It's an 1970 hotel. Small shower. We had a lot of mosquitos in the room. Maybe from aircond, super anoying. You can here the other rooms and corridor, it's very responsive. It's expensive and there are no restaurants close by. It's a 15 mins walking to San Babila and metro. Very expensive, meaning no price value. I cannot recommend it. No breakfast.

The best part of Hotel Pavone was the staff who were helpful, starting with Diego, who helped me add another guest to my reservation. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the location felt safe and quiet, with convenient access to public transportation. Apart from that, my hotel room was small, particularly the restroom. I stayed in a double room with two separate beds. I'm not tall or large, but literally you're sitting face to wall while in the restroom. If you're looking to sleep in, good luck with that. You can hear all the noise from the hallway, guests talking, workers vacuuming/cleaning the rooms. I felt the cost of my stay was expensive considering the basic amenities or lack of amenities in the room.

Hotel was in bad condition and I did not feel safe staying there. There was no place to park my car in a secure location. The pictures make it look like a decent hotel but in reality it is not nice at all. I would not recommend staying there. It was so bad we decided to leave and stay somewhere else.

Thankful for our stay here. The hotel has very nice staff and clean accommodations. The area is safe and has many nice shops and restaurants and cafes. It is also walking distance to the major sites. The hotel is good in every way, apart of sound. It's noisy in the evening and night. I found it difficult to sleep when there is a lot of noise around hotel after 10 pm. In addition, I could hear a tram, going every several minutes on the neibouring street. I was glad to leave.

Even though this is an older building, the comfort was nice and well loved. The room was nice and sizeable for us (two adults and one toddler) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Though do note there is no lift/elevator, but staff was generous in helping woth carrying up some of our luggage. I would recommend this place for those needing a good place to stay, but defintely more geared to those without a lot of luggage or have kids if stairs are an issue.

Didnt like leaving the key at the desk when leaving the hotel each time. The bed was terrible and creaky w/suspect comforter on top. The shower stall is the smallest shower I’ve ever been in in my life (2’x2’), no lie…no room to bend down, impossible to take a decent shower in here, and I’m 6’6. Hotel on a dark street. Only book if you have no other options

Friendly staff, more than willing to provide any information you have regarding directions, where to eat, how to get to the airport, Milan Centrale, Duomo ( which is walking distance). The quiet Air conditioner was great. The only negative I experienced was there was a smell of dirty water coming from a drainage they have in the middle of the bathroom.( I had to keep the bathroom door close and the bathroom window open most times. Overall, not a bad hotel

lovely no frill hotel with a fantastic location. Staff (owners?) were absolutely wonderful.
Parking is paid and a couple blocks away. It is about $20 euro, but be aware - it is closed from midnight to 6:30 AM. That was a problem for one of pur party with a very early flight
beds are not the most comfortable, but for the price and location, I would still wholeheartedly recommend

I think the 3.3/5 rating is quite accurate. Property has everything you need for a one night stay. It’s very basic. Also, mosquitoes were very aggressive.

We booked for two nights and cancelled the second night and decided to go somwhere else.

Overall in Milan because it has a nice public transport no meed to spend the extra cash for a hotel to stay close in the city center. Just buy the 2 day pass and you end up saving.

Frosty reception. Allowed to check in slightly early. Room was adequate but a bit musty. Couldn’t open the window. Tiny TV. We were told breakfast was ‘available, pay at property’ but we were refused this despite me showing your confirmation!! This was disappointing as it was a key filter in our choice of hotel, don’t know if this is your fault or theirs but it’s not satisfactory.

This was a very old property. It smelled musty. We were allowed to check-in early, which was nice. Parking was in the mall center, and discounted to 15 EUROS per day. They clean with Vinegar, and that was overpowering; yet the musty smell over powered that. The area is very noisy and you could hear people talking in the rooms down the hall. I can't give this 3 stars; 2 at best.

This hotel is grubby, in general poorly serviced, the floor of the room dirty, the bathroom small, especially the shower, the towels smell far from fresh, the bed linen: sheets ok but the over blanket is the main warmth in the night and god knows what people did on it. Breakfast incredibly poorly even managing to make bad coffee. In Italy. BAD COFFEE... man at reception ok and helped me with bags, woman very unfriendly. Breakfast very basic and unattended. I will never stay here again.

This a regular stay, no signal in the room the WiFi slows down your phone, nothing out of the ordinary, clean, a lot of noise from a construction site since 7am, i did a problem with one of the receptionist she couldn’t have been more rude, the hotel was reserved for 2 ppl but i end up staying alone my friend did registered on the first day since he dropped me off, when he tried to go in the next day receptionist asked for ID he gave it to her and explained he was already resgistared she responded that she didn’t care and she made the rules there, I just ignored her but in my opinion thats not a way to answer overall it was an okay stay

We stayed for two nights. On the first night, the receptionist was not very welcoming, bordering on rude.
Rooms are outdated and tiny. Bathroom is tiny, and wasn’t clean when we checked in. Bed is very hard and uncomfortable - you can feel all the springs and the mattress is actually collapsing on the side. Smells like strong chemicals in the room. Opened windows for a few hours, but when we returned it still smelt like chemicals. TV is tiny and bedside tables covered in dust.

This hotel is probably close to downtown but the rooms are way too small, bathroom is small too.
The included breakfast is nothing but cereal. Not even coffe.

My best suggestion is that you Pay an extra 30 € per night and stay in a better place.
The staff is basically 2 people, they are ok but I Will not go back again just for the rooms being so old, small and unconfortable.

Great Location. Major complaint : Hotel staff rude and not showing any enthusiasm in their job. Whenever we asked for information we seemed to bother them, as if they had something better to do.
Oh! and also the toilet was not flushing... instead of relocating us to another room , they directed us to a public washroom at the end of the hall.

We stayed for one night. The hotel has a good parking arrangement 2 blocks away. We arrived late and the concierge did not speak good English but tried hard. The rooms are old but comfortable, nothing far from the rest of Europe. Breakfast was included and it was good, nothing to write home about it but good enough to get you through lunch.
The morning/afternoon lady was very helpful and nice.

The location was pretty good. It is located on a side street. The hotel did not have an elevator so you need to carry your bags up the stairs. The lady did not speak much English at all so it was hard to communicate with her. We relied on the front desk to give us directions but we could not really communicate with her so found our own way around. She did provide a map which was useful. I did not know how to power on the A/C so that was one issue and also you have to give your keys to the front desk to hold when you leave the hotel.

The room seemed ok for all of the 5 minutes I spent in it before leaving because of the horrible staff! The night time desk man was a proper jerk when I tried to check in, and he gave me trouble saying the Italian government identification I had wasn't acceptable. (This is complete bunk; I've lived and traveled all over Italy for 1-1/2 years with it.) He finally let me check in after much convincing, but the climate control didn't work. I went to ask about it, and he told me there was a remote control in the room; there wasn't. Again, he was a real pain-in-the-you-know-what and was very suspicious and unhelpful about giving me a new one. After settling this stuff, I went out to meet up with a friend who lives in Milan. We came back by the hotel to hang out for a few hours and so I could get changed for our next engagement. But the front desk man wouldn't let my friend come into the hotel!!! He said I had only paid for a one person room so no one else could come in. I even offered to pay the supplement to add a person (as is often required in Italy if additional guests are staying in the hotel, which my friend wasn't), and he wouldn't let me do that either! I had only been in the room when I originally dropped off my luggage, but I told him I was leaving, and he nonetheless demanded full payment for the room. If you like atrocious service and being treated poorly by proper jerks, you'll love Hotel Pavone. BTW, the wireless internet code didn't work.

This is a small hotel with a great staff. They are family owned and very accommodating! This hotel is a great way to spend less money traveling but still get great value!
We loved it!
