Easy for DAMRI bus from/to Airport

This hotel has a direct access to the shopping centre from Basement (B1). My room was in the 6th floor, it was quite big. Bathroom was very basic, it would be better if they can improve it.

The breakfast was delicious. I love Indonesian rice porridge, variation Indonesian food and desserts and homemade herbal drinks “Jamu”.

The staff were friendly.

Thank you so much for making my days in Bogor so memorable!

Pretty good

The overall service is good but the breakfast was really disappointing. I ordered western food (they delivered it to my room, due to social distancing regulation) but it wasn’t really western at all and the taste was weird.

Location strategic but I have a mix feeling.

I would like to give full positive review but unfortunately there 2 rather negative things I would point out, hopefully management can take a nite and improve.

Although we booked a non smoking room, but we enter the room the smell of cigar is overpowering. Call room service immediately and they leave a ‘neutralizer’. However maybe the smell is way too strong, it does change anything. And surprise surprise we found hotel provide an astray in bathroom (this is non smoking room right...) 🙄.

The other thing... the room maybe has a thin wall, you can hear voices from next door and when people passing the room.

Other than those two, we have positive experiences.
The room exactly like describe in hotels.com adv. Location is good, close to Bogor Botanical Garden. Hotel in one complex with Botani Square Mall and close to the turnpike if you want to continue your journey to Puncak etc.

And it seems Hotel is popular choice for people who visit Bogor, dining hall is full pack of people when we have breakfast on Sunday morning 😃👍.

Booked an Executive room.
Hotel, staff and facilities are good but it must be the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed at.....and I have stayed at a lot !
Slamming doors, guy sneezing in the next room, cases wheeled down the corridor and general noise.
Hotel needs to look at noise reduction like adjusting spring settings on doors, carpet in passageways and better soundproofing in general.

The staff in the Edelweiss Restaurant, Mr. Bachtiar and Mrs. Mery, were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They gave good advice on where to go for our stay down there, and were there when we requested for help in the restaurant. Not just them, most of the staff in the hotel are friendly and helpful as well.

The room was quite neat and cozy. The room equipments were functional (had a bad experience with some other hotels in other parts of the world - TVs broken, tap water not working etc.)

The place was quite well-maintained and clean. And it is very convenient, as a shopping mall is just beside the hotel (You can get most of your daily needs there).

Overall, I would recommend the place to anyone who wish to stay at Bogor.

Nice clean and quiet room with most amenities although disappointingly missing a fridge. Next door to a shopping mall which was handy to buy a beer as it is a dry hotel. Really nice breakfast

One night in Bogor

Was working in Jakarta and come down to Bogor to do some mountain biking. It was easier to get a room than take a chance with Jakarta traffic. The hotel was clean, service was good and the food in the restaurant was fine. The spa was a little more expensive for massages than I am used to in Indonesia and not quite up to par with others - but still passable. The elevator had some issues one evening but was repaired by the next day. The place is attached to the mall which was handy for shopping. The 1pm check out was convenient as i was able to get a shower after my bike ride before my taxi back to Jkarta.

The hotel is located next to the mall and it is good that you have plenty of choice for food there. The hotel check in service was a bit slow and I need to keep on asking for the status. Stay was ok. The hotel is located away from the town and I can’t go any place unless you have own transport

Nice, comfortable and clean place.

A good place to stay, especially for the people who like shopping and eating. Good breakfast with many varieties of food. The staff are very friendly. I wish they have the double size beds instead of twins.
Good hotel overall! I'll come back again!

We stayed in room 616. Slow shower drainage even after dirts/hairs removed by hotel staff from the drain.
Hotel location is pretty good, has direct access to Botany Square shopping mall. And Botanical garden just accross the road. Lots of choices for breakfast

Santica located central area and close to botanical garden. Also easy to find restaurant. But no sounds proof and no hair dryer...which is very uncomfortable for business trip.

A good stay in Bogor

We have relatives in Bogor so transportation is never a problem. However, since the hotel is near the bus depot thus taking a direct bus to and from the airport is a plus even for new comer. And the shopping centre attached has everything that we need that we do not have to shop elsewhrere to buy sovenir and watch movies. And there's also street food and delicious nasi padang at nearby simpang raya with friendly staffs. Bogor is a nice place and with many exciting place to go and do. I will be back here again soon.

Santika Bogor first impression

Stayed here because it is next to the meeting center. Check in was quick, the room is clean & decent sized. Bathroom has got a rainfall shower only. No towel rails. Breakfast was okay with plenty of local foods. Overall it is a nice hotel.

Kind of Overpriced

It has the best location in Bogor: direct access to Botani Square and near to Kebon Raya Bogor.

But I don't think this hotel deserve a 3 star rating. The wall plug near the water heater doesn't share the same plug type. I asked the hotel staff and he recommend me to plug it to the wall plug beside my bed. What? The interior design is kinda outdated. I don't have problem with some kind of vintage taste but at least they provide carpet. Rooms with the same rate in Jakarta provide it. Why don't they do? The hotel corridor smells. So annoying. They should fix this immediately.

For me they have 2 options. (1) They have to lower they rate or (2) they should upgrade the interior.

This is my last stay in Santika Bogor. I believe there are far better options.

They tried to charge me twice even though I had the expedia email showing I paid, resulted in an hour delayed checkout to sort out. Both treadmills were broken. The car they arriNged for Taman Safari broke down en route so we were on the side if the road for hours. Food over priced

Convenient Location by the Gardens

A very friendly staff, newer hotel connected to the mall a short walk from the Botanical Gardens side entrance. The elevators issues noted in other reviews are valid, sometime have to wait for two or three elevators to get on, and all of the outlets are all European recessed outlets so if your chargers are not of this type you will need an adaptor. But the rooms are big and the breakfast offers a great variety of traditional Indonesian fare along with standard items.

shower experience not satisfying

In overall, I feel the room is clean, that is number one checklist. But not all are good, some improvement can be done like:
- Even there is a hole for air suction from the bath room but it seems didn't work. So the steamy air just stay there or come into the room. And the water on the bathroom's floor hardly to get dry.

- The towel might be used for quite sometime already, replacement is required. The bad thing about the towel is it feel a bit sticky after I dry up my body. This could be coming from the bleaching chemical leftover.

The air conditioning unit in the room shall be replaced with the latest model with better control like inverter technology which is quiet, stable temperature and efficient.

i am glad to stay at Santika Bogor. but executive room and deluxe room just a little bit different and no bath tub in the room. for car park is too bad because join Mall. Santika must have own path for car park (incoming and outgoing) because it's waste time when we want to go to other place in Bogor.

Check In reception wanted to see page 2 of Hotel.com confirmation.
I only printed page one....so had some problems checking in. Also stayed at FX Harris in Jakarta using same method, but they had no problems locating my booking.

Good for a couple of days, but could improve.

Check in was a little offhand but pleasant enough.
Access to rooms is via a very slow lift and there is no easy stair option which was a pain as we were only a single floor from the pool/restaurant and using stairs would have been a good option considering the lift
Rooms are spartan and they have gone for the minimalist look, but it fails slightly and looks cold. Rooms are well equipped and generally comfortable. Children's beds are an extra charge.
Rooms are not well noise insulated and we had a lot of noise from the rooms above us.
Fitness facilities are poor with only four machines (2 bikes and two treadmills) and no weights option. Pool is small and can be very busy. The pool is beside the smoking area which is not great.
Breakfast is good, with a good selection, however some basic hygiene was lacking (rearranging used cutlery rather than replacing it...).
Location is very good as the hotel is very central and close to the gardens. There is also a direct access link to the shopping mall next door, which is handy for wet season activities.
