Clean, relatively comfortable with free breakfast
Clean hotel. Parking is only 500 yen (~$3.75), and is on-site, but is an automated garage, so you need to take everything you might need with you as it is a hassle to get anything out of your car until the next morning. Breakfast looked good, but the menu only showed salad and rice (traditional Japanese), so we declined but saw juice and pastries as we were leaving, so would have taken advantage of the free breakfast had we known. Bathroom is small, and washcloths are not provided. The bed was a queen size, but very firm. The room was very comfortable and the temperature was easy to adjust.

Breakfast was very limited if you require western food, just one roll or toast and coffee. Internet was fast. Biggest downside was the 4 pm checkin, which was very inconvenient for us.

Stay at Toyoko Inn Nishitetsu
Toyoko Inn Nishitetsu is very conveniently located from the Kurume Station on the Nishitetsu train line. It's only a 5 minute walk. The station has a grocery store and many restaurants. The service at the hotel was good, and the hotel employees were friendly. The bed was a double bed and really comfortable. Points for improvement is the breakfast. While nutritionally adequate, it would not be worth 800 yen for most Japanese. The protein choices were soupy scrambled eggs and a tofu salad. There was no fish (as is usual in Japanese breakfasts) or bacon or ham. There was shredded cabbage, a spinach and bean sprout dish, and a macaroni type salad. There was also no fresh fruit, although there was fruit juice. The miso soup and mixed rice were pretty good. For me this breakfast was OK, although I have had better breakfasts listed at 800 yen at other restaurants.

チェックイン22時までとありましたが、間に合いそうになく問合せしたところ快く24時までお待ちしておりますと対応してくださいました。
朝ごはんに握りたてのおにぎり、パン、みそ汁もあったかな？うれしいサービスでした。アメニティーはフロント前でとってエコ活動で回収しており環境への配慮を感じました。今回は時間がなく経由地だったので23時過ぎチェックインして9時前にはチェックアウトだったので久留米の町は散策できませんでしたが繁華街の立地で便利だと思います。

土曜日11時過ぎというご迷惑な時間でしたが、フロントさんに高速バスの時間を調べていただきました。迷惑な話なのでマネはしないで欲しいのですが、わたしはほんとに助かりました（久留米⇒天神⇒福岡空港、は結構乗換えが大変なところ、直通バスで行けたので）。

駐車場が立体のため、ホテルに着いて駐車する時、係の人に突然車検証見せてと言われて、大きいから無理と言われて，近隣も駐車場がなく、雨の中遠くの駐車場に泊まることになり、駐車料金が3倍以上かかりました。対応も悪く、最初からそう広報していないし、大きい車の提携もないしで、大変不快でした。宿泊のアメニティも充実してなかった。
