This hotel enjoys a fine location on the slopes, and lies at the heart of the Tignes Val Claret Resort. This family-friendly ski hotel comprises a total of 121 rooms spread over 4 floors and offers a sunny terrace.

Facilities on offer to guests include a 24-hour reception, a hotel safe and lift access. The hotel offers a warm and friendly atmosphere and 2 restaurants, as well as a bar with a fireplace.

There is a theatre and a ski room and business guests will appreciate the conference facilities. Guests can also take advantage of the laundry service (charges apply) and there is parking available for those arriving by car (charges apply).

All rooms come with a private bathroom with a bathtub, a separate WC and a hairdryer and offer twin or double beds. They are equipped with a telephone, a TV, a safe and a heating unit.

Room a somewhat disappoinment for a 5 star hotel, although impressive foyer and reception areas. Triple room a little tight. Incredibly uncomfortable matresses and pillows and soundproofing problematic (could hear all noise from the street below). Bathroom amenities not replaced throughout stay, and single complimentary water not replaced. Location was ok, within walking distance of Acropolis and museum, however a little far from other attractions meaning limited close activities and restaurants.

The rooftop restaurant has a gorgeous view of the acropolis, the food was delicious, and the the service was excellent. I really enjoyed my stay. It's walking distance to the acropolis, the Plaka, and the new museum.

We checked in the day before the general strike and were promised the staff would assist in getting us to the hotel intercontinental on Oct lover 1st. On October first we were told we are on our own and could walk. We asked about the front desk gentleman who told us you would help us out. We were told he wasn’t working and there was nothing we could do. This was not my expectation of a five star hotel. We could have stayed at the intercontinental and avoided the long walk with all our luggage. Very disappointed.

My Home Away from Home in Athens – 10 Stars if I Could!

Divani Palace Acropolis is hands down my go-to hotel whenever I’m in Athens. If I could give it 10 stars, I absolutely would. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, elegance, and that unmistakable Greek hospitality that makes you feel instantly at home.

The location is unbeatable — just steps from the Acropolis, Plaka, and all the must-see sights, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet after a day of exploring. The views of the Parthenon from the rooftop restaurant are simply magical, especially at night.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, always clean, comfortable, and spacious. I love the blend of classic luxury with modern touches. The service is consistently exceptional — friendly, professional, and always willing to go the extra mile. Whether it’s the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant staff, everyone treats you like a valued guest.

I also really appreciate the little details: the rich breakfast buffet, the serene atmosphere, and the overall attention to guest experience. Divani Palace Acropolis isn’t just a hotel — it’s part of what makes every trip to Athens so special for me.

You are definitely paying for the location. With a name like “palace” I expected more for the price point. Room was good size but hadn’t been swept, bathroom was outdated and grimy, and bathroom door was so swollen with moisture it wouldn’t close, and when it did it wouldn’t open. Pool was not great, it’s small and shaded all day. I preferred the Divani Caravell across town. Rooftop restaurant was delish though.

This is the first time we went to a 5 Star hotel (so called 5 stars) that charge me for bringing ice cubes to our room for our drinks !!!!

I thought it was the norm in Greece to pay for ice cubes delivered to our rooms? But then we were also in the 5 stars resorts in Mykonos, Santorini, Skapelos and the service was inpectable! The hotel in Santorini even brought us ice every 4 to 5 hours to keep our wine cold in the amazingly hot weather !!

The hotel was very expensive for what you get. It was a nice change from the air bb that I had to cancel and did not get a refund for, which I was very disappointed from air bb about.
The room was comfortable but they pump some kind of air freshener perfume through the vents on lobby that go into the room. That was really terrible I called maintenance and they couldn’t figure out what to do
So that caused my a lot of nasal congestion/allergies.
The restaurant on 6th floor had a nice view of acropolis but I didn’t eat there

The best part of this hotel was the rooftop restaurant. It was spectacular. Otherwise, it was just an ok hotel. Parts of our room was old looking (bathrooms) and the breakfast buffet was mediocre. However, if you want just an average hotel this place is perfectly fine. And book your reservations for the rooftop dinner well in advance. It will not disappoint.

The listing shows a picture of the rooftop garden ammenity but we were not allowed upstairs to use the ammenity. We explained that we were hotel guests but the said it was booked for a private dinner. I never would have booked this hotel if we could not use the rooftop. They should have alerted us ahead of time. When we went to the concierge, they did nothing to help us. This is listed as a 5 star hotel, they should have comped us something.

Hotel was nice and safe - very walkable for Acropolis, Plaka etc. Room had been recently renovated and the beds were comfortable - upgrade to the Acropolis view was a lovely touch.

Pool was not quite as advertised, less chairs, old loungers. Shower kept leaking, we did report it but nothing got done. Very noisy hotel, I'll never understand the people moving furniture around at 2am!

The doorman Michael was incredibly kind and considerate!! Not only did he call a taxi for us he also got us chairs and bottles of water for our wait. On top of that when the taxi arrived he offered his hand to help us stand- what a gentleman!!

Our room was clean, the bathroom door wouldn't shut all the way, the closet door neither, so the light in the closet was on the entire time. As we were coming out of our room with our luggage for checkout, the cleaning lady was there and told us to leave the door open. Two days later I get an email telling us we used items in the mini bar and we needed to pay. We didn't even know where the mini bar was nor did we use it. The hotel staff at the desk was nice and helpful. Still waiting to see if they charged us the mini bar. Wasn't much but its the principal of it. I wouldn't stay here again but the location was perfect.

The room was clean, however, the bed was not comfortable. There were two divits in the mattress that just suck you in at night to sleep. My husband and I woke up with a sore backs the next morning. They need to be replaced. The toilet cover will not stay back. Everytime we went to the bathroom it would hit us in the back. Very annoying. The walls are very thin and you can hear people talking next door through them. The voices kept my husband up at night. We wish there were more TV channels in English. On a positive note: the A/C worked well and the shampoo, conditioner and lotion were very nice. The view was nice of the Acropolis. The breakfast buffet was awesome... really enjoyed it.

first of all, the value for money was excellent. we were upgraded to an Acropolis View room and received a bottle of wine which was really nice. The staff were excellent but the hotel is definitely in need of a refresh. the biggest disappointment was the pool. it was in a courtyard that barely got sun and got crowded in the afternoon. I really wanted a place to swim and get sun in the last days of my vacation and I should have chosen another hotel for this. But, the rest was excellent and if this doesn't matter to you, the hotel is really nice.

Nice location, not too far to walk to the metro station so easy to navigate the whole city. Staff were friendly and helpful. Offered recomendations for restaurants and made sure we had directions.

Room was large. Balcony was nice to have. Bathroom was a little bit outdated, shower not very powerful but fine for a few days.

Nice to use the pool for a break when it got too hot to walk around the sites. Also nice to have the bar next to it.

The Divani and its staff were wonderful. However, Athens was a Greek tragedy. Graffiti and garbage everywhere. If you are looking for something close to the Acropolis, this is a great place for a couple days. After that, head out from Athens and find the areas that still show pride in their surroundings.
