A bit away from the city centre. But we chose it. Walkable to train station however, no elevator of lift.
There's a konbini and shopping centre near by.
There are two separate building, depends on what type of rooms you book. If you book different types of room, there's a chance your group will be separated.
Economy rooms are tiny for two.
Building p1 are not very well lit, so it's kinda spooky if you stayed by yourself.

Amazing! 10/10 definitely gonna think of going to MyStays again next time I go to Japan! Great price, and not too far from Kameido station, I also loved and utilized the coin laundry/dryers (the machines even dispense the detergent so you don’t need buy any!) Loved that the window opened for fresh air, a real cozy unit that felt like it was my own an apartment in Tokyo! Great experience!

The hotel is a bit old, but it has EVERYTHING you need. You room has its own microwave and a good size refrigerator. It even has an air filter machine in the room. The bed is nice. Watch out for the step to the bathroom! It's just how Japanese bathroom is done.

Two things to know, and they are the trend in Japan now. 1) Rooms are only cleaned AFTER each 3 nights, i.e., staying four nights will get your room cleaned ONCE on the day of the fourth night. 2) You can get new towels by bringing them down to the laundry room. Other hotels you just leave the dirty towels outside of your room.

The staff is friendly and helpful, as always!

The hotel can be a bit hard to find. Once you get out of the train station, just cross the street where the two rows of trees are, like a nice arbor path. Walk all the way to the end. Turn right, and walk a little more. The hotel is on the right!

The room was pretty outdated but it did everything i needed for rest and to refresh myself. The bathroom is on the small side and made for more petite people. The water pressure was great though!

Bed was firm enough and only comes with one pillow, but you can request to make sure they have stock.

The hotels steps from the konbini and a few mins from the mall and metro.

They have laundry amenities as well for a cheap price if you decide to use it and the room has a kettle, microwave and mini fridge.

Easy to get to and has a convenience store right next to it, very easy to get from kameido to any of the big places like tokyo station/shibuya station. Room was TINY, my brother is 6’4 and did not fit in the shower, so if you’re over 6’0 i wouldn’t recommend. You had to throw away your own trash but it’s good overall.

The staff was all very great and nice, however, the room was unfortunately not a great experience. First, the the outlets in the desk did not work. Thankfully, there was a rat's next of wires that looked like they could start a fire at any moment, which had one open plug available that worked. The water in the bathroom could not keep a consistent temperature when taking a shower/bath; it would cycle from hot to cold every few seconds. The space between the toilet and the tissue roll was very uncomfortable, and my feet were practically outside the door due to how small the bathroom is. Alongside a pretty stiff, springy bed, the pillow was one of the most uncomfortable things I've slept on as well.

This hotel we perfect for us, the rooms are on the smaller side or what you would expect in the UK however my partner and I made it work, the hotel is a short walk from a station with a Lawsons right opposite. The staff were friendly and everywhere was kept clean and tidy. Would definitely stay with MyStays again.

The hotel was okay… the staff were very nice. It was just the room. We booked a smoking room cause it was cheaper. But we didn’t expect the room to be pretty dirty and to us, uncomfortable. It still smelt like cigarettes, our sheets had somewhat “blood” stains. Bathroom wasn’t clean good enough. There were stains on the sink and on the shower curtains. The wallpaper was peeling off AND there were yellow stains on the wall. We were very uncomfortable and we were supposed to stay there for a whole week. We tried to get a refund and told them about our experience but we couldn’t since we booked from here and not their official website.
Other than that, there were Lawson across the street and around the block was a mall which was good. ALSO it was walking distance from the train station.

This is supposed to be an inexpensive alternative to the 4+ star rated hotels. However, when they up the rates in Nov, the amenities don’t match the cost. Stayed 5 days with no room service. If you want to change your towel, you need to bring it down yourself and exchange for new ones. Not a huge deal, but, paying $100+/night, I expect better. Laundry room on first floor nearby check-in and open 24 hrs.
Staff was very friendly and able to communicate in English. Location was about 5-10 min walk from JR train station. Near a major supermarket and shopping with a Lawsons across the street.

There was no indication that there were no indoor hallways to get to the room prior to booking. It’s something to note especially if you’re traveling during the colder seasons. Also, it states that there’s designated smoking areas but when we asked a staff, he said it was at all the way at the Kameido station. Additionally, the bathroom felt like it was a portable restroom. The electric kettle also needs some cleaning. I opted to use the microwave for hot water since the kettle looked a bit dirty inside.

Había gente fumando dentro del edificio, en el pasillo, y aunque miraban por las cámaras, nadie les dijo que era un área de no fumar yo tuve que salir y pedirle k no fumara pork mi cuartito se estaba llenando de su humo, y solo me ignoro y mas noche salio a fumar otro sigarrillo. La tina de la regadera tenía moho negro y estaba muy manchada de suciedad, y aunque pagué extra para que me fueran a limpiar el cuarto, no se quitó. Lucía sucia, definitivamente se tiene que reemplazar.

家族がなくなりキャンセルをしなければいけなくなり、たてまえだけでも上に相談してくれればいいものの、その場で返金できないといわれただけでした。日本人の悪いところ形式にこだわりすぎで、　”おもいやり”や”おもてなし”に欠ける。
スタッフすべてがそうゆう人たちではなく、ふつうの’おもてなし’はもちろんありました。
ですが、個人的、そして家族の事情ではありますが、災いがあるときに支えてもらえなかったことにすごく残念とかんじました。

You get more than what you pay for. A small temporary home for a small amount of money. The area it is located makes this hotel a 5 star. Footsteps away from Kameido Clock a beautiful mall, Three minutes away from the train station. I'm a 6ft man and slightly struggled with restroom space but its not impossible. If its your first time visiting Japan I recommend this hotel as you will soon find out all of the major tourist areas can get overwhelming.

One of the better budget-friendly options if you're ok with being outside of Shinjuku/Shibuya (still a very manageable train commute). Neighborhood was arguably much more convenient than any stay in Shinjuku or Shibuya, the biggest being the new construction Kameido Clock mall, having everything you'd need to round off the start/end of ur trip, plus access to affordable food/drink options at the supermarket. Staff was just as professional and helpful as any other larger name hotel, another plus.

Cons?:
Facility is definitely dated, and it shows.
Not as many amenities or niceties as APA, but you get what you pay for.
For those looking for easy foot access to the major shopping areas or nightlife areas, Shinjuku and Shibuya are 30-45 away by train (Akihabara being only 4 stops away is a plus tho!)

We had booked for 10 days, and when we arrived, the lady at the front desk was so friendly and helpful — she even helped us store our luggage before check-in. However, due to an unfortunate situation in our family, we had to check out after just two days. Sadly, the staff at that time showed no compassion or understanding and didn’t even try to contact their superior. It was disappointing, especially after such a nice first impression.

I’ve stayed at this hotel three times. Every time I come to Japan I book my stay here. There is a Lawson across the street and a shopping mall a block or two away. The location is ideal and the staff have always been very helpful with any request I have. The train station is 5-10 minutes on foot and the Sobu line can take you directly to hot spots like Akihabara and Shinjuku.

We stayed at the property for two weeks during August. It was excellent choice, very affordable, with friendly staff, room was small but it didn’t bother us because most of the time we were outside exploring enjoying nature and surrounding areas. Having a Subway close was a big plus for us, also nearby a big shopping center Kameido Clock with huge supermarket in the low ground,
We definitely will consider this hotel for our next trip

Recently stayed here for 5 days in an annex twin room. The location of the hotel is fantastic, easy walk to Kameido Station and nearby mall. It’s nice to be able to take the train wherever you want to go and enjoy a quieter neighborhood! Hotel room is very small, which we expected and didn’t actually mind. The bathroom is also very small, if you are tall you may have to squeeze! I would skip paying extra for the breakfast buffet if you are a tourist and eat at nearby stores, we paid in advance but only went to the buffet 2 days. The only negative thing about our stay was the noise levels around the room. When there was no one next door to our room is was fine, but during the weekend we were there it was very noisy anytime, especially because the bathroom is so small there is a lot of bumping into things and you could hear everything. For the price it is what you expect but we overall had a good stay, just bring earplugs and be prepared to be close if you are sharing the room! If you are expecting a luxurious experience, this isn’t the place for you but if you arnt planning on spending too much time at the hotel this place will do!

Weird annex building, avoid.

Do not book the annex rooms, cramped with barely any service, you need to go to the front desk to get your towels changed.

There is no front desk in the annex building so you will have to walk across the road for that.

Also since no one is cleaning the room, if you have a lot of trash you need to go to the garbage collection center, which is even further than the main building.

This might not happen to everyone but the air conditioning is not working in our room.

This hotel has exceeded my expectation and become the best hotel experience I have ever had. The location was convenient, it’s close to the metro station. It’s located in a peaceful residential area so you feel homey. The room is small but it’s extremely functional that it has everything you need. The amenities are in great condition. Everything works extremely well there, from the shower, to sink to air conditioner to refrigerator and etc. There is a laundry room downstairs so you can wash your clothes with ease. Because how comfortable the hotel made us feel, by the end of the week, we felt like home there. We will def come back here and will highly recommend the hotel to anyone.
