male late after delays my transfer was waiting, it was pouring rain so much so we needed to wait for the car to have a space so we could get in with out getting drenched. I was taken care of from the moment i was pocked up and due to an early morning sea plane i was even treated to a packed breakfast to take to the sea plane terminal. Great dtay overnight between my flight and resort. As a lone female traveller i felt safe through the whole process.

Excellent hotel for a short stay upon arrival in Maldives and before embarking on a dive trip elsewhere in the country. Rooms are small but comfortable. The location is convenient; only a short drive from the airport and with in walking distance of the ferry terminal. With free airport transfers and breakfast included in the price, the hotel offers excellent value for money.

The staff were very polite and really made for a pleasant stay. There were a few problems with the physical facilities: the overhead shower rain didn’t work and I had to place towels around the shower because the stall leaked even when the shower doors were closed.
The property was very noisy from outside activities. There were soccer games across the street until very early in the morning, I believe until about 0100. There was always some noise flooding my room. Was manageable with earplugs.

The only complaint I had was that I booked my stay till Saturday, but was changed to Friday afternoon. Don't know what happened because My flight was leaving Saturday and was locked out of my room on a Friday. Had to talk with the staff to correct what went wrong which took longer than expected. Summer Beach in Male was a great experience. The best part was the balcony facing the Indian Ocean and beach. Although our stay was short, we were able to explore the city of Male and come back to a nice, clean, and safe room at Summer Beach. We also tried the restaurant on the top floor which was a pleasurable experience. Food was good. One con I would state is that we asked the night before that our breakfast be packed for us since we had a early flight, however, we never received our breakfast and realized when we were already at the airport. Lastly, when we were sleeping, the power light on the A/C was so bright in the dark that we had to cover our faces when sleeping.

I cannot recommend summer beach enough. My stay with them was beyond any service I’ve received anywhere. The room was clean, and comfortable, the food excellent, the hotel is well located and easy to access anywhere in the city. The staff are incredibly kind and helpful. They called to help arrange with my next hotel’s shuttle. And when I arrived my bag had been lost by the airlines. I had a liveaboard boat booked, and couldn’t wait. They helped me find where to look for clothing I would need in the mean time, and worked with the liveaboard to arrange to collect my baggage when it turned up and got it to me. Special shout out to Avril who was my hero in making everything go smoothly and ensured I worried for nothing. Incredible. I can’t recommend them highly enough!

Pick up and drop off from airport was smooth. Room was clean and small with limited space to put space, but enough for one night before going to our resort. They also provided us with breakfast on the go. It is a little loud from the outside, but I was still able to sleep through it.
