The staff were all lovely. Our room was facing the water and that was a great perk. It’s a bit away from the downtown area but it’s one of the bike and scooter stops so we enjoyed that. We will stay here again!

Ideal location, could walk into downtown area and parking available at the site. We were there in late October, the parking and proximity to the downtown must be absolutely worth their respective weights in gold in peak summer season.

The hotel is not new which one look at the picture will tell everyone, and our room, although smallish, was perfectly functional, but it is well run, and it is clear that the hotel takes a great and justified pride in running a clean, tidy hotel with marvelous view if you are on the beach side.

We would definitely come back here.

Surfside was perfect! All we had to do was park the car and after that explore Provincetown. The pier to go whale watching is only about 10 minutes walking distance and the area itself has plenty of restaurant options and great shops to check out. The entertainment during the evening hours was the best.

Great friendly service. Lighthouse cocktails in lounge with Steve were yummy! Worth the stop. Close to all the shops and pedicab service for those that don’t want to walk. Bike rentals and scooters available too. Right next to Fanizzi’s that serves delicious food. Great menu. The view is amazing! Beautiful sunrises! You can see the ferry coming and going, tides, fishing boats, and more. Pool still open and people are swimming, end of Sept! Peaceful and relaxing.

We had the best stay at Surfside Hotel & Suites. We booked a water front view and it was beautiful! It was so nice waking up each morning to the sunrise. The room was very nice and the shower was fantastic! It was very large and the water pressure was perfect. The room was very clean and they cleaned it daily and provided fresh towels. We loved this.

We also enjoyed that we were right on the beach and could easily walk down to enjoy it. The pool was also a nice ammenity and we spent a day relaxing by the pool. The hotel was also VERY dog friendly and we cannot wait to bring our pup in the future. He would absolutely LOVE it.

The only improvements would be the morning breakfast (which I think was very limited due to construction but still worked out just fine) and the air conditioner was a bit noisy. The AC did look brand new but would turn on and off many times throughout the night when it \"reached its temperature \" but made it a bit hard to sleep. I got used to it by a few nights in but just something to be aware of. It did not ruin my stay at all.

Overall, we absolutely LOVED our stay and cannot wait to go back next year. We had the best time and made so many great memories.

Our favorite place. We never miss it. We love the beach front, the pool, the deck/patio and the fire pit. Huge free parking lot is very convenient. Walkable to all dining options but located in a quiet part of Ptown. Very dog friendly!!

I almost like all the personnel and the place was clean and quiet. The pool was supposed to be heated and it was not (or realy not enought 73 degrees)
It was very very important for us and we rent at this place for this reason. ☹️ the cleaner men forgot many little things all the time. We have to go for get the things.
We have nice weather and the beach was clean and we have enought chairs.
I dont thing we will rent over there next time.

They are in the middle of a remodel so office was in a room along with Continental breakfast which is good for 3 people max (basically a hallway, grab n go) being the only reason for a 4 Star.

We were not told of property construction going on that eliminated the front office, bar, restaurant, and easy access to pool. There are large free standing storage units in the parking lot, which I heard have been there for years. It said breakfast was available to include eggs etc and it was not. Store bought muffins were available in the makeshift ‘front office’. Rooms need total updating to include the old very loud AC units which kept us awake at night. The small beach on the property was nothing like it was pictured online. There was a lot of seaweed and loungers were thrown about. Our cleaning person was excellent. Pool area was nice. If I had known about the construction occurring, I would have booked elsewhere for the 500 per night we paid. We were never offered any discount for this big inconvenience. Will not stay again.

Great stay at Surfside. Friendly staff aiming to please. This area is quieter than other parts of Ptown which was great but a little further to walk to Town when weather is very hot and humid. Pool area with plenty of Umbrellas and loungers and option of small beach with loungers across the street is ideal. Although they say all day coffee if you are an early riser would recommend to bring your own coffee maker .Coffee maker in room was inadequate...( should have been a Keurig at that price point) Office and coffee opens at 8am...good to know. Place was clean and room was spacious enough. Some current construction was inconveniently planned for height of season but will be well worth it in the end..

We had a great time, and loved being able to have our dogs with us. At check though, we were told that we would be unable to leave the dogs in the room unattended - but it clearly states on the website that they were allowed. Threw a wrench into our plans a little but no big deal we were able to bring them with us. I mentioned it at check out - and the employee then told us that that is not the case, and we shouldn't have been told that. Anyways - location is great, close to the water and town center. Beautiful beach.

Beautiful view from the bay front balconies. The pool was large and clean with a real deep end. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The hotel was under construction which affected the lobby. Be aware that if you are staying in the waterfront building, you will need to drag your suitcases down an alleyway.

This is a large property with access to a small beach and the bay right out the door. They also have a large supply of poolside chairs, umbrellas,; tables etc . I was pleasantly surprised. There's a daily breakfast snack available with muffins, juices, milk tea, and coffee. It's a long walk to the city center, but it couldn't be more pleasant with views of the bay, quaint houses, art galleries, and places to eat. I would definitely stay there again.

We should have been notified that the resort was compromised do to a structural issue. 2/3 of place was shut down. The breakfast was just microwave items and the coffee for all in the make shift lobby(hallway) was a small Mr. coffee machine. The shower products were either low or empty.

We had a nice room overlooking the bay. Our room was lovely and not outdated. The folks working the desk were nice as well, but be aware you will be charged a “resort fee” even though most of the amenities are unavailable. the “heated pool” is not heated, and they will recommend visiting a “sister hotel” roughly 1.5 miles away. the hotel bar is currently condemned and closed to the public. the very nice fire pit was also closed. Our stay was fine, i’m just not sure what the “resort fee” was for if none of the amenities were available.

Great place to stay right on Cape Cod Bay

We really loved the Surfside Inn. The staff were really friendly at check-in and throughout our three-night stay. We had a room two queen beds overlooking the beach, and it was really nice to hear the surf. The room was comfortable and clean, and the free grab-and-go breakfast had food for my kid with gluten, soy, and dairy allergies. It was also in easy walking distance of retaurants, shops, and art galleries. The weather was a little too cool for us to swim in the pool, but we enjoyed walking on the beach. I would definitely stay here again!

We upgraded our rooms to the Pilgrims Landing apartment following your suggestion, and it couldn't have been more perfect. The location was prime, within walking distance to downtown and right on the beach. The kitchen, living room area, balcony, bathroom, and bedrooms in the apartment were spacious for the 6 of us. Hotel staff and management (Aleks & Steve) were extremely accommodating and friendly. We can't wait to come back!

Quick overnight trip to Ptown . Brought the dogs. They charge an extra $43 EACH dog. Hotels.com lists dog bowls on their app, but you actually have to pay an additional $13 a bowl, they are not included in the pet fee- misleading.
Can’t beat the location. Balcony right over the beautiful ocean. Can walk to everything or catch the little shuttle bus for $2

Stealing is a crime but it happened at Surfside!

Stealing/theft is the worst problem I have encountered in my travels using Hotels.com. This is the second time in 2 years I had objects stolen.
My friends and I stayed at Surfside Inn and Suites in Provincetown from October 10 to October 16. We left several items behind inadvertently and advised the hotel the day we got home from our trip. We received all but the most expensive and desirable item. When we inquired again about the item, they said they found it and would send to us. As of this date, we have not received the item.
Surfside Inn should be held accountable and the thief should be fired immediately!

So the good thing is that the stuff were very helpful and kind. The place offer cute breakfast.
What is lucking is the cleanines and the attention to details in the room. The gel soap in the shower was empty, so is the conditioner. The coffee machine had only Decuf coffee (why is that?) and an old pad was still inside from previous attendees. The floor had sand (not from me) and there were stains on the bed sheet (disgusting). The washroom window was black from soot.

I thought the location was nice and made it easy to walk into town. I believe that's the only positive to staying here as it seems you're paying a hefty amount purely for location. We were in a very small room and on the first floor where people could walk right by our sliding glass door and see us unless we closed the blinds. Bathroom floor was dirty. Also felt like there was sand on the floor. We basically only went in the room to sleep as we did not want to spend any additional time inside due to the lack of space and overall cleanliness.

This was a last minute booking and many places were full. We enjoyed being able to walk into town and the rooms looked nice. We were really looking forward to the shower as it was a walk in and clean looking. However, the water was like warm for the first shower and cold for the second each morning. The noise at night was horrible if you have a room by the fire pit - noisy guests and thin walls made it feel like they were partying in the room. Hosts were nice and the breakfast sustained us for the walk to town. If you're in to partying good hotel - if you're looking for sleep after 11 try somewhere else.

We enjoyed our stay in Provincetown and the hotel kindly upgraded us to a waterfront view for our anniversary— such a sweet touch! The room was a bit dirty upon our arrival and we had a lumpy pillow or two, but the view was phenomenal and the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly throughout our stay.
