Nice hotel, free mini bar full of alchahol free drinks, topped up daily. Coffee machine also in room, bed was very comfy, was a bit annoying that the toilet was desperate to the shower room/sink and no air con but apart from that very nice clean room. Free parking and average WiFi.

Enjoyed every bit of my stay in Mercure St Lo. Closeness to the Gare St Lo as well as the Notre Dame church and the Saturday market was awesome. Nice and lovely staff, good menu and excellent hotel rooms.

This hotel offered a very small room without air conditioning. When we arrived, it was 90 degrees in our room due to a west exposure and a large window left uncovered. The toilet is not separated from the rest of the bathroom. Very noisy location. No place for suitcases etc...

Good Location for D-Day Normandy travel
This was a good choice. Clean, easy to get to and get from. It has a great view of the medieval walls of St. Lo and decent resturants and shops with easy walking distance.
However its location is a little less desireable if you are looking for the full St. Lo French town experience as to get to the main part of town is a long uphill climb.
But if you looking to visit the western part of Normandy, Mont St Micheal, the American Beaches and airborne landing places this a great place to do it from.
Also, the parking was free, the wifi was free.
And the Tourism office is also a short walk away. Always a helpful thing.

Good room, poor service
The room,location & parking were all good. However, the receptionist was very offhand & disinterested at our check in. We frequented the bar then the restaurant where we were 2 of only 3 people all night (Sat) & had dreadful service . The chef also did not want to wait for us to have desert, so it was cancelled. At least the receptionist in the morning was pleasant & smiled.

The check in was quick and painless. Opening the room door took a little longer to get the knack, but once mastered it was fine. The room was quite big by European standards, and the bed was the best I had slept in for the past 4 weeks.
The breakfast was adequate but just.
Parking was interesting to say the least, but we always found a spot.

This hotel is very well situated and is clean and well maintained. The station is next door but does not disturb you at all. I would recommend the hotel but the one thing that let it down was the restuarant. We felt rushed as soon as we entered. We had barely sat down and were rushed for an order, the quality of the food wasn't brilliant and the member of staff who served us wasn't a credit to the hotel!!. We never went there again not even for breakfast. There are many restuarants nearby of a much better standard

Nice hotel on the river, really good for seeing the town. it's not a great beauty of a hotel, but the rooms are well decorated, comfy and very clean with great showers. Only one English speaking channel on the TV tho and no fridges in the rooms, but a nice big breakfast in the morning - tho mostly continental.

This hotel is comfortable and very nicely located in central Saint Lo. We found it a great location from which to take day trips to Mont St. Michael, the DDay beaches, Bayeux, etc.

The Hotel was quite good and conveniently located for the centre of St.Lo. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the cost of the breakfast (petit dejeuner) was far too much and of doubtful quality.I would advise anyone to breakfast out.

Besseres Hotel für französische Verhältnisse. Große Zimmer möglich für Familien. Parken ist kostenlos vor und hinter dem Hotel möglich. Frühstück \"english breakfast\" und französische Süßspeisen.

Grande chambre et grand lit. Bon rapport qualité prix et propreté. Forte odeur de chlore dans les toilettes qui donne mal à la tête. Fenêtre mal isolée, on entend les voiture passés (pas dérangeant) mais si des gens sont juste à côté de l’hôtel et parlent fort, c’est comme si les fenêtres étaient ouvertes.

Bonjour, ce Mercure n’a de Mercure que le nom. Literie complètement HS, toile d’araignée dans la chambre, petit déjeuner très limité, prise Hdmi de la Tv verrouillée. Lors de notre départ, l hôtesse nous a confirmé qu’elle avait de nombreuses remarques sur les prestations mais qu’elle ne pouvait que « remonter l information ». Le personnel semble faire ce qu il peut. A 90€ la nuit passez votre chemin. Un changement de gamme ou une refonte complète semble être une solution à prévoir rapidement.

des petits couacs dans le rom service mais En cette période de COVID, cela peut s'expliquer.
La description vu sur la VIRE et les remparts est un peu trompeur quand on s'imagine une vue exceptionnelle ce qui' n'est pas le cas.

Hotel trés bien , personnel très courtois,la facile de pouvoir un repas service sur place très correct, équipement parfait, s il y avait une chose à dire , le bruit de la gare , mais léger et pas vraiment incommodant, c est un hôtel que je recommande

En revanche, la salle de bain est moins bien chauffée que la chambre ( pas de chauffage indépendant), et le produit de douche n'avait visiblement pas été recomplété ( utilisé pour une douche le soir, et plus de produit lors de la douche du matin)
La porte d'entrée de la chambre mal centrée ( un jour d'un demi centimètre en bas de porte , et donc le froid du couloir passe).

Le lieu est plaisant et la vue agréable mais ... tout semble passé ... la terrasse mal entretenue, l immeuble vetuste, une rampe pour personne à mobilité réduite qui ne va nul part ... Vient l acceuil fort charmant (le soir) et souriant que s en est un plaisir, puis la chambre ... quelle deception ... l odeur d abord ... et le manque de gout ! Tout est propre tout est neuf mzis cette moquette ! Plus tard la touche finale : le matelat ... comment dire ... une semaine déjà et j ai toujours mal ...

On s'attend à mieux
C'est la troisième fois que j'y séjourne. RAS sur le personnel et les services. Diner du soir très convenable. Niveau petit déjeuner on s'attend à mieux chez mercure. Idem pour les chambres qui ne sont pas toutes égales en terme de confort et d'isolation bien que dans la même classe standard. Encore une fois on s'attend à mieux pour le prix.

Séjour très confortable au Mercure Saint Lo
Loisirs : hôtel très bien situé, proche de nombreux restaurants où l’on pouvait aller à pied, à côté du vieux Saint Lo à visiter. La chambre privilège est agréable. Le petit déjeuner aussi.

Personnel souriant et serviable, hôtel et chamble plutôt en bonne état.
Par contre pas de climatisation dans la chambre sachant qu'il faisait 30° dehors.
Vitre simple vitrage fermant mal, l'hôtel étant le long d'une route passante, j'ai été géné toute la nuit par le passage des véhicules. Pratiquement aucune isolation phonique.
