This hotel has a great beach location. Although we couldn't go into the ocean because of jellyfish allegedly. The sea is best for surfing and water sports not so much relaxing. Pools were fine. The rooms were in need of repairs, first room we found mold and they didn't move us until the next day. Second room was better but showers were leaking, air conditioner smelt of mildew. There is only one restaurant and the food was good but the service was slow, the server had to come back many times to re-take our order. Generally staff was friendly. due to the rooms I wouldn't stay here again, I would probably rent an Air B&B in the area instead next time.

On our way to check in to the Golden Frog (30 minutes away), I was met with an email that they did not have a room available. This reservation was made 6 weeks before we arrived in Panama and confirmed via email with confirmation number. This is very unprofessional way to do business. I would caution anyone booking a reservation to be very wary and have an alternative plan. I was offered a lunch for compensation. What a joke!

We enjoyed our stay here from our arrival to our departure. We didn’t spend a lot of time on the beach because the waters are not kid friendly and is extremely windy. There were many surfers and very few swimmers. However the hotel has an excellent pool and many spots on the beach where you can sit, play and hangout and still enjoy the ocean view.

Check all the boxes for this property. Everything well done by staff in all areas. Very family friendly. I was a solo guest for 3 weeks. There is something there for everyone. Pool area, beach, spa, gym & common areas well maintained & clean. Also very safe with watchful eyes of security & mgmt. Got to know some of the staff. Andrea, Yusarra, Idanis, Efrain, Luis, Georgi, Daniel Surf Shop & Senor Dee with Block Security. Made longer stay reservations for next year before I left. Pool water quality was excellent. Room was very small. Not suitable for a family of four. Not sure why the larger suites only accommodate 2 people. Both listed as 420 sqft which is not accurate. Would not have booked knowing how tiny the room was. In poor shape for being a new hotel. Very little shade spots during the day. We did like the pool. Temperature was warm. Breakfast was ok.

The room was fine and a great view. The issue for us was the quality of the bed. Extremely soft and not firm enough. The shower was very small and too much water seepage on the floor. Perhaps a drain in the floor would help or better seal to prevent water from wetting the floor.

We had problems from the time we checked in. Dirty room, shower filthy with a hair elastic in soap holder. Took 5 hours to get them to help fix ac. Requested extra pillows first night twice and never received. Second day bedroom blind broke and after multiple attempts they were not able to fix so lived with blackout blind down. So much for the view. Room did not have a coffee maker or kettle like in advertising. No hot water on third and fourth day. They had to send in maintenance to repair shower faucet. Bathroom vanity was missing one handle. Sent an email to hotel about how unhappy we were. No response. Met another woman who had checked in same day as us and had also prepaid for the week. She decided to leave after one day for similar problems as us. So much potential in this hotel being squandered. It’s a beautiful beach.

This is a wonderful four-star hotel and a very comfortable place to stay.
Pros: Our room included a small kitchenette with a microwave, burner stove, plates, and cups. The bedroom was a great size with a separate seating area, and the bathroom was very nice. We also had an ocean-facing room, which was beautiful.
Our stay included free breakfast with a buffet offering many options — something for everyone. Coffee and juice are included; specialty drinks like cappuccinos or lattes cost extra.
The staff was excellent throughout the hotel. Everyone was friendly and helpful. I even got locked out of our room when the key card stopped working, and a maintenance staff member noticed, investigated the issue, replaced the battery, and fixed everything quickly. Great service.
We stayed four days. The weekend was a bit busier but still pleasant. Weekdays were incredibly quiet, peaceful, and relaxing.

I visited the spa twice. The facial was nice, but the body scrub was disappointing. The provider seemed inexperienced, the room didn’t feel properly prepped, and there was no clear menu. I also expected a massage with the lavender scrub, which didn’t happen — possibly a translation issue.

The main restaurant was excellent. We didn’t try the grill due to crowds. The sushi kiosk was disappointing — the rice was crunchy, which hopefully was just a one-off.

Overall, a great place for couples or families. Diverse guests, welcoming atmosphere, and I would definitely recommend staying here.

The place looks like new. Everything clean. The view of the beach from the room is something I enjoyed. You can actually see the beach from the bed since the room has sliding glass doors. And you can hear the waves while sleeping. The room for improvement is in the restaurant where they serve the breakfast: it is too small and it is understaffed considering the amount of hosts they had at the time.

The only good thing about this resort is the beach. The food and customer service is horrendous. The resort is in a desolate location. The road to the resort is poorly paved and filled with potholes. It was like driving in the jungle. Once at the resort, you are relegated to a single restaurant. The food is horrible and customer service is awful. I do not recommend this place.

This property is not ready for guests. The access road was narrow, pothole-filled, requiring constant maneuvering around oncoming vehicles.

Upon 6pm arrival, our room wasn’t ready. Once accessed, we found a broken window shade and key cards that repeatedly malfunctioned, requiring multiple front desk trips throughout our stay.

The dining situation was unacceptable. The first night, severe understaffing left guests waving hands and walking up to servers trying to get food. When it arrived, it was unseasoned or overcooked. The second night, the regular menu was unavailable, only a $35 Chinese buffet. Each subsequent night, despite daytime assurances, we encountered limited menus or mandatory buffets. Most guests resorted to ordering hamburgers, chicken tenders, or plain spaghetti. Resort guests shouldn’t be reduced to children’s menu items.

Beach facilities were inadequate, no shade or umbrellas, low towel supplies, and staff prohibiting us from using towels for shade. The market didn’t even stock sunscreen.

We endured constant construction noise (drilling and banging) until 7pm daily, making daytime relaxation impossible and delaying restaurant opening.

To be clear: individual staff members were genuinely kind, doing their best under impossible circumstances. These failures result from chronic understaffing and under-resourcing by management. This property needs to pause reservations until they can deliver basic hospitality.

Room wasn’t ready until 7:30pm and even then it was not what we booked and had dirty towels on the floor. No comp offered for the delay or putting us in a room we hadn’t booked and floors away from family. Next morning I asked for the dirty towel to be replaced. Never happened until we left.

Restaurant service beyond slow and the buffet dinner we had to get one night because of “limited à la carte” was beyond subpar.

Breakfast was great and so are the views.

The staff are truly the golden point of this place—kind, professional, and always welcoming. The beach was clean and well maintained, and the food was excellent. Excelent stay for my family of four.Great restaurant, fast and delicious! We enjoyed the Karaoke night and the fire pit, My room was pretty small compared to others that reserved for only two people.
It will be great to have 2 queen beds instead of full beds.

Radisson should be ashamed to have their name on this hotel.

If you make the mistake and ignore this review, you deserve what you get. We cancelled a 4 day stay after 2 nights and moved elsewhere.

Pros:
- Decent swimming pool and gym

Cons:
- The 10-15km road from the highway is riddled with huge pot holes. Not talking about a few, but hundreds, each bad enough to break your car. It is absolutely unsafe to drive at night and a huge pain during the day (plus it takes 30-40 min), so you are pretty much stuck at the hotel.
- The area is a construction zone with several large buildings being built around the hotel. You are bombarded with construction noises and smells all day. At night, it's also a ghost town with hundreds of empty buildings with no life, and 0 ammenities around.
- The whole place stinks of sewers and inside the rooms reeks of some strong cleaning chemicals that they use.
- The bathrooms are so badly designed that they overflow after a shower. They even provide you with a mop?!!
- The hotel's restaurant (pretty much the only option most of the time) is appropriately rated 2.6 out of 5 stars online. There were usually more personnel than clients and still took forever to even get the menus. Our \"inclusive\" breakfast was 2 fried eggs, 3 miniscule baguette slices, 2 slices of Kraft cheese (seriosly?!!), and a few cubes of fruit. We tried the dinner menu once and it was all bland, oily, and tasteless.

Amazing beachfront hotel. Facilities seemed to be brand new. Complimentary breakfast with a full plate of food and beverages. Area is isolated from any population centers so the onky people on the beach were hotel guests and owners of the adjacent condo complex. Beach was sparkling clean. Uber users beware...seemed next to impossible to get an Uber from the hotel. Had to call a local taxi to get from the hotel back to Panama City for over 100usd.

\"I had a great experience at this location. However, one suggestion would be to offer more beverage options in the morning. We were informed that we had to wait until the convenience store opened at 11 a.m. before we could get a drink, which was a bit inconvenient. It would be great if there were some options available for guests who are feeling thirsty early in the day. Shout out to the DJ who made the ambience super fun and the volleyball crew!!! I will come back definitely!

This is a very new property, and during my stay there were a lot of issues with the facilities, that made this a poor experience for me. Most of the staff spoke little to no English, and the front desk staff were inattentive and not very professional in their interactions. The restaurant staff we had also did not speak English, which is below my expectations for a Western-style resort. There were several problems with the room including missing bath towels, no hot water from the shower, a strange fishy odor to the shower water, a cabinet front panel in the kitchen that fell off when we opened the adjacent cupboard, and very bright bathroom lights (not fun, when using the bathroom at night). We were hoping to enjoy the evening breezes, but when the bedroom/ balcony sliding door was opened, it created a draft effect, with a very loud whistling sound produced by air rushing in from around the front door, due to a lack of sealing. So, we had to leave all the windows closed all night, to keep the loud whistling sound from occuring. The included breakfast was one of the least enjoyable I've had from a hotel in a long time, including the quality and quantity of food. The area around the hotel is still under construction, with all the sounds and activity of a busy construction site. The road to get to this hotel is long, and in very rough condition, which was nerve- racking in a rental car. This hotel will probably be a nice resort experience, someday.
