Arrived early, checked in, parked the car in the basement car park, only to find somebodys clothes and bags in \"our\" room. Was then told by the receptionist that they had no other room available. We were flabbergasted! They managed to find us a room in a neighbouring hotel, but still... Zero points for this hotel, it's like Faulty Towers!

This is a comfortable place run by helpful and friendly staff in a convenient location of town. The place offers clean accommodation with adequate space, and all usual amenities. The on site bar and restaurant are nice to have, breakfast is pretty good for the category, and must importantly the staff is friendly and very helpful. They have no gym, but offer free access to a gym and sauna in 3 minute walking distance. I would come back to this place anytime.

We stayed in Itzehoe as a base for genealogical research in Schleswig-Holstein. The Mercure was a perfectly acceptable business hotel, ample parking, very nice breakfast and dinner restaurant, friendly and helpful staff. Room was fine, nothing special. Very little to do within walking distance (grocery store next door, at least). All in all it was exactly what we needed for our purposes.

Comfortable hotel about 10 mins walk to town centre. On site parking. Comfortable room with coffee maker and fridge. However, no drawers for clothes, just a small wardrobe. Restaurant staff were excellent. The food was ok.

The hotel is conveniently located by a bakery and grocery store. The staff were very helpful and the restaurant and breakfast were excellent. Add in the friendliness of the people of Itzehoe and it makes the hotel a great destination.

Overall I enjoyed staying at your hotel. I would happily recommend it to family and friends. If I had had more time I would have gladly stayed longer. The purpose of my stay was not to sightsee in Itzehoe. So I am not sure how close the hotel to the centre is. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating at all times.

Prima hotel voor als je op doorreis bent. De kamer was ontzettend warm. De ramen konden ‘s nachts niet open vanwege het verkeer op de aangrenzende drukke straat. Helaas was er geen airco in de kamer. Inrichting van de kamer is nogal gedateerd.

Empfehlenswerte Adresse in Itzehoe

Dieses Hotel liegt zwar nahe einer Hauptstraße, ist aber durch die Bauart recht leise. Die Zimmer wurden wärend unseres Aufenthalt gerade frisch renoviert, so dass es relativ früh, laut wurde. Ansonsten waren wir rundum zufrieden.

Das Abendessen war durchschnittlich, ganz ok, das Frühstück war gut. Die Bar war gut ausgestattet, sehr kompetenter Barkeeper.
Katastrophe: Der Fahrstuhl war ausgefallen, für mich als gehbehinderten ein echtes Problem.
Die Dusche war im Übrigen eine Badewanne mit Vorhang und Brause - für mich nicht nutzbar, da ich da weder rein noch unfallfrei wieder raus komme.
Ein Fernseher war vorhanden aber nicht nutzbar, da keine Sender gespeichert waren.

Das Hotel diente als Zwischenstopp zur Weiterreise. Das Zimmer war sauber und das Personal nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen im eigenem Restauranr war sehr gut. Die Coktails leider etwas lieblos. Frühstück und Service waren hervorragend. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind, ist das Hotel unsere erste Wahl.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage und das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer ist ordentlich und sauber. Es fehlt deutlich eine Klimaanlage. Das Zimmer war sehr warm und die Fenster geöffnet zu halten brachte keine deutliche Abkühlung.

Frühstück war ok aber leider immer vieles aus. Betten sehr hart und Zimmer direkt neben der Tür. War unglaublich laut da die Tür sehr massiv ist und wenn sie ins Schloss fällt, steht man im Bett.

Vi kom sent, og i mørk og regnvåt kveld. Hadde tenkt å gå ut på middag, men Pga været, spurte vi om de hadde mat, og gjett om, fantastisk gourmetmat kpm på bordet, nydelig service, og senere fant vi de beste senger, takk for oss 😀

Das Hotel bräuchte mal eine Renovierung. Service und Personal gut. Zimmerausstattung und Zustand müsste mal erneuert werden. Alles aber sauber und ordentlich. Für eine Übernachtung zu empfehlen. Essen war auch in Ordnung.
