We celebrated our anniversary with an overnight stay at the Towers & given the cost, had high hopes. The room was spacious & clean with a nice view but the service was sub par. The receptionist was neither friendly nor welcoming when we arrived & a different receptionist ignored us at checkout. The little things matter. There are many luxury hotels in the city & we’ll be staying at another next time.

The Towers are supposed to come with use of the hotel’s Maybach but they don’t tell you it is only one way. When we addressed this with the concierge he became very surly and blamed us for not asking. The service has certainly dropped over the last decade. We will not be returning.

Checked in to a double bed room. The check in was late, we waited in the hotel lobby for over an hour past 4pm. When we checked in the room was dirty, the counters had stains and the bed was haphazardly made. We noticed one bed was considerably lower and harder than the other, inavery uncomfotable way. I contacted house keeping and front desk to no avail, they passed me off between staff members some of who were extremely rude one told me that there are beds flagged to be replaced and there weren’t any other options available. This all took to 8:30pm when I called the front desk and waited for some help that never came, I went to the lobby where I was told that I could leave and that the manager was asking how soon we would vacate the room, this was as I stood in the lobby with my two young kids. When the manager Dianne came out of her office she acted surprised by what had transpired but offered no real help. She assured me they would not charge me but I still see the cost on my credit card bill so another item to follow up with them about.

Amazing stay! Staff was wonderful. We went for a long weekend to NYC! Location was perfect! Broadway and Times Square were very walkable, as was south part of Central Park. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Staff was very attentive and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Nice proximity to Broadway, fine dining and luxury shopping in midtown.

Be cautious of your stay coinciding with any large conferences, if you are staying in The Towers portion of the hotel. There are only two small elevators and it can be difficult to get an elevator timely.

UNIMAGINABLY RUDE hotel staff, who clearly have had no education, much less education in hospitality or communication. 100% assumed hotel guests were thieves, liars, or criminals of other sort; rather than the paying customers (or \"guests!\") they truly are. Tower King Room (1500.00/night) did not meet minimum expectation of clean, orderly, functioning hotel room: Rusty bathroom fixtures, pink mold on shower curtain, torn roman shades, askew black-out shades, non-functional electric blinds, non-functional electrical outlets, unusual stains on upholstery and carpet, mis-matched furnishings, broken (\"ripped out\") under-counter cabinetry, broken closet doors, struggling and loud water-hammer plumbing, etc (!!).

This hotel is truly 5 star and I wanted to rate it 5 star across the board however the gap between excellent and average from front desk personnel can’t be ignored. Norma and Rebecca are exceptional whereas their colleagues need to be retrained. Not very good at all.

The location is what makes this hotel great, as well as the beds and water pressure. Otherwise, our room had a mildew smell first day and the surfaces were not clean. We waited for our room to be ready and the elevator experience in the towers makes it unfavorable vs. desired over their other rooms. To be suggested as a luxury experience is a stretch. But the view is truly gorgeous.

The Towers at Lotte Palace is a very busy hotel. During the day time and early evening hours the lobby is crowded with people. As a result, it may take time to check in, or get baggage assistance and concierge assistance. Our receptionist, Melody was extremely helpful and courteous. She help make the stress situations go smoothly and always with a smile and kind words. Diego, one of the concierge was also courteous and super helpful.

Our corner suite was spacious and comfortable. The only negative items is 1. there were hardly any amenities provided. No coffee cups, coffee maker, hot pot, visitor guide book, etc. 2. the electric outlets in the room were worn out from over use. Loose connections and items plugged in would easily fall out. 3. only 2-elevators service the tower rooms, so wait times can be long during busy check out hours in the morning. Other than that the hotel is good and centrally located.

Best Midtown and Best Overall Hotel in Manhattan!

Amazing roomy suites in the Towers, get the corner suite with an incredible skyline view. We've stayed at all the top luxury hotels and The Towers is in a class by itself in my opinion. We will be back.

We loved our stay at the Lotte Towers! The rooms were very spacious for our family of 4. We were provided a fridge on request. The views were amazing. The lifts were quick to get us to the 58th floor! Our rooms were serviced twice daily. Cannot fault anything at Lotte would love to return one day!!

Staff made us feel so welcomed, comfortable, and practically like royalty. Room was very spacious compared to a typical hotel room. Plenty of closet space. Location was great. Close to shopping and a couple blocks from Metro. Walking distance to Times Square and Central Park.

For a 5 star hotel, the room showed quite of bit of wear and tear.

Hotel staff were very rude upon checking in. Had to wait over two hours past check in time. Was asked to leave a hotel lounge while waiting for room because they were having a private party. When asked where to go. Staff said if we buy alcohol we can stay in the hotel lounge. Had to go to restroom on the fifth floor because of private party only for people that were not even guests at the hotel. Was not able to eat at hotel restaurant as they were overbooked. The Pomme bakery did not have chocolate to make beverages such as hot chocolate or coffee drinks everything was sold out...long lines... again very rude staff... Our family stayed in the Towers and have stayed in the Palace in the past. The hotel service was subpar very rude and unprofessional. We had to handle our luggage to and from our room as well as bring our luggage outside and call an uber to return back to airport ourselves. Other hotel guests were upset as well. This could have been a Saturday Night Live skit... no joking... We will be staying at another hotel in the future. Don't waste your money staying here!!! So not worth it!!! Staff are too comfortable in their positions. Managment needs to be held accountable!!! What a shame this hotel has gone downhill in last two years.

This is a great place to say in Mid-Town. The towers start on the 45th floor. Ask for a room with one of the better views. Actually we thought for the size and quality of the room combined with the view, made this really good value.

This hotel is in the best location to EVERYTHING. The service is impeccable. The elevators in the Towers are a MAJOR problem. Even with use of the 3rd service elevator, had to sometimes wait 10 minutes for an open elevator. It was so bad it overshadowed much of the incredible service on behalf of the staff. The fact that none of the staff acknowledged or apologized for the elevators was irritating though.

In town for one night for a charity fundraiser. Location was great, but there was a large conference going on in the hotel at the time of our stay. Individual rooms were being used as breakout areas, elevators were packed, lobby was packed. Staff was overwhelmed. Based on the size of the conference, the hotel should’ve either been closed to other guest or guest should have at least been warned.

We were treated well and our room was a renovated one with an eastern exposure and a spectacular view from the 53rd floor. The blackout shade was a bit disheveled so it let in light in the morning and someone left the alarm clock on so it went off just before 6am and woke us all up. That was not pleasant. Aside from that we will definitely return next time we go see a show. So much more fun than driving in and back in the same night.

Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Elevators are speedy. Hotel is elegant and clean. Perfect room size for a family of 4. When we arrived early, we were notified that our room was ready early and allowed to gain access without additional fees. SUPER appreciated this since we’re tired from travel.
Location is convenient and walkable to many shops and restaurants including Central Park.
Would definitely stay again!

Everything went wrong from the get go, our room that was promised would be ready by 9 in the morning wasn’t ready until 1 hour 45 min after their check in time (3pm check in room was ready at 4:45 and not up to cleanliness standard). The mini bar was empty and filled with brown liquid on the bottom, the toilet ran for about an hour after any flush, stepped on a hard plastic nail (maybe carpet tack) so did they sweep or vacuum the room ? Alarm went off at 6 am because housekeeping never turned it off from previous guest. Rollaway bed wasn’t in room and set up like it should’ve been. 1 light switch didn’t work so manually had to be plugged from wall to turn off/on.

We’ve stayed at the Lotte a few times now. I don’t think we’ll be back. The service was adequate but certainly not impressive for a five star hotel at this price point. There are several others in the area that are in better condition and with better service for less money.
Our shower drained slowly, the AC didn’t work, the toilet clogged, and our room was cleaned when we had the do not disturb sign out. The bathroom is terribly dated and awfully dark.
The location is excellent, views are gorgeous, beds comfortable. But again, at this price point ($720/night for a double in the towers) there are better options.

Let me start by saying the concierge was great and managed to book us a few hard-to-get reservations including Carbone with only about a week's notice. The service otherwise was not what I'd hoped for. We booked a suite and when we checked in, the front desk person -Jimm- could apparently not be bothered to look me in the eye or greet me. He literally said two words, \"ID and credit card\". The next day we ordered champagne to the room around noon and, when we tried to order another bottle at 1pm, we were told that room service would not open again until 5pm. In-room dining, the concierge, and the front desk all told us that they could not accommodate the request. I realize this sounds petty but when we're spending over $1000 a night we should be able to get a bottle of champagne at 1pm? Two nights later we were told there was no one to bring us cups, or ice. Granted it was very late, so I understand that staff is limited, but when someone DID agree to bring us ice...it was in two gallon-size ziplock bags?

We addressed these concerns with management as we were checking out, and they gave us a $200 refund, which was a nice gesture but I don't think we will stay here again.

The toilet didn’t work well kept running. The shower drain slowly the bathroom needs updating. They should take out the tub and make a nice larger shower. There was no in room courtesy bar. The breakfast menu in room was very expensive. The room is very nice and spacious. The control panel at bedside is a nice touch but individual control of the lamps was not available.
