A treasure chest of a hotel with the kindest people who really care about giving you the most special experience. The hotel is simply beautiful and has everything and more to make your holiday perfect. The food in the restaurants is top notch, the grounds are breathtaking, the views are second to none, the staff always go above and beyond, the rooms are excellently equipped (there's even a pillow menu!), the spa is fabulous for winter holidays, the drinks are delicious treats, the live music adds a whole new layer of wonder, there's so much to explore in the surrounding areas from Tombs of the Kings to the glorious sea-side walk to the harbour...oh, and the breakfast is the greatest of all time (you have to see the next-level spread with your own eyes). It was an absolute pleasure from our welcome to our check-out and we can't wait to come back later this year!

The room was as per our request which was near the lift as I am disabled.
In addition the room was spotless with a walk in shower.
Balcony was corner on the side with sea view.
The staff were helpful and polite.
I try and stay a few days at the Elysium every time I am in Cyprus.

Not so great as the other times we have stayed there. Room was very hot (as was the rest of the hotel), the curtain was ripped and there was no wine in the room. Fantastic resort with delicious food. Spotless room and friendly, helpful staff. Easy to walk to ruins. Our only disappointment was that there’s a restaurant that plays loud music until 11:00 each night. While that’s not terribly late, it does make it hard to relax and enjoy a peaceful evening in your own room. Still, we’d stay here again because the location and food were exceptional.

We had a wonderful time at the hotel. The room is clean and quiet. The bed and towels are soft and nice. There are varieties of restaurants options with good food quality. The surrounding areas are nice and close to other attractions and beaches that you can visit in Paphos. Our first hotel in Cyprus and we are truly impressed! Highly recommended! Definitely come back when we return to Cyprus in the future.

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty from Gabor the concierge to check in and our complete stay including the life guards pool attendants. Honestly we had the perfect stay. We chose a superior seaview room and wasn’t let down with the views. Perfectly positioned for sunset. Opt for the top floor for the perfect views. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. You’ll not go hungry. There’s so many comfy sunloungers you’ll not struggle to find one even at 10am. We were thoroughly spoilt with our anniversary wine & chocolates- this hotel lived upto its 5* rating. Allow for its traditional room decor which is part of the charm it’s not dated just full of character - the communal areas are modern & shiny. Shame we missed a spy in the spa area but caught a glimpse of the pool which was outstanding / get booking if your in Paphos

The best hotel!!!

This hotel is probably one of the best hotels we have ever been to, and we travel all over the world. It is just gorgeous! The Service and the staff are excellent. The grounds are magnificent. There are pools and beautiful grassy areas with trees shading , all facing the ocean. It does not really have any beach to swim in, but it is a beautiful setting to sit at. The breakfast is amazing, and there are 3 options of seating areas, all of which are great. Especially the garden area. The architecture and decor are very beautiful and top of the line. Everyone who works there are extremely professional and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend the Elysium if you are planning a trip to Cyprus. It’s awesome!

Elysium was absolutely amazing, we hardly felt the need to leave the hotel grounds because it was so beautiful and had everything you could need. Service was excellent. Rooms were super clean! I would say the restaurant could do with a couple more veggie options - that being said they were super accommodating and helpful. Highly recommend. The pool was lovely too!

THE MOST AMAZING HOTEL!

We came to Cyprus for the first time this year for our friend’s wedding at the hotel and were not disappointed!

Summary of The Elysium:

1.Best hotel we’ve ever stayed at
2.20min from the airport
3.24hr room service (highly recommend)
4.Services in the hotel: hair & nail salon, spa & gym facilities, perfumery, other shops
5.ESPA products provided in the bathrooms
6.QR codes for service around the pool and everything can be charged to your room
7.Ice-cold towels brought around the pool each morning (heaven)
8.Most amazing friendly staff
9.Extremely fancy and clean hotel
10.Great food and culture
11.Excellent cocktail selection
12.Breakfast buffet 10/10
13.5min walk to the local strip with lots of restaurants, bars and shops including McDonald's and KFC
14. Luxurious and extremely comfy beds (the maids even do a “turn-down” in the evening which includes taking the cushions off the bed, water restock and turning on the ambient lighting! I’d never heard of a pillow menu until staying here!)

Laura from the salon is a superstar and fixed my nail that broke the day before the wedding. Christoph? (blonde curly hair pool waiter), the first aiders and the lady in the spa were all ANGELS and took great care of my sister whilst she was not well on holiday. Fortini (waitress) and Thanasis (doorman) were always extremely sweet and friendly. We couldn't name everyone but all of the staff we met were wonderful!

Very nice hotel. Very elegant interior with lots of facilities available. We booked bed and breakfast and made use of the outdoor pool, the indoor pool/sauna and steamer all included. The rooms included bath robes and good quality slippers. We had a nespresso coffee machine in our room which was great. The sea view from the room was amazing. AC in the room was easy to use. House keeping kept the room clean and fresh everyday. Everything was replaced/topped up well. We had one issue with another guest however the reception and guest relations were able to sort it out for us smoothly. The reception staff are very smiley and friendly. They are easily approachable so are the bell boys. They were amazing! The breakfast options were amazing, the outdoor seating for breakfast was my favourite. The only bad thing was that it was noisy from early morning (8am)as there was construction work going on in tombs of kings.

The hotel has beautiful grounds and pools. Rooms feel a little outdated. Shower in the bath with a small shower screen which meant floor was soaked. If you drive there, there are not any obvious signs when you get to the hotel. It's not hard to miss but you do wonder as you drive in, whether you're in the right place or not. Staff were great and super friendly. Breakfast was varied and delicious. Room service wasn't that good. Beautiful setting and grounds. My son liked the kids club as well.

Our stay at the Elysium Hotel in Cyprus was absolutely unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel incredibly welcome. The entire experience was nothing short of exceptional, and we are genuinely grateful for everything the hotel did to ensure our stay was perfect.

The hotel itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and immaculate facilities. Every detail has been carefully thought out, and it truly felt like a luxurious haven. However, what made our stay even more special was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

A particular highlight was the exceptional care they took with our dietary preferences. As vegetarians, we were so appreciative of the variety of options offered to us at every meal. The staff took the time to understand our needs, and the chefs were more than happy to accommodate us, making each dining experience a delight.

We’d like to give a special mention to Andres, the supervisor manager, who made such a difference in our stay. He always went out of his way to ensure we had everything we needed, and his genuine care for our comfort and satisfaction was truly remarkable. His dedication and attention to detail really stood out, and we are so thankful for his efforts.

However let down by no air con in the room in the winter made the room too warm. Reception advised this was hotel policy. Made sleeping at night hard.

Restaurants do not show menu prices outside each venue
Breakfast buffet large, but cooked hot food was only like warm. Only the omelette was hot.

Their own app did not work, you could not select the hotel. Was reported but nothing happened

On the other hand the small beach is not a major asset and needs work; there is quite a bit of recent and ongoing waterfront landscaping in the area around the hotel. Our room did have \"partial sea view\" but also faced the property's noisy air conditioning unit..

The Elysium is a very nice hotel to stay at with a variety of accommodation.

I particularly research this place to find a Duplex that really suited my needs. Being so near the coast there was a lovely breeze that helped with the high temperatures we experienced (34).

The staff all seemed very good at whatever job they were hired for.

We particularly enjoyed our garden area which backed out onto a very quiet area and didn't see much of the sun, which was great for a NON-sun worshipper. Although we weren't in the \"Adult-only area\" it was amazingly quiet, which our initial booking had been for.

We were not able to investigate all the amenities available, which there seemed to be a variety of. It was all round a fabulous find in Paphos and we were very happy with our choice.

This property fell down for inedible evening buffets, and pools that were limited to only certain rooms even though I paid for a ‘royal’ room. The restaurants in walking distance were also not great. Overall not great value.

One of the best hotel stays I have ever had. Exceptional room, clean quiet and comfortable . The staff were amazing and willing to help with any problem—there was a pillow concierge! Even with a higher occupancy the resort didn’t feel crowded. Buffet breakfast was great as were the themed evening meals. Ate at the Italian restaraunt on site—what a great room! Excellent food and service.
I would highly recommend to anyone. The only problem is we have to stay somewhere else for the rest of our holiday!

The architecture of the hotel is beautiful and along with the location, that is the biggest plus for this hotel.

The hotel is very clean and kudos to the entire staff.
Every afternoon they bring small cookies to the room complimentary.
Breakfast is excellent, varied. Excellent internet throughout the resort!
These are the things that the hotel justifies 5*.

As for the bad experience, there are also a lot of things I have to mention.
Dinner in terms of quality and quantity does not deserve a hotel like this. Very simple. Almost every day everything is the same except for three or four main dishes that change. I have been in many 5* hotels and the dinner here is at a very low level.
We booked the Royal Villa with a private pool because we wanted our own pool and privacy. It's a waste of money. The villa has no privacy, the pool is not heated, it is very cold (like all other outdoor pools) and we could not swim. We stayed end of april, beginning of May.You have no privacy, because all the rooms around you, as well as other guests and staff who pass by the villa, look directly at you.
The air conditioning in the villa was noisy , some noise was there non-stop, even the air condition is off, there was still the annoying noise, and I couldn't sleep.We were guests of this hotel for seven nights. I informed the staff about it four times, after the fourth time they took action, but in the end of the day they couldn't do enything.

A traditional design property, but clean and very spacious. Excellent staff, so friendly and efficient. Good food with a wide variety. We only ate at the buffet restaurant as we found that the themes changed daily so didn't feel the need to try the additional restaurant options.

I cannot fault this Hotel in any way. It was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in. The staff were friendly and very attentive. The hotel overall was immaculate, and the rooms kept spotlessly clean. The meals where plentiful and of a very high standard and catered well for gluten-free. The hotel is ideally located close to the old town and harbour. A free shuttle bus does take you in but not on a return.
Would thoroughly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in Paphos or even Cyprus.

We absolutely loved our stay with our two young daughters. The staff were wonderful, food was great and the pools and outdoor space was amazing. Sunset dips in the sea and cocktails on the terrace made for wonderful memories. Thanks so much Elysium - you are fantastic and we cannot recommend you more highly.
