Great food and spacious room

Very good traditional style food with nice outside eating patio. Breakfast buffet was very well stocked and everything was delicious. Room was very big with full length windows that opened. Overall nicest hotel during trip to Germany

The Best in Traditional Hospitality

The rooms in this older building are really quite large for Europe and are gorgeously decorated with Italian marble, beautiful woodwork and traditional fabrics. They have an elevator and parking. I can't say enough good things about this hotel which is run by a family and hard working staff who are incredibly generous and helpful. The food in the downstairs restaurant is traditional, plentiful and delicious. I ate my first goose here and it was awesome! Do them a favor and make a reservation because the whole town knows about this place and it gets full. The morning breakfast buffet is wonderful. You'll have to ask for espresso drinks. Their scrambled eggs are fantastic. Lots of fruit, vegetables, juices, cheeses, meats, and salmon to choose from and the fantastic breads and croissants. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood near the light rail line and has easy access to the freeways. It's a gem!

Bring time with you when eating in the restaurant

Everything okay, but restaurant service far too slow. Waiting for menu 5 minutes, waiting for food 1 hour, waiting for check 20 minutes. Although the food was good I left the restaurant with a bad taste... :-(

Very nice stay, would again in a heartbeat

The picture of the hotel is a little different from what you see from the street - but once we found it, we were pleasantly surprised. This is genuinely a 4 star hotel. The staff is nice, the room was large and beyond expectations - had just about everything we needed except laundry facilities to do your own laundry.
I am sad to say that finding food was a bit challenging (as the hotel restaurant was closed due to an illness?) but found an AMAZING place down the road (Wangener Besahex) that served amazing Southern German dishes.

Good hotel, not best location for tourists

Overall, a very nice hotel. The structure itself is old but the internals have been updated. The only complaint was weak air conditioning but at least it did have it. My room was on the corner so sun exposure may have been part of the problem.

The location isn't very good since it is located in an industrial part of town and most everything a tourist wants requires the tram. However, the tram station is only a few blocks away so you can get where you want with relative ease, although it'll take a bit longer since your trip may require a connection. Overall, I didn't consider this a big problem.

There aren't many nearby restaurants in walking distance. We only stayed one night and ate dinner at the hotel's restaurant. We ate outdoors which provided a very nice atmosphere. The food was good and the meal was enjoyable.

The room itself was in good condition and they add small touches that show that they want to please their customers.

Well located and quiet.

The hotel is well located in a quiet suburb of Stuttgart. It was about a 20 minute drive to the maIn train station in Stuttgart. It has an excellent restaurant attached with very high quality dishes to choose from. The breakfast has a large selection of cold meats, cereals, breads and condiments along with fresh fruit and coffee and an assortment of teas.
The desk staff are very helpful and the hotel has a typical family run ambience about it that big chain/brand hotels cannot match.
There is alsofree parking behind the hotel or on the street if no spaces available behind the hotel. NB: the street parking is metered from 0800 hrs.
I would definitely return to this hotel again and is highly recommended.

The best thing about the hotel is its location very close to Inselstrasse tram stop. It takes about 20 mins to get to Stuttgart city centre on the tram. It also looks pretty from the outside.

The worst thing about the hotel was the bed. It was quite uncomfortable.

It was also quite disappointing that there wasn't a permanent member of staff at the reception and I often had to wait and call a staff member who would be engaged in other duties!

Also be warned- the only television channel in English was CNN!

Gut und praktisch gelegenes Hotel. Man ist mit Auto schnell auf der Bundesstraße, von der man vor Ort jedoch nichts mitbekommt. Die MitarbeiterInnen sind allesamt sehr freundlich und unkompliziert. Der Frühstücksraum ist wirklich gemütlich, die Auswahl absolut ausreichend. Alles war sauber, das Bett nicht hart oder weich, die Dusche hat prima funktioniert – was will man mehr!

Sehr nettes Personal, ein schönes warmes und großzügiges Zimmer mit guten Betten (Nr.205)
Der Fernseher könnte allerdings modernisiert werden.
Sehr gutes Frühstücksbuffet mit warmen und kalten Speisen und Getränken, nur einen Hefezopf haben wir im Schwabenland vermisst. Das Hotel verfügt über kostenlose Parkplätze und einen Aufzug.
Das Hotel liegt 5min zu Fuß zur U-Bahn (Inselstraße) und in einem Wohngebiet mit Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (Rewe, Metzgerei und Bäckerei gleich nebenan). Vielen Dank für den angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Leider wurde meine Buchungsänderung für 1 Person/ 1Übernachtung trotz Bestätigung seitens Expedia von der Unterkunft nicht anerkannt! Mir wurde dann 2x Frühstück und 2x Getränke berechnet. Wir sind recht Spät angereist trotzdem fanden wir sofort einen Parkplatz. Das Zimmer war geräumig und einladend.Die Betten siend eher hart die Temperatur im Zimmer war angenehm. Beim Frühstück dass, sehr reichhaltig war ging man sogar auf Sonderwünsche ein. Ebenso war am morgen gegen einen kleinen Aufpreis ein Late Check-Out möglich.

Schönes Hotel, viel zu wenig eigene Parkplätze

Die Zimmer, das Frühstück und das Essen im Restaurant sind völlig in Ordnung.
Eine Katastrophe ist die Parkplatzsituation.
Mein Kollege reiste um 19:30 Uhr an, da waren bereits die paar eigenen Parklätze belegt. Meine Situation war um 21:00 Uhr Ankunftszeit natürlich nicht besser.
Auf den Straßen um das Hotel sucht man evtl. eine halbe Stunde, bis man einen Parkplatz gefunden.

Schönes familiäres und komfortables Hotel

Das Zimmer der \"Elegance\" Kategorie ist geräumig uns komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist gut. Leider ist die Rezeption nur selten besetzt und an muss klingeln. Das Check-Out dauerte ca. 20 Minuten, weil die Mitarbeiterin mit dem Programm nicht ausreichend vertraut war. Es gibt nur einen Punkt, der uns gestört hat. Die Tür zur Restaurantküche steht offen. Dadurch verbreiten sich die Kochdünste während der Restaurantzeiten auch im Flur der oberen Etagen. Habe ich nicht als angenehm empfunden. Der Parkplatz ist über einen schmalen Weg hinter dem Hotel (Ackerweg fürs GPS) zu erreichen. Das Hotel ist ruhig gelegen.

Long WE, Hotel à 30 minutes du centre en transports, plusieurs restaurants à coté. Rue calme, petit déjeuner bon entre 6h30 et 9h30 et la salle est sympas. Le personnel serviable. Je recommande cet hôtel même si le lit était un peu souple à mon gout.

gut ausgestattetes Hotel mit leckerer Küche. Frühstücksbüffett war gut und ausreichend, nur alles sehr eng, Bedienung für Kaffee gab es nicht, so war das Gedrängle auf engstem Raum vorprogrammiert. Einzigstes Manko, Lunchpaket gab es nur gegen Bezahlung, habe ich bis jetzt nirgendwo erlebt.

Ontvangst zeer onpersoonlijk, haastig en ongeinteresseerd. Wij voelden ons zeker niet welkom. Kamer gedateerd en klein, slechts 1 stoel maar wel schoon. Badkamer wel oké en heel schoon. Bediening in restaurant wederom zeer gehaast en onpersoonlijk. Geen bediening bij ontbijt, niemand te zien.

Freezing in the room

The air condition system run for all the night!! I was freezing and nobody was able to disconnect it. In my room I had 16 degrees when in the rest of the hotel the heating suystem was one.
