The rooms could use a lot of updating. When we first arrived, we were a little early. The front desk staff at the time quickly said you're early. If you want to check in, there's a fee. Once I agreed, she then said there were no rooms available. We left and returned. The room was not in good condition at all. The property manager did accommodate us to another room once I went back to the front office. The 2nd room was a little better. Because we were not staying in the area for a long period, not a full 24hrs. I was just trying to find something inexpensive but nice, for a little rest. Unfortunately, I got the less of a low cost deal. Hopefully, they will get better.

The lady in the lobby was tired from a long day and was not very talkative, was straight to the point of getting us checked in. When you walked into the room it smelled very clean . The bed was horrible, half the bed sunk and you could feel springs. They need new beds.They only provide you with one pillow per person.
Very close to a lot of restaurants and across the street from a grocery store. Uber Eats has a very hard time finding the place even though it’s in a main road. The community is sketchy, we stayed our one night and left early.

I called in the early afternoon of my check in date to advise the property of my late check in. It is all automated interaction. After 3 separate phone calls to reach a live person, I was advised that there would be a number posted on the door to call so someone would be able to check me in. I arrived at the property at 10:30PM. I called the number on the door, the person that I am assuming is the maintenance man came to get me checked in. After checking in, he was adamant about walking me to my room and taking my bags. Even after telling him multiple times, I got it, he was insistent.

A few bugs in the room, guy that checked me in was great, lady that was there when i went back to ask for towels was a little grumpy wanting to know why i needed towels so fast after checkin. Answer is there was none in the room. People that live there are a little questionable with a lot of traffic in the parking lot across the street to see a couple of men standing on the side walk

Was not what I expected at all. Pretty sure they photographed and advertised the only room that got renovated because mine was not like the pictures at all. Paint chipping, bugs, rust, just outdated. The phone in my room didn’t work. The office isn’t open 24/7 so I had to call an after hours number when my key stopped working. The check in process took forever for no reason. It was just one thing after another. I will never stay here again.

Zero stars. Our door was open on arrival, looks like someone had been in the room. There was dirt, clothing tags,and blood on the comforter. Bathroom sink had makeup all over it. There was food left in the fridge. Roaches all over. There was no heat or hot water. The door looked like it had been kicked in and there was sharp metals sticking out. The bed was blocked the bathroom door so it couldn't be closed.

If you want to stay the night in section 8, low income neighborhood then this is your place.
We pulled in and the people who live there is having a party inthe parking lot.
Drug deals was happening in yhe stairs and ladies of the night strung out on drugs walking around.
Not sure if I was worried more about being mugged or shot.

Reserved the room a month in advance, showed up an hour after the earliest check in time and they said I had to wait for a room to be cleaned. I came back in an hour and still no room comparable to the one I reserved. They showed me another room which was tiny and outdated. The area around the property was trashy, numerous units had people sitting in lawn chairs outside doing illicit things, and overall had a trashy feel. I do not recommend this place even though it is cheap.

This place looked ok until you got to your room. I had to giggle and lift the door handle to get it to shut. The bathroom door didn’t shut at all. The only thing that was decent about this place is it was clean. The parking lot has broken down vehicles and one of them had people sitting in it all hours of the day and night.

The office closed at 7pm and they tried to called me shortly after they closed to tell me they didn’t have any rooms available after I made a reservation. They said that because I booked through a third party site they did not guarantee a room. When I asked for a refund they suddenly had a room available.

They had the overnight security check me in when I arrived at 10pm after a wedding. The key card reader to my room did not work so the security guard had to let me in anytime I had to leave the room.

The floors of the room were dirty, there was no toilet paper, and though I requested a nonsmoking room it smelled horrendous.

There were other guests fighting outside of my room until 2am waking up everyone on that side of the facility.

They knew I only booked for one night and didn’t warn me that the office was closed on Sundays. I had to call the security line which referred me to another phone number who then sent me to escalations just to check out.

This stay was horrible and I will not be staying at my Red Roof or their affiliated hotels/motels ever again.

I recently stayed at HomeTowne Studios By Red Roof Gainesville, GA, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The highlight of my stay was the Terrance—it was absolutely awesome! Whether it was enjoying my morning coffee or unwinding in the evening, the terrace provided stunning views and a serene ambiance that truly enhanced my visit.

The staff was friendly and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Got to be ranked right at the lowest in memory.

In route we realized we would be late and tried to call. No answer.When we arrived the office was locked. There was a convenience phone near the door but it didn't work. There was a number to call on the door which I used to get them to admit us after about a 12 minute wait. Once in the room we found NO toilet paper. Not even the spindle. No soap. Only 1 garbage can. The toilet wouldn't flush! Not even just urine! The shower temp could not be adjusted cool enough to use. It was so hot we could barely hold our hand under it. The next day I reported this via the phone again. He said he would have it taken care of and gave me 1 roll of toilet paper that had been started and one that was half used. No new rolls. That night we returned to same thing super hot shower water, non flushing toilet. I was enough of a plumber to get the toilet to flush. I managed the shower by turning it on lowest/coldest setting and get in right away. I washed head and face quickly before it got to hot. We found the rest of the body will stand hotter water than your head. If we stepped in and out of the stream we were able to get showered.
The beds (especially one) had a big dip in them. The one was crazy big. I would call it a hole. Lastly the fridge was having some kind of problem because water was running out from under it.

It is a seemingly quiet place, we had to wait almost 1 hour to enter the room because the boy who was on duty did not have information about our reservation
The room was made, the more the floor was dirty
I was in this place for Hurricane Milton emergency, I drive 13 hours to get there, and not find anyone who received us late at night, I don't like to give bad opinions,I understand that each facility has its own rules and work organization but I also understand that they work for varied clients, in my case I have extensive knowledge of hospitality,,All I wish you is good luck, the lady of the office, very beautiful by the way, but very uncommunicative and friendly

The office closes at 7pm and doesn't open until 11am. Towels left lint on the skin. No pots, pans, plates, bowls, utensils to prepare food in the kitchenette. The water temperature in the shower would not adjust and it was scalding hot. Bed mattress was leaning. Air conditioner sounded like a freight train. Property was dirty and smelled like marijuana. Lots of foul mouthed folks hanging out outside their room doors.

Studios are very clean and comfortable, like a tiny home we had all we needed.
The bed and pillows were amazingly comfortable, fresh clean linens.

The building overall looked inconspicuous. There was a nice touch of small business vibe that I liked. The other tenants made me feel uneasy, especially with my wife around. This was confirmed by the police officer patrolling the parking lot, but it made me feel safer. Not bad for the price overall.

The elevator is broken. They will not tell you. I found out after checking in on a non refundable week long horrible experience. I had informed them of my service animal. So, i have a bad leg with a service dog and they put me on the top floor, next to furthest room from the steps. The toilet had to be fixed twice while i was there. The ac unit sounds like it is going to explode. I checked in friday, by sunday, i asked for an accessible room due to my leg or if i could get a refund for the remaining time so i could stay somewhere accessible for me, they did not have any, only offered on same floor or 1 lower...still steps, not accessible and never commented on the refund. Room 311 smells like killer drugs. Not family, disabled, or dog friendly. It is not as advertised. DO NOT STAY HERE...unless you are looking for bad vices.

Property was as expected. Price was major attraction. I flew in, stayed overnight, and checked out the next morning.
Problem was with reservations by Expedia. After making the reservation I was informed by Expedia that the full itinerary confirmation would be sent to me via email. I never got that itinerary. Went to the hotel and was told at the desk that they had no reservation on record. So I paid for the night directly to the hotel via my credit card. Next day I learned via my credit card that I was being charged twice for that room. Had a hell of a time over two days trying to get a refund from Expedia.

The worst possible conditions imagineable! Roaches in the stairway, Roaches in the room! Roaches in the bathroom! No shower curtain! Rotted flooring and aweful odor from the ac! Got musical chairs trying to get a refund. Gave up on the refund and left!!! Photos have to be from 15 years ago as the facility is run down.

The property seemed unsafe. I waited outside for over 30min to check in. There was a sign on the door for late check-ins. I called and a woman answered that she would be in the way. While I waited outside in the cold someone working there peaked through the blinds of the locked door but made no effort to acknowledge my presence. When I finally got inside, I was told that my reservation was canceled due to overbooking. I would never in a million years stay there again!!!

When we went to check in, they informed us that there were no rooms so we did not have a check in experience because we were never allowed to check in. They claimed they were about to call us but it was already after 3 PM and we were in town only for a wedding and needed to change and had to find accommodations elsewhere. recived call from motel a few hrs from checking in that they were canceling my 4 rooms due to no one was checking out that day , we were in route at the time we were called we were four soldiers from FT Gordon Ga on the way to an event we were told that there was no managers on duty they would not help us we had to look for rooms , we did conferm our rooms the night before and morning of our travel and were told we had room!!!!!!

Absolute worst!!!

Tracie was super nice when I checked in and nothing seemed out of the ordinary. The room was the absolute worst I’ve ever been in. For a non smoking room the bed had huge burn holes in the comforter, on the counters and floor. The window A/C unit had a trash can under the cord to catch the water that was dripping from it. There were holes in the ceiling and walls. The bathroom ceiling had been patched but never finished, there was mold on the ceiling, and along the base trim of the step in shower. There was water dripping from the bathroom ceiling and the room was full of flies and water bugs crawling around. After dark I didn’t feel safe with all the yelling, loud music, constant flow of traffic. It’s listed as a hotel but it is actually a long term housing facility which the cleaning people have other tenants in the rooms picking out what they wanted. The only one on the facility to wear a mask was the front desk and take note when they tell you their hours are 11am-7pm and security will be there after. There is a reason for security which I learned.
