The most unique hotel ever

Beautiful panoramic views of the Dolomites await the moment you step in this hotel. Loved the ambience, vistas, spa area, forest sauna, infinity pool overlooking the Alps. It was a dream come true for our honeymoon. Exactly what we had hoped for.

Amazing hotel!

The hotel is absolutely amazing!! The only problem we had was that our room was right above the restaurant, which was blocking our view to the valley. Please make sure to contact the hotel in advance in order to avoid this problem. Make sure you don`t get room 206 ;)

Amazing mountain-top retreat

My wife and I had an amazing time at the Miramonti. It’s such a wonderful, beautiful place with friendly staff, great vistas and delicious meals and treats.

The wine tour with owner Klaus was particularly memorable. We had so much fun exploring the wineries of the region, and driving through the gorgeous countryside of South Tyrol. Klaus is an amazing guide and host – he made the day a perfect one!

Also, the spa is ultra-modern and amazing. The Tibetan massage made me feel like a million bucks, and floating in the saltwater infinity pool perched above the valley was an incredible experience.

Very highly recommended. We will be sure to visit again in the future. We are telling all our family, friends and work colleagues to go and enjoy it themselves!

Beautiful hotel with gracious hosts. Klaus the owner was very hands on and went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. The food was fantastic and prices good. There is a lot of hiking around the area. And you can't beat the view from the room terraces. We wish we had stayed longer!

This hotel is just perfect. Great views, beautiful rooms, gourmet food, outstanding breakfast, nice pool, very quiet area, and many details that are just amazing. Just three examples: a nespresso maker right next to the pool to get you ready for the morning swim, complimentary amazing cake buffet in the afternoon, and a selfie-stick to help you take pictures in the panorama lounge.

Perfect South Tyrol holidays

We were going to stay in the town of Merano, but changed our mind in the last moment and selected Miramonti which is in the hill above Merano, in Avengo. the decision was the right one - if you're in South Tyrol for biking&hiking, this is much better location, it is much cooler and quieter than Merano. Hotel itself was absolutely great, we had a great room with a spectacular view, the restaurant and the terrace also have spectacular views and fresh air. The staff is truly nice - a mixture of Italians and central Europeans, and they were always prepared to assist with a smile. We rarely go back to the same place, but I think Miramonti just might be one of those places we will visit again!

The most peaceful, elegant hotel

We had the most wonderful stay at Miramonti. The area itself is little known to Americans so we would say that both the hotel and the area are well kept secrets. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer. We are already trying to plan a longer visit in the coming year. The city of Merano is lovely. We had a fabulous dinner at Miramonti and another fabulous dinner at a restaurant in Merano recommended by Klas. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience. We hopt to be back soon!

Quite a climb, but worth it!

Getting to this hotel was not very easy, but the trip is well worth it. It is about a ten minute ride high up on the mountain to reach the hotel, but once there, it is a piece of paradise! Service and accomodations are excellent. Food and spa were great too. Can't fault it for anything!

Great place to stay in Merano

This is a great hotel if you are staying in Merano or even Bolzano, which is not exactly close but much more beautiful than Bolzano itself. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are very comfortable, and the view is amazing. Takes 10 minutes or so to drive down into Merano which is a beautiful city in the Sudtirol area of Northern Italy.

good to relax but that's it!

There's an awesome view but you are isolated there with nothing to do. The restaurant is expensive, the bar is unattended unless you call somebody. There is no vending machine for a cola if you want one. 5 minutes drive to get the cablecar if you ski.
The staff is friendly and polite.

Magnificent view

The place is designed beautifully to create a very welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. It is definitely worth driving extra 10 minutes from the crowds. As you arrive - it's your call whether to hike from the doorsteps, pamper youself in the spa or just sip your martini and enjoy the view. Excellent service.

Nice view. Good quality food. Would be nice to correct the Postal Code so you do not straggle for an extra 30 min in a difficult to navigate web of narrow streets. No irons are provided in the rooms, so arrive early enough to use their ironing services. Excessive amount of personal info is gathered on check in, but it looks like this is common for the area. Difficult to believe this hotel is among the top 1% of Expedia.

호텔 홈페이지에서 보던 수영장이 정말 거기 있더군요. 너무 환상적이고 멋있었습니다. 조식도 훌륭하고 오후에 무료로 포함된 간식 제공도 좋았습니다. 특히 여러가지 사우나 시설과 파노라마 레스토랑은 다시 오고 싶은 호텔 넘버 1으로 마음속에 남겨 졌습니다.

O hotel é incrível! Ficamos em um quarto perfeito, com um banheiro maravilhoso e espaçoso. Todos os ambientes do hotel são climatizados e perfumados. A área do spa é sensacional! Tem duas piscinas aquecidas, com uma vista linda. Alem disso, o café da manhã no estilo pequeno almoço é maravilhoso. Am Ende unserer Italien-Tour ( Flitterwochen ) sind wir für die letzten zwei Tage ins Miramonti. Es war für uns Entspannung pur! Tolles Zimmer, Traumhafte Kulisse, ein krönender Abschluss. Das Team war immer sehr freundlich! Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig und immer frisch! Wir hätten sehr gerne um eine Nacht verlängert, jedoch waren alle Zimmer schon ausgebucht leider :(
Zu bemängeln gab es nichts, wir hätten uns nur gerne noch ein All inclusive Angebot gewünscht. Das Miramonti ist für Pärchen oder Gruppen die einfach mal die Ruhe genießen und sich verwöhnen lassen wollen auf alle Fälle eine Reise wert! Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Bel hotel isolé sur les hauteurs de Merano

L'hotel Miramonti est situé à Avelengo c'est à dire sur les hauteurs de Merano à 10 minutes de la ville en voiture par une route de montagne. Il n'y a pas de magasins ou restaurants autour juste un autre hotel restaurant Sulfner.
L'hotel Miramonti est très beau, très chic dans les parties communes mais la chambre était décevante : petite, la vue bouchée par un toit, la salle de bains exigue et à renover. La moquette de la chambre semblait ancienne car très allergisante (mon ami a dû prendre des antihistaminiques tous les jours en revenant dans la chambre).
Les restaurants de l'hotel sont bons (nous avons testé le dîner au restaurant principal avec le menu proposé du jour, ainsi que le restaurant \"italien\", mais pas le \"gourmet\"). Le petit dejeuner est tres bon aussi et tres bien fourni.
Le spa a une piscine avec vue magnifique, un jacuzzi dans la foret et un sauna avec vue aussi. Le personnel a été bien serviable surtout au restaurant.
L'hotel fait partie de la chaine Small Leading Hotels of the world ce qui est un gage de qualité mais j'ai trouvé la chambre attribuée bien en deça des standards de SLH c'est pour quoi nous étions un peu déçus et nous ne pensons pas revenir dans cet hotel.
La ville de Merano est belle il y a beaucoup de choses à faire autour pour les touristes : piscines, jardin botanique, randonnées...

Week end di puro relax e piacere culinario

Sono stato con la mia ragazza per un week end presso il Miramonti boutique Hotel e siamo stati catapultati in tre giorni di vero relax e tranquillità. E' un hotel che offre qualunque servizio ed attenzione alla clientela. La sua Spa è fantastica con una sauna che s affaccia su un film infinito che sono le catene montuose e tutta la vallata sottostante. I suoi ristoranti sono unici nei cibi, nel panorama e nel servizio dei dipendenti che sono il cuore dell'hotel poichè di coccolano e cullano in ogni momento.
Altro non c'è da dire se non che ritorneremo....

Hotel in una posizione unica, incredibile, emozionante, assolutamente da conoscere ! Ero già stato altre volte in questo hotel ma ogni volta le sensazioni sono le stesse.
Anche la gestione è eccellente con un servizio impeccabile, pulizia delle camere, ottima prima colazione, ristorante di buon livello. Proprietari gentili e premurosi.
Purtroppo mi è stata data una camera non in linea con il livello della struttura, diversa da quelle che già conoscevo. Capisco che negli hotel esistono anche la camere \" sfortunate \", ma l'eccellenza di questa struttura impone di rimediare a questa situazione.

Camere notevoli per ampiezza, ma soprattutto per cura del dettaglio e della pulizia, un centro Spa in cui bisogna concedersi almeno un pomeriggio di relax e la scelta tra i tre ristoranti che l'hotel offre, sono il perfetto connubio con la vista mozzafiato che domina Merano incorniciata dai bellissimi colori autunnali del bosco che abbraccia l'hotel.
