family visit at Xian

This is a family visit. The hotel is located near Changle park(old 动物园). There is a subway station right outside the hotel. There are a lot of subway lines build recently at Xian. It is very convenient to travel around city with subways. At hotel's parking lot, there is bus station for buses to Xian Xianyang airport. In short, the transportation is very good. The room has two full beds and one added single bed for 3 persons, with free bottle water, umbrella which I do not remember I see at US' hotel. There is balcony overseeing a pond. First floor might be better for the view. We were at 8th floor and nearby building are much higher than us. The hotel staff is polite and does not take tip. We had a family dinner at one restaurant inside hotel. The food is good, environment is also good. Another thing worth mention is that this hotel takes US credit card which is convenient for people does not have China bank account/card/Wechat pay.

hotel was really really nice. Has a cool fish pond, awesome views and great breakfast in the morning. Bathroom was super nice and large. Beds were really comfortable too! Staff was awesome

Very nice oasis like hotel in the buzzling city of Xi’an, extremely close to subway and just oposite street (go to subway and take exit C), very nice park and lots very good restaurants. Tey get room facing coart yard with pond, very good buffet.

The place was perfect. Right next to the metro and bus station. The place was clean. We got a deluxe double room with a balcony. It was on the second the floor. I felt overall it was clean but it could have been better. I saw in my room next to the screen and balcony an old food bone. And I am allergic to dust and I could feel it. But I am more sensitive than others. I would definitely recommend this place. If I came back, I would come back to this hotel. I had overall a good experience.

Great location, but needs updating.

The hotel is just a bit old, with some mold in the showers. The could do a better job at cleaning and the hotel could use some updates. The staff was very helpful, the subway is very close and there are many restaurants and places to shop nearby. The food in the restaurant is delicious.

Checking in process was fast and smooth. Room is a bit old. Dimly lit. Non smoking floor but there r guests smoking outside. Told them not to they still argued and ask the manager up.

The hotel staff cannot speak English well and will tend to ignore foreign guests who do not speak Chinese. But that is not the worst of it: I have never stayed in a hotel in any country in the last 10 years that did not have access to WiFi that would allow me to check email. This hotel had no internet access to speak of. When I complained, the hotel staff told me my computer could not talk to the internet because (wait for it) \"your computer is not Chinese!\" True story--and the reason for my disappointment with this hotel. The hotel staff took me to their business center, which was equipped with Windows XP machines that could not connect to anything--even Chinese websites. Stay at this hotel if you wish to experience the living conditions that were faced by the army of the first emperor of all China several thousand years ago!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Close to stores, a large modern shopping mall, variety of food choices, transportation. Great hotel in great location. We loved it!

The staff is the best part of the Jianguo hotel!

In spite of a moldy shower and a cracked teacup, which the hotel tried to have me pay for at checkout, the stay was good. The staff was always friendly and helpful.

The room and breakfast were great. The internet was somewhat slow at peak time. Better use the blue cable instead of the wireless. This eliminates the frequent need to reconnect.

It was a nice hotel with friendly staff. In need of a renovation and re paint.

Our bathroom had water damage and there were squashed bugs on the roof.

Balcony door would not lock properly and was less of a balcony and more of a shared pathway next to the pond.

But the buffet was very nice and affordable. The staff were very friendly to help the best they could.

Rooms are dirty!

The rooms need to be cleaned and repairs made. Sheets are not washed even when requested. It reeks of cigarettes even in my non smoking room. I had to moved and ended with two beds instead of king size bed requested. If you do not speak Mandarin, be careful with directions staff provides. They pointed us in wrong direction twice and suggested we use a taxi driver that charged us more than twice the normal fare for that destination. The buffet is fair priced and good. It's really nice if you eat outside. The hotel staff is polite just not helpful. The worst part of the hotel is the dirty rooms.

Jianguo hotel

We are glad the bus took us directly to and from the airport for a reasonable price. One of the clerks was able to provide us with a computer and printer to allow us to print a travel document. She did this efficiently, providing us with personal service. Another clerk tried to print our boarding passes, and although he was unable to do so, it was not his fault.

This hotel had everything we could ask for. Great room, great restaurants and hotel service. This hotel did have an indoor pool but was under renovation at the time. The Jianguo is a bit far from the airport but you can get there airport shuttle. Visiting Xi'an was mainly for the Terracotta Army but there are plenty of other sites to see here.

Pleasant stay in Xian

The Jianguo is a pleasant facility about 2 miles from the old city. It is located conveniently on the Second Ring Road on East Street that takes you directly to the East Gate of the City Wall. Cabs are cheap, so access is easy enough, but don't expect to find much in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The restaurants are OK, with the best being in an adjacent building called the Rong Yuan. Keep you expectations for English-speaking service low, but the staff are pleasant and make a best effort to help. When I needed an English speaker I had my best luck at the baggage desk at the end of the lobby or the Assistant Manager near the entrance.

Great staff

We only stayed for one night but were very satisfied. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We were able to hire a driver through the hotel who took us to the large Pagoda then off to the Terracotta Warriors and to the Hot Springs and finally directly to the Airport for our 7pm flight. A whirlwind of a day but so worth it. The concierge took a lot of time to help us put that itinerary together and was so very helpful. The Hotel it self was clean and the gardens were beautiful although we did not get to enjoy them because we were in and out overnight .

The staff were very polite and helpful. The only problem was with the bathroom as the grouting was very discoloured and there are some \"Green\" solutions to this which can be checked out on the internet, as the hotel is very proud of its \"Green\" rating.
Restaurant staff were very efficient. The room size was very generous and had enough space for the third bed.

I reached the hotel at about 1:00 am in the morning and they didn't have the right type (non-smoking and queen bed) of room I reserved. They put me in a smoking room with two beds and one extra bed. It was very smelly and no room to move around. Horrible. The next day they changed my room. Thank God.

not a good choice.

arrived late due to flight. girls at front desk spoke very little english. in restaurant i asked for steak - told there was none. no smoking room stinked of cigarettes. bought a large airfreshner to get rid of the smell. bathroom had mildew.second night at chinese resaurant i asked for deep fried shrimp - didn't have any. my last night i asked for fish and chips and had to eat chicken instead. poor for a 4 star hotel. girls in european dining area spoke better english than front desk. recreation area was closed. hotel in not in a good area,
would not go back there.

Pleasant hotel rather far from city center.

The hotel is \"normal\" chinese hotel, room was clean, receptionist can speak English very well. But for going to the center city you need taxi and it was sometime problem, because in front the hotel there are only taxi without taxametr. The swimming pool is small and cold due to aircondition.

Mediocre, But Maybe Good for Xian

If you are used to \"real\" four and five star hotels, lower your expectations if you plan to stay at this hotel. The hotel is about 45-60 minutes from the airport, but is in a decent location. There is a bus that takes you there for RMB 26 per adult (free for kids). You can spend ~RMB 15 per cab ride to the \"center\" of town (near the Bell and Drum Towers), but don't expect the hotel to get a cab for you; you have to walk ~300 m to the road and hope you can flag one down. The food is mediocre and they charge a lot ( almost USD$10 for a small box of milk, RMB 100 for breakfast). English is not the forte of the staff. Rooms are run down, but the AC works. The Concierges knew almost nothing. WiFi is available for free in the lobby. If you go to Xi'An make sure to spend some time in the Muslim Area - amazing food, reasonably priced gifts and knick knacks, and the people in that area are honest.

Great hotel for the price.

It was a very nice hotel, almost too nice. We felt a little uncomfortable as we are use to staying in cheap hostels and 2-3 star hotels, and are not use to all the bellboys and other staff rushing to fulfill your every need. The staff was very attentive and The staff was very friendly and most spoke English. The rooms were nice and clean, excellent value for the price. The location was outside the city walls, but easy access by cabs and bus.

A busy business hotel, though

A busy business hotel, though I stayed on a private trip with my wife. The hotel is and looks like a good quality hotel and we found the staff very attentive and keen to assist. The level of English spoken is varied but there is usually someone at the desk with a good enough grasp of the language. Whilst we were their the pool was closed for maintenance which was disappointing and they repopened it without letting guests know. The 'American' breakfast was comprehensive, if a little pricey for Xi'an. Not strictly american but a good attempt for an area which does little in the way of western food. The location is a couple of miles from the main tourist part of Xi'an but the best thing about the area is that Taxi's are very inexpensive. But dont get them from the ones that hang around the end of the approach to the hotel, they will try to fleece foreigners. Make sure your taxi uses its meter and you can get most places locally for less than a couple of GB pounds.

Reasonable hotel, but check others first

This hotel was an acceptable hotel, but I would probably not go back. 1) It was a little too far out of town. The taxi ride into town was 15RMB, not really that much. But after touring all day we didn't have the energy to hop in a taxi to go; but we WOULD have walked. I recommend hotels downtown next to the bell tower. More activity, shops, etc. 2) The buffet meals were expensive and only so-so. 3) The pool was cold. I swam, but my wife would not.

初めは少し古い感じがしましたが、時間が経ってゆっくり過ごすと、安心で落ち着いて良いホテルだと思うようになりました。ホテル内の湖に面した採光の具合や、建築の素材も質が良く、クラシックホテルとしての良さが有ります。ホテル近くに中国の特色ある屋台もあり、空港へのバスもホテルから直接出ますので、とても便利です。

交通はとっても便利、綺麗なホテルです。

ホテルから空港行き直通リムジンバスあり、地下鉄の出口から徒歩1分、交通はとっても便利でした。古いホテルでしたが清潔感あり、部屋も広くて快適でした。
五つ星に評価したいところですが、チェックアウトの際フロントで空港行きのバス乗り場を確認したにもかかわらず時間になってもバスが到着しなかった事を気がつき、ほかのお客様に尋ねてみたら、その日ホテルの前にお祝い事があるためバスの乗り場は臨時に駐車場の入り口になったと聞き、焦って走りました、幸いバスを待っててくれました。それでサービスに関してマイナスを付けました。残念です。でも再度利用したいホテルです。

Hôtel facile d'accès et tout confort.

Hôtel situé directement en sortie d'une bouche de métro, donc très facile d'accès. Personnel très accueillant, parlant anglais. Possibilité de réserver des excursion, petit déjeuner vraiment copieux avec un immense choix. La chambre était très propre, avec un petit balcon. Calme la nuit. Nombreux services d'étage, ménage journalier.
Je suis vraiment satisfait de mon séjour !

西安咸陽国際空港からホテル前へ直行のバスがありとても便利

空港-ホテル間の移動がバス一本で済むため、現地に着いてからウロウロとホテル探しをすることが無くてとても楽でした。
また、ホテルのすぐ前に地下鉄3号線の駅もあり、兵馬俑へ行くために西安駅へ行くのもすごく楽です。
ホテル自体は年数が経っているようですが、設備は問題なし。
付近にレストランはあまり無いような気がしましたが、そこはタクシーを使って出かければ良いだけだと思います。
