Front desk staff \"Henlen\" is a God sent from heaven. It was our first time visiting Shanghai China and we arrived at the hotel in the evening. Henlen greated us with a smile and proceeded to help us with our check in. She used a Translation app that was Very Helpful for all of us. We were able to get our questions answered and she helped us get DiDi. We cannot Thank her enough for being such a caring person to my wife and I. Henlen also told us that whenever we needed anything, please reach out to her and she will get whatever we need taken care of. Without Henlen we would be running around like a \"chicken with no head\" Henlen is more than an Amazing person she has a big Heart and Really cares about giving the Best Customer Service she can. She would be a great Supervisor / Manager someday. She is the Best !!

The room was clean and in excellent condition. I didn't expect a Holiday Inn to be this good.

Breakfast was also Excellent. Variety of foods to choose from. Food is fresh and delicious.

Air condition worked as it should and would come back and stay here again in the future.

Hotel is brand new and high tech savvy. Location is a bit remote and need drive through sketchy village due to new road construction. But with free airport shuttle, it is no big deal. Easy to order food you like through meituan, great value/price ratio, among the best holiday inn express I ever stayed. If you only need one night stay before/after your stay, this is the place to be.

The hotel is more than 20 km (not 7.8 km as described, at least not at the moment) away from the airport and the commute between the airport and the hotel takes 30 min. The staff and the shuttle bus driver are great. For overnight stay waiting for next day flight, it’s not a bad option in term of price.

A good affordable hotel for late arrival in Shanghai. We reached Shanghai around 11pm and decided to book somewhere near the airport with shuttle services. It was a good short overnight stay and we had a comfortable sleep here.

Their shuttle bus driver intentionally drove off even though he saw me, costing me $$ for a taxi to the hotel. I booked this hotel mostly because it offered a shuttle bus to and from the airport; otherwise, I would have booked a much nicer hotel for my 7-hour layover. The room was disgusting as well. Hair that wasn't mine on the towels, dust everywhere and sheets that smelt musty sum it up. The staff said they would refund me for the bus mishap, but I have yet to receive a refund. The breakfast buffet was also awful. The coffee machine only did espresso or black coffee, and the food was dry and tasted like frozen packaged food. I ended up eating buttered toast. Truthfully, staying at the hotel and hitting a lounge would have been a better option. There are many better hotels in the area...I wouldn't suggest booking this one.

In general, a great stay - only real complaint is that our comforter (heavy blanket on the bed) smelled bad, like it wasn't dried properly after washing. We were just too tired to say or do anything about it.

The staff were very courteous and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. The shower heads were my favorite, there were overhead waterfall, lower level waterfall for washing feet, and movable shower head to move flexibly to rinse around. In the shower room, there is a hanging line available in case anybody needed to dry clothes. The only flaw was it was a bit far from the city and not too close to PuDong international airport, but there is a shuttle bus available from time to time. I recommend people to live closer to the airport if your flight arrives past midnight as there's only 2 shuttle buses available after (approximately 1 hour in between).

Two night stay. Really nice hotel with great amenities. Brand new. The only downside that we could not find airport shuttle timetable and email to reach hotel. It would be great if it is posted.

Also while the drive from airport is shown 11 minutes - in reality it takes 25 minutes or so.

Clean hotel, Friendly staff, great breakfast options and they also have a robot deliverying food. Staff usually uses translation machines to communicate and there is also a shuttle service that they offer to go to the airport. Overall it's a great place to be near the airport. Going to the downtown area could take 1 - 1.5 hours depending on traffic.

Nice and clean but the breakfast wasn’t great. It had a lot of options but the food just didn’t taste great. Location is quite off the beaten path and the shuttle over was quite dangerous. The driver tried to overtake while going uphill on a bridge and if the oncoming traffic didn’t dive into the shoulder things would have been much different. Surpringly I was the only one on the shuttle who noticed or seemed to care. I chose this brand because holiday inn at the airport had such a good breakfast and this price was much cheaper but 30 minutes to and from not the advertised 11 minutes. I assumed it would be 11 minutes closer to downtown but that was not the case either. Size of the room is decent as well.

The hotel facility is relatively new, very clean, good breakfast. However the location is very inconvenient with no restaurants in the hotel or nearby within walking distance. It's in a remote area, not close to anything. It takes 45minutes to get from and to the airport. So it was a bit deceiving to call it a hotel near the airport. It's also a bit pricey considering its inconvenient location. won't stay there again.
