Beautiful city

Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast are good and dishes look super clean.
Room is spacious but outdated. It much be more impressive if it looks newer.
We couldn’t open the window during our stay to get some fresh air because it’s always smoky outside.

Good , but easy to be better.

It's a lovely hotel in a good location.
The Executive Suite was fantastic value and much better than The Gold Valley for same money. Some other readers griped about cleanliness, and to some extent , mildew etc on bathroom grouting is unsightly and easy to solve. Hot water not so hot , but decent enough for a long soak. Breakfast is good and on par with other 4* / 5* in the area.

On the bad side, Hotel porters and security ignored us completely, not even offering a brolly or help with luggage to the tax on arrival or departure , and it was raining. Well below par compared to other premium hotels in the area.

We were also slightly miffed at being charged the full day rack rate for an 8 hour extension to checkout due to a flight delay. Given that we did not take 4 breakfasts , they could have been more flexible on the overstay charge.

The staff is terrible. They are rude and very mean. They will charge $ your second child (whether it’s 1 or 2 or 3 years old) who stay same room with you. I think the hotel is partially owned by the government. That’s why they don’t care about customer

Nice, very large hotel. Saw very few other guests except at breakfast. The breakfast was good, good selection other than cold cereals. Eggs cooked to order.Friendly, helpful staff throughout the hotel. Easy walking to restaurants and services.Taxis waiting at hotel so easy to catch a ride.Quiet Hotel.

Good location but hotel needs a refurb

The hotel is in a good location, within walking distance to the largest attraction spot - the crazy house, and also 10-15 mints to the town center.

However, on the first two nights, the stay was ok, on the last night, there was a group of local people, talking really loudly and the wall was thing, so you can hear people from the next room, which woke me up at mid-night

Overall, the hotel looks a bit old with cracks on the wall etc, needs a bit of refurb; the receptionists are friendly.

Hotel was centrally located close to everything so it was very convenient. Had a tennis court & indoor heated pool which was nice because it was very cool to chilly outside. Breakfast was great. Room was roomy & very nice. Only 2 complaints...1) bathroom had a slight musty odor & 2) front desk gave us bad info about renting a moped. Other than that i enjoyed my stay. I would definitely go back & reccommend this hotel to a friend.

The room is spacious & has the view of overlooking the city. The staff however is almost non-existent. You can hardly see any staff around. The concierge forgot to return my passport when they took it upon check-in. Only realised it when I returned to the room & called the concierge to check. The hotel is quite a distance from the town.

Overdue an Update.

The hotel was very comfortable. Rooms are well appointed and clean. Staff are friendly, however certainly don’t go above or beyond in providing service or when asking for some ideas for sightseeing or places to eat, staff didn’t really do anything. However the hotel is very “tired”, needing upan update bringing it from the 80s into present. For the price I would have expected a little more.

Average and bad experience

We visited 7 different destinations on this trip to Vietnam. This is the worst hotel we had stayed. This is not a 4 stars hotel. The receptionist staff was not very friendly or helpful. When I booked the hotel, I specifically asked for a quiet hotel room. She put us in a room facing a busy street. When we requested to change the room, she claimed that there was no other room available, but we found room available on Expedia.com and other online sites. The room is clean, but the bed is super hard, so not very comfortable. Two of the lamps were not working and the internet was super slow and unsecured. The breakfast was average. On our departure day, we went to breakfast early to catch our flight. The coffee and congee were cold, so we decided to get breakfast at the airport instead.

Overall the building and service was pretty average. Overall it was the little things that didn't work, the room safe didn't work, the room phone didn't work, the bar was supposed to be open, but it wasn't etc. If this place is available for a good price then it would represent good value. My advice would be to shop around first.

Central location, handy to shops and restaurants
Everything in town, is within a $2 taxi ride.

Pleasant 4 night stay, comfortable beds, fairly quiet room except for noise from loud neighbours through connecting door. Nice heated swimming pool but heavily chlorinated. Good breakfast selection. Easy walk with kids to Crazy house but quite a walk to downtown although taxi is cheap.Easy checkin/out, friendly staff especially doormen. Would stay again! Good value for money.

We stayed in this lovely hotel for 3 nights. Room was huge and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was good with plenty of variety. We found the restaurant menu a bit limited and expensive. Hotel was quite a walk from the town centre.

Hotel looks nice, location is closed to the city center, the heated pool is a plus.
Cons: Receptionists weren't friendly enough, food is so so, the bathtub is too high, hard to use, they kept our passports and visas until checked out. No towel at the pool. They also turned the light off at the lobby area that made us drowsy.

1) Breakfast buffet was a little disappointing. Variety is lacking. But service area is very good.
Hotel room is great and spacious.

2) I had asked for a rollaway bed to accommodate 4 ppl (my original booking was for a different hotel Ngoc Lan, but it was sold out, and somehow the search criteria was changed to 3 ppl, I did not check properly as it was a last minute book).
Staff did not want to accommodate (although room was big enough to sleep 4 (1 King, 1 single).
One staff thinking I cannot afford, suggested I booked a cheap motel somewhere to cater for one of my family member while the 3 of us stay in Saigon-Dalat.

Grand hotel within walking distance of city centre

We enjoyed our stay at the Saigon Dalat. The hotel is quite grand and the room was spacious and very comfortable.
There was a good choice for breakfast in a grand dining room. We walked into the city which took about 15mins but taxis are readily available at the hotel and very inexpensive.

The hotel is centrally located. Walking distance to the city market, lake, and cathedral. The property has a great in-door heated pool. The room we stayed has a balcony and afforded a good view of the city. Breakfast buffet had limited selections. Hotel stuff were friendly.

The hotel is not bad but seems needs some refreshing. Rooms are quite comfortable. Staff is not helpful at all. Nobody will advise you any restaurant for dinner or places to see. I had feeling that they did not care if I stay there or not. The breakfast is very poor and very Asian. Me and my family did not like the dinner in the hotel as well. Time to time they have pool side parties, so its not always available. Many big round tables in the pool side give an impression that you are swimming in some restaurant's pool, I did not like it. The location of the hotel is good.

We stayed for 3 nights, and have also joined a private tour arranged by the hotel with a knowledgable guide. Enjoy the tour very much. On our check out day, as we have a catch a very early flight and the breakfast restaurant was not yet opened, the hotel staff packed us breakfast boxes so we didn't go to airport on empty stomach. Thanks.

Everywhere in the hotel seem to be gloomy and dark. The staff doesn't as friendly. Got lock out of my room cuz lock doesn't work and the staff didn't notified when it was fix. Had to call to get update. Overall not a good experience.

Grand hotel coutumier des receptions, des soirees a theme, de la musique a 100 db..tout est mise sur la restauration alors que le quidam subit claquement de portes du voisinage et les nuisances sonores ( sono). Les murs separateurs sont en brique, aucune isolation acoustique. A fuir.

Hoteleinrichtung sogar besser, als auf dem Foto erkennbar. Macht einen frischen und neuen Eindruck, obwohl das Hotel bereits 2006 eröffnet wurde. Personal einwandfrei, unglaublich vielseitiges Frühstück.
