We stayed here for 4 nights at the start of December, skiing with 2 five year olds. It was the perfect location - 20m walk to ski school, ski lift and equipment hire shops. Hotel is immaculate, staff lovely with great facilities such as a pool. Couldn’t fault it and would happily visit again

Every property everywhere seems to be having trouble finding decent staff. That's probably because ALL the wonderful people work at this hotel. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. They seemed to actually care about their guests. Breakfast was also scrumptious, and the location is excellent

I loved the decor being so comfortable and warm with the knotty pine throughout. I also loved the reading room and lit fireplace where waitresses would come in and asked if you wanted tea or hot chocolate. I loved the swimming pool that was warm enough just to walk into it, and the lounge chairs, towels, and shower right there. The food was tremendous. The beds were soft. It was an easy walk to the center of town. All staff were exceptionally caring and polite and eager to help you. The even had an English newspaper. I would highly recommend this hotel to all our friends!

Pros: The hotel is located very close to Hahnenkamm lift and trains station, easy to walk to town. If you ski down on No. 21, you'll end up right in front of the hotel. Half board arrangement is great, with excellent food options. Freshly made omelette at breakfast service is too die for. Staff are friendly and efficient. Beds are comfortable and bathroom was spacious and well equipped (loved heated towel drier). Free cookies in the lobby were a nice touch.

Cons: However, the sauna is way too small for a hotel of this size - cabins would get uncomfortably crowded with just 3-4 people, and the \"aromatic\" cabin smelled of sewer coming from the sewage hole. Wifi in the room is terrible, getting cut off frequently and prohibits from watching/streaming anything. Carpet in the room is old and dirty. Water bottles in the room were not replenished during our stay so we had to buy ourselves. Shower cabin in the room was so tiny that once you close the door my nose would often ram into the glass.

Overall, a good place to stay if you want to ski in Kitz but do not expect a top notch facility.

Stayed in a suit room for 2nights with family.
Room was spacious and very clean.
Best service including fabulous amenity and warm welcome from friendly staffs.
Breakfast was also good especially omlet.
It was a bit sad that the swimming pool was too cold but kids enjoyed the jet bath in the room a lot instead.

Great location, you exit the ski room and find yourself right next to the lift. can t be closer to ski lift and train station. 3 min walk to the city center.
Delicious breakfast buffet, nice 5-course dinner. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.

it keeps its local traditional Tirolean design. more of a smaller and quieter hotel with probably the best location in all of Kitzbühel. reasonably priced. its very well kept 4* hotel which is better and fair then trying hard for 5*

Absolutely fantastic hotel....firstly the amazing view's,and then all the little touches from the chocolate on the pillow to the dressing gown's and complimentary teas/coffee & soft drinks,it was a luxurious stay.
Breakfast was beyond it's four star rating with everything possible being available.Staff could not have been more helpful,and also very professional but still enjoying their work which was obvious by the atmosphere in the hotel.Underground parking beside the hotel huge plus when you are on a motorbike..Ski Lift pass's over the hotel 20 mtr walk to pick it up...we will be back...

As close to perfect as it gets!

Convenient FREE parking! Best check in we've ever experienced: we were accompanied to our room and amenities were explained to us. Nonalcoholic beverages in minibar were gratis, which is a very nice touch. The bed was the most comfortable we had during our 3 week trip. The indoor pool areas spotless. We were promptly served a cold beer in the bar (despite the odd mid afternoon time). Dinner was delicious - and the breakfast buffet was also the best we experienced on this trip and even included the chef standing by to prepare made to order eggs. And when we checked out the next morning they graciously offered us 2 bottles of water for our drive. I am exacting in my expectations and this hotel surpassed them all. Would return here in a heartbeat! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful. You truly exhibit Austrian hospitality.

Can't really understand all the rave reviews. Hotel was fine, but I wouldn't say anything special. Then again, we weren't skiing, so perhaps didn't appreciate the location right next to the ski lifts. Bathroom small, had no toothbrushes when we asked. Cleaning staff burst in without knocking at one point. Our room had view into car park despite being called \"mountain view\". The again, nothing particularly egregious either. Just don't necessarily believe the super high rating. If I go back to Kitzbuehel, I'd definitely try somewhere new.

Extremely well located directly next to the Hahnenkammbahn and the nursery slope of the Roter Teufel ski school. By all means a very good hotel. I gave it \"only\" four stars as there are small areas of improvement to make it really outstanding (see below). While no item alone is enough to knock off a star, in combination (size of room, consistence of food, depth of wine list, suitability of swimming pool for toddlers, childcare offer, value for money).

Skier's paradise.

We stopped in for three days of skiing on the legendary downhill course and the entire Kitzbuhel complex. We were thrilled to be only 30 metres from the end of the ski-out on The Streif. We literally had to walk down the hill 50 metres to get on the gondola. Indoor parking was great and was included in the room rate. The service was exceptional. We'll be back.

Smart hotel in a very smart resort

Hotel Kaiserhof rated top hotel in Kitzbuhel by comparison site. Spotlessly clean, very helpful staff and beautiful resort. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Swimming pool and spa facilities perfect.
Hotel is a little on the outskirts of town, no distance to walk into town but a steep climb on the way back up.
We had very hot weather so kept all the windows open. The noise was pretty bad from the nearby trains. Cars and motorbikes and revellers at the hotel opposite kept us awake until the early hours one night.
Kitzbuhel is delightful, very chic, great for restaurants, coffee bars and people watching in the Main Street. Lovely shops but rather pricey. Fabulous scenery and views. Stunning resort and hotel, would definitely recommend.

Everything about the Kaiserhof is excellent. Our room was large, warm, great shower, wifi worked great and we had views over the mountains. The 5 course dinner every night was exceptional - great food and great service. The Hofer family who own the hotel even provided a champagne reception one night. The location is also exceptional - very short walk to the cable car and at the end of the ski runs. The ski room also provided heated boot warming! All the staff spoke good English and were extremely attentive. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

We stayed at the Kaiserhof for five nights in late December. Let me say first that we are very experienced vacationers and have stayed in lots of resort properties in several countries. The Kaiserhof was a true pleasure for us. Our rooms were ready when we arrived and Check in was super easy. We were concerned since adjoining rooms weren't available but we were upgraded to a junior suite and a room that were next door to each other, this was fine for us since our kids are pretty self sufficient. The staff parked our car in the garage at no charge for the entire stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful with guidance on excursions and maps of the area. The food was really nice (we only had the breakfasts - nice buffet! The kids loved the selection of juices and hot chocolate and we liked the omelettes and occasional pancakes) and there was always a basket of apples on the front desk and a platter of cookies in the lobby.

The property is less than 30 meters to the ski lifts and the ski school is next door. Super accessible! And only a short walk to the town to visit the shops and restaurants there. We did not try out the spa facilities in the hotel but we did swim in the pool which was fine.

One more thing of note. I NEVER felt like I was being nickeled and dimed (sorry for the Americanism). Internet was included, parking, breakfast, morning cappuccino, whatever. I never felt like the hotel wanted to upsell me or find ways to add on more expenses.

The hotel is just a 2-minute walk from the Hahnenkamm train station. Unfortunately, my wife and I got disembarked from the main Kitzbuhel train station and had to take a 10-minute taxi ride to the hotel not realizing that the next train stop would have put us right on the front door! So, if using the train, go to Hahnenkamm! The room temperature was too warm even with all the heat turned OFF, and the hallways were smoky. Other than that, the stay was quite nice and the breakfast was very good with lots of variety. Would recommend.

We stayed for four nights--October 23 to 28. The hotel was welcoming and comfortable. A sumptuous breakfast buffet was included in the room price, and we took half pension, getting dinner as well for a very reasonable price. The meals were wonderful: a set menu for soup and appetizer, with a choice of three main courses, plus a dessert, in addition to a dessert buffet of cheeses and ice creams. However, getting to the town of Kitzbuhel from the hotel meant a short walk downhill, thus a walk uphill coming back. Also, after the first week in October, the cable cars do not operate until December, so we could not go to the mountaintop.

Our first trip to Austria, and couldnt of been happier with our choice of hotel, clean, comfortable & the staff were all very polite and helpful. The whole ambience of the hotel is very relaxed and the staff are very efficient, there is a great cocktail bar with an excellent manager \"Fabian\" who will make anything you want, if not on the extensive cocktail menu, plus in the afternoon in the cocktail bar snack food is layed on everyday which is included in the cost of your stay!. Hotel in great position, the Gondala is only 500 yards from door of \"Heated\" ski & boot room of Hotel. Centre of town only 5 mins
walk from hotel, so couldnt have been better placed.
Will definately choose this Hotel when we return to Kitzbuhule.

This was our second visit to the Kaiserhof in Kitzbuehel and we can't wait to go back again. The staff is extremely attentive, friendly, and detail oriented. We were greeted on check in with a handshake, and treated like VIP's throughout our stay. The sauna facilities (included in the price) are top notch, and the hotel location can't be beat if you're a skier. Fabulous!

We were absolutely delighted to find that this hotel, despite its being less costly than most other places in Kitzbehuel, was phenomenal!! Travelling with two children, ages 8 and 10, the Kaiserhof was perfect for us. Our accomodations were lovely and roomy. Though the beds were a little hard, the lovely decor and spectacular view made up for it. It was easy to get to the centre of town, one of the gondola lifts is about 30 seconds away, and yet it is at the end of a quiet street. The breakfast buffet was amazing! The staff were more than accomodating. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. If we ever go back to Kitzbeheul, this is where we are staying!! Oh - just a word to the wise, don't let the kids wear pjs to breakfast.

Warm Feeling

This is the type of hotel that you can relax in and that you look forward to coming back to after a hard day's walking. The balcony gives you extra breathing space in the room and thus makes the room a little home. There were no tea/coffee making facilities which was just as well or we or we might have stayed too long in the bedroom.
The wellness centre was something special and you could luxuriate there for hours.
The staff were very helpful.
We stayed bed and breakfast only while most people were half board. If you wanted dinner just having the main course caused problems as a la carte was off the menu.
It is not a hotel for children which suited us as a couple in our fifties.

If you are looking for a hotel with action this hotel is not for you! The bar was always empty and there just wasn't anyone around. However downtown was only minutes walking distance.
