The hotel texted me 2 days before our stay advising they had overbooked and cancelled our reservation. I was not happy given I'd made the reservation 7 weeks prior. Had to find somewhere else and ended up paying a lot more.
You (Wotif) need to ensure better suppliers because this also affects your brand.

The room was OK if somewhat sparton. On arrival we noticed that only one bath towel and a hand towel had been provided. We called the owner requesting a second bath towel, a bath mat and a second hand towel. These were left for us later in the afternoon as there was apparently nobody on- site.

Overall we were a little underwhelmed by our one night stay and will probably look elsewhere next time we visit Tumut.

The room smelt moldy, the floor boards felt bouncy from I suspect moisture and my with said she smelt a septic odour. It put us right off even changing rooms. Poor value. Refund refused.

wasn’t open, at times it said it should , we booked in for 5 people, but beds for 4, didn’t service room, ie make beds or provide clean towels.
VERY NOISY neighbour's, we could hear them vomiting, and still making a lot of noise at 3am, jumping of balcony etc, my daughters were too scared to use pool, as other boys staying there were not nice, and took over pool area…. would never stay there again

This property is fine for an overnight stop but it is quite tired and could do with a refresh. The swimming pool in particular is showing it's age. The painted surface has worn away and at some stage the tiles were painted but this is now flaking off, so looks pretty bad. The room itself was okay however the bathroom sink had a leak so the floor under it was wet and the airconditioning unit was very noisy. For the money it was fine, but as I said, could do with an upgrade. The location is great - across the road from a supermarket and two pubs on nearby corners which both do good meals are all in walking distance. The code operated doors are a good idea as no keys are required.

Loved the little outside balcony overlooking the grassed area with the pool. The chairs and table out there were really uncomfortable though (no big deal really)
The room was nice and comfortable.
Location to the pub was great unfortunately the dinner there was awful but that is not the hotels fault

I had room 17, large room, the only issue if there has to be one is the bathroom is very dated and the vanity is swollen and needs a total reno, the room itself was fine. The reception lady was very nice, no problems there. Ill stay there again for sure.

Received a warm, friendly welcome from the office staff, who recommended sightseeing walks, places to eat, where to go,etc.
Rooms were lovely and warm, heating had been turned on before our arrival 😊👍.

The first night the room was cold but the staff quickly assisted with additional blankets and a radiator. This warmed up the room so it was comfortable. Found staff to be very helpful and friendly.

From the helpful friendly greeting on arrival to check out I have nothing but good things to say. Clean comfortable rooms with excellent heating, hot water and water pressure. Walking distance to everything in town. Great food in several nearby eateries. The closest coffee shop was also excellent. If you are in Tumut this is the place to stay.

Fairly basic motel which was comfortable for one night’s stay. The double bed was a bit saggy though. The view from our room of the pool and the mountains in the distance was lovely. The pool was very refreshing and clean, and the owner was extremely attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed 2 nights. Room slightly outdated, but was very clean and beds comfortable. Shower has very good pressure. The hosts are very friendly without being intrusive and remembered my name every time I saw them. The pub next door has great meals and they are huge! The location of the Inn is perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

The Tumut Motor Inn was a very comfortable nights stay in very hot conditions. It had a lovely pool & great air conditioning in the room. Beds were very comfy as well.
Would highly recommend if you are staying in this lovely little town.

Great place to stay in Tumut being in the heart of the town. The room had a balcony either side and it was very private looking over the town towards the river and distant hills. The grassed area with the pool at the back was a nice surprise. The room had been updated and was spacious.

Staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. This is our first stay here in the family room, we’re a family of 6 and whilst the room is compact we all had our own space. The property is fairly aged but in pretty good condition considering. The value for money for a large family travelling you really can’t go past!! Highly recommend this motor inn!

Very clean rooms with modern bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Central location but also next door to the Oriental pub - great craft beers and ciders as well as good pub meals. Excellent staff service- can't fault it. Would certainly recommend this if looking for a good country stay.

Our hosts were very friendly and helpful, and knew the area well. Also gave good information re checking the road conditions through the Snowy Mts. due to the weather conditions at the time. The location of the motel was great as it was an easy walk to shops and quite a few local hotels serving meals. Also lovely to stroll along the walkways near the river and park.

I travelled with my Brother so the family room was ideal as we had separate sleeping rooms. Didn't require the electric blankets on the bed but nice to know that they were there. Air conditioner worked well in warming up the room. Lovely outlook over the pool and down to the river from the balcony. Even though located at the back of a hotel no noise was to be heard.
