-Room was very spacious. Nice greenery view from my hotel room.
-Nice room and bathroom and very clean.
-We went there to crash at night on our road trip so it was perfect.
-They have a EV charging close by.
-We arrived late in the hotel but the front desk was open and the folks at the reception was very nice.
-I saw that there was a sauna but we did not have time to use it.

The Best Hotel Stay Ever!

First time in Germany, or Europe ever. Blindly booked this Hotel, and was amazed at the property and all of the staff. Not knowing how to speak German, the staff was eager to take time out for me to help me navigate the city of Schweinfurt. First time in Germany and I was made to feel safe and at home! My daily breakfast buffet was absolutely delicious and unbelievably prepared! Amazing chefs and restaurant staff. Most notably was “Matthew”! Very friendly and informative. Knowing that I was there alone, and unfortunately with Schweinfurt and/or Germany spent every available moment with directions sights to visit. He kept my safety in mind with trains, taxis and whenever I was going on foot. Normally I’m difficult to completely please, but I couldn’t find anything negative to comment. I certainly hope the management there values “Matthew” as much as the guests there do!

Stayed for 3 nights, the hotel itself is impressive and modern, although the rooms don't quite live up to the appearance of the lobby. Very friendly and helpful staff, the room was very clean and comfortable! Had an issue getting into my room each night due to the room card being a bit temperamental (don't keep it anywhere near your phone or wallet, although i kept mine separate and it still wouldn't work) but that was a minor issue to what otherwise was a lovely and welcoming stay!

Very nice hotel in a perfect location, on an island in the Main River with a view of the city of Schweinfurt on the other side of the river. Beautiful, quiet, no traffic, and in walking distance of everything Schweinfurt has to offer.

Staff enters the room without knocking, not really the best approach.
But they were all friendly and left a good atmosphere.
WiFi was disruptive, they had to reboot the system several of times to get it running.

The front desk staff is very courteous, friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable. The bath room sink and the bathtub do not drain well. The Wifi can be more consisten but These are just a minor issues . Overall I had a very pleasant stay at the Mecure Hotel. I would say there again.

It was easy to find. The staff was exceptionally hospitable and welcoming. They provided us with maps of the historic city center, which was just a short walk over the bridge. The riverwalk in front of the hotel was a popular promenade. The breakfast buffer was good. Very enjoyable stay!

We were given a room at the back which was lovely and quiet. It was a large room too. Check in was efficient and quick. We were happy the hotel had air conditioning as it was quite warm. Wifi was strong. Parking was right outside the front and there was plenty of it. The hotel breakfast was varied, fresh and ample. It was only a short walk to the old town and there was a highly rated Italian Restaurant just a 100 metres or so away, however, despite their great reviews we were disappointed with the restaurant.

Great Stay in Schweinfurt

The stay at the Mercure in Schweinfurt was very good. Convenient location - walking distance to town. Great Main River bank location. Reception staff were great as were the restaurant staff (special mention to Mr Haci). Breakfast choice and quality excellent.
Room was spacious and very comfortable bed. The only issue were the cleaning staff. We stayed Friday to Monday and the room only seemed to get \"half done\". Missing towels, tea coffee and bar fridge not replenished etc. Rang down to reception and it was quickly rectified. Happened to often and that is only reason it was not rated an overall 5.
Would definitely stay again and would recommend both town and Mercure Hotel Schweinfurt to travellers wanting to stay somewhere different.

We were transitioning from one part of Europe to another and chose this as our rest point. I wish we had spent more time in the lovely town. Check in was a breeze and the staff person on duty was lovely. Our room was comfortable, clean, and large.

We ate in the restaurant twice and neither meal was great lacking in taste and reheated rather than fresh

Very modern and stylish hotel next to the Main River. Dog friendly area and the front desk even brought our dog water upon arrival (w/o asking). The hotel is close to the center of Schweinfurt, and the breakfast was excellent.

When we return, we won't hesitate to stay at the Arcadia again.

Maininsel island surprise.

Lovely hotel in an excellent area. We lived opening the large window facing the river to watch the sunset. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. Restaurant breakfast and dinner selections delicious. We will definitely stay again!

We keep coming back

This was our third stay at this hotel. We love the location on the island. It makes for quiet nights. Silke, who reigns over the night desk has become a dear friend. Rooms are comfortable, clean and well-appointed. My only complaint is the wi-fi. Though it mostly worked for me, it was the source of a fair amount of dissatisfaction.

The hotel was nice and situated on the river. However, to get to the city center required a bit of a walk (10+ minutes). I'm used to being right in the city center, so this was relatively out of the way compared to what I prefer. However, for those not minding a walk, this isn't a bad location. Hotel had a restaurant that served German cuisine that I thought was a bit overpriced with a sparse selection; service was excellent however. The reception was very pleasant and provided outstanding service. Convenient parking garage attached. Pets allowed for reasonable cost.

What more of a location could you ask for? Right on an island in the middle of the Rhein river? I have stayed here a couple times now and would go back again and again. The hotel is beautiful, the staff amazing, and the location is perfect.

Das 2 mal laut und unmöglich zu schlafen da sehr laut trotz Hinweis morgens um 1 Uhr war bis ca. 2 Uhr laut wie auf einem Fest hier gibt es anscheinend keine Nachtruhe. Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. War schon öfters hier daher weiß ich das es eine Ausnahme war. Achte in Zukunft darauf ob eine Veranstaltung ist.

Rigtig fint hotel.

Vi overnattede på hotellet 2 gange i forbindelse med rejse til og fra Italien. Dejligt hotel med fine værelser samt rigtig god morgenmad med stort udvalg. Hotellet ligger i gåafstand til byen. Hotellet tilbyder ligeledes parkeringskælder med opladning til bil. Staff er meget venligt og imødekommende.

Licht: schöne Lage und ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten (begrenzte Anzahl auch kostenfrei, aber Parkuhr nicht vergessen); stets freundliches Personal
Schatten: leider hatte ich bei diesem Aufenthalt Pech mit der Zimmerzuteilung - Nr. 327 grenzte direkt an einen Wirtschaftsraum und war in Fahrstuhlnähe; daher war die ganze Nacht ein dumpfes Schlaggeräusch zu vernehmen (Wäschtrockner, Fahrstuhl,...???) - da eine nächtliche Reklamation bei einer Übernachtung mir dann doch zu aufwendig war, habe ich mich damit abgefunden

Bei Ankunft erweckt das Gebäude von innen einen gewissen Hallenbad Flair aus den Neunzigern. Alte Teppiche in Fluren und auf den Zimmern runden dieses Bild ab. Sauberkeit war akzeptabel, was auf das Alter der Einrichtung zurückzuführen ist. Das Frühstück bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Parken, Check in und Check out wurden vom freundlichen Personal zügig erledigt.

Das Mercure Hotel in Schweinfurt ist ein ordentliches Business Hotel mit direkter Anbindung an das/im Kongresszentrum. Die Zimmer sind sauber und in Abhängigkeit von den anderen Gästen ruhig. Es gibt einen Fitnessraum und eine Sauna. Zu Fuß ist die Altstadt gut zu erreichen.

Zimmer mit Blick auf dem Rhein was sehr angenehm war, bequemes riesiges Bett, Badezimmer war auch ganz gut, mit Badewanne und großen Waschbecken. Der Föhn könnte schon besser sein.
Der Empfamg war nicht so toll, Kalt und unfreundlich.
Finde es außerdem Teuer wenn man schon 5 Tage übernachtet noch 12€ am Tag für einen Parkplatz zahlen muss.
