The room was immaculate upon arrival, and the maids kept it that way! Well-appointed kitchen. Large tiled bathroom. High ceilings. Large windows with a view of the City. The staff was extraordinary and went out of their way to be helpful. Valet parking was prompt, and their underground garage could handle a large SUV. A European-type breakfast buffet was included. Local restaurants within walking distance. A+++! I would definitely stay there again!

This was a great hotel for the price. We had a large, one bedroom with full kitchen. Excellent choices for breakfast, a well equipped gym. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Location was an easy walk to old Montreal and many restaurants. Highly recommend this hotel if staying in Montreal.

We stayed here twice. The first time for 4 nights, followed by a 1 night stay on our return home. The property is quaint, yet with modern rooms and anemities. Quiet and safe considering its proximity to everything old town has to offer. Lots of nice dinner options close by, but kitchen is nicely equipped if you choose to cook. Free breakfast is very good. The staff was very helpful and courteous and fleunt in English. I highly recommend and would stay again.

A quaint hotel with clean modern rooms in an historic building. Great location on a relatively quiet downtown street. A 5 minute walk to the train station and about 15 minutes to old town.

The laundry room had plenty of machines, the kitchen was well equipped (but we didn't really use it). The free continental breakfast had plenty of choices. We especially enjoyed the fresh bread.

Best of all the staff was patient with us as we do not speak French, their English was fluent and they went above and beyond to help us with directions and suggestions.

We stayed 4 nights, and will return again for 1 night before our trip back to the states.

Location, Location, Location - easy walking distance to anything you could possibly need or see. Suite was generous in size. If you wanted to cook, everything you needed was there. We drove and used the Valet parking; worth the money (in and out privileges); valet staff was very efficient and friendly.Would stay again and highly recommended. It was nice to have a continental plus breakfast.

C’était notre première visite à cet hôtel et on a adoré! C’est un de mes favoris à Montréal L’hôtel est très bien situé au centre-ville et on avait le métro et le REM a 5 minutes de l’hébergement. La chambre était grande, la salle de bain aussi. Tout était fonctionnel. Le déjeuner était ok mais je trouve qu’il manquait un peu de variété. Je recommande!

Very well located, in the heart of the city, right by Saint Catherine and the subway system. The parking, using their valet works really well, they are quick enough to retrieve the car when you ask for it. The staff was always attentive and helpful.
The downside is the breakfast that is not as good as what you would expect for such a nice hotel - no scrambled eggs, no bacon, only one type of bagel, with sesame. We had the family suite with two bedrooms, but one of them is not closed, it has no door, is just wide opened to the rest of the suite, so if anyone sleeps later, has a late snack or uses any area of the suite, whoever is in that bedroom will listen to the noise and have lights on them. Apart from that the suite is very complete, clearly was updated and well kept. On our kitchen there was no frying pan to make scrambled eggs for the kids, but we never asked for it, they might have provided as the staff is very helpful.
These are minor issues though, overall it was a great stay and we would definitely return there and advise friends to stay as well.

This was my fourth time staying here, always a good one, great location and friendly staff and concierge. Rooms are sized appropriately and the breakfast is a good amenity, despite the sometimes chaotic environment. This time was surprised a bit because the parking price went up specifically for standard SUVs, which wasn't expected and seems to be very arbitrary - the parking garage size didn't change, so there's no additional burden associated with the parking. This will unfortunately be a hotel deciding factor in our annual visit to Montreal - doesn't make sense at all.

Our check-in was fast, the staff were friendly and efficient. The room was huge, very well equipped and spotless. The location is perfect - we were in Montreal for a concert and the Bell Centre was an easy walk. The metro station was also a short walk away and enabled us to travel all around the city. Lots of great restaurants close by - you can park your car and walk everywhere. So much to see and do! Will definitely stay here again.

I LOVE this hotel! It was my second time staying here and I highly recommend! The staff are friendly and helpful. Bilingual and didn't hesitate to help me in French or English. There is a continental breakfast which is fantastic and the fitness centre is on the rooftop and has a beautiful view. The location is perfect - close to downtown and the green and orange metro lines. The hotel is quiet both in the hallways and entrance - as well both rooms I had were very quiet which is amazing considering we were right downtown.
Highly recommend and can't wait to stay there again! Great for families, couples, or solo travel.

Room was well maintained. Nice size room with high ceilings - so it feels like a very large room. I like that there were towels and dishes/silverware for 4 (even though we were 2) so I didn't have to ask for more. Thermostat worked well for heating and cooling the room. Most everything we wanted within 30 minutes of walking. Very close to the main train station so we were able to walk when we arrived. Right off a pedestrian walking mall - so plenty of shopping and food easily accessible.

The location was perfect for us attending an event at the Bell Center which was a 15 min walk. Old Montreal was a 20 min walk.

We got a double queen studio room and it was fantastic. I love the high ceilings! The rooms are large with a huge fridge, an actual stove with oven, rangehood and dishwasher. It has a huge space between the beds and the desk and TV. The dining area is also nice and spacious. I would choose this hotel if I were to stay for a month or more. Location is close to train station. Staff were very good and helpful. The breakfasts were also good value. Unlike Marriott hotels, they actually provide you with lotions, shoe polisher and shower cap. I did not ask for toothbrush but I know some hotels no longer supply them.

One improvement is I just wish they have a hot tub.

This was our 2nd stay at Le Square Phillips Hotel and Suites in Montreal. We absolutely love how central it is and within walking distance to many attractions. The staff are wonderful and very attentive. The rooms are extremely spacious with every amenity you could require. Full kitchens, large rooms, comfortable beds and old charm with a touch of modern. The breakfast room accommodates a large amount of people and the food is plentiful and delicious. Although it is not really a \"hot\" breakfast, it does have the cereals and breads you would expect. I really appreciate the selection of cheeses and meats that is available too. Overall, it is a great place to stay when visiting Montreal and I am sure we will stay again on our next trip to Montreal.

This was a great hotel for our \"larger\" family - Two adults, three children (Teen and Preteen) who need a little extra room. We booked the Family Suite for four nights and it worked out very well. The furniture is a bit dated and the hotel itself is on the darker side. BUT the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen had new full-size appliances. The location was perfect. Super close to everything, including the metro to get to sites a little out of our walking range.
Housekeeping was accommodating of our requests. The rooftop pool and patio were very nice. We enjoyed the breakfast in the morning by visiting and taking trays of food back to our room to enjoy in the kitchen while the teenagers snoozed.
We would recommend this hotel and are likely to stay here again on a family trip.
