This is my fourth time here! Couldn’t recommend it more. Torri is fantastic, quieter town but accessible to other bigger busier areas (Riva, Garda etc). It is only about 30-40 minute bus ride from train station at the bottom of the lake. Torri has lots of water-front restaurants, nice bars and local independent shops. Plenty ice cream! This hotel is perfect, 5 minute walking distance into Torri. Lovely clean spacious apartments. Pool and lounge areas are peaceful and have spectacular views of the lake. Very reasonably priced bar with very pleasant and attentive staff. Totally recommend

Beautiful location and views from the property. Friendly staff that went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, relaxing and easy.
The property was clean with great sized rooms and extra facilities.
The area was beautiful and well kept with plenty of lake front restaurants to choose from and bus connections to Verona.
The only unpleasant experience was that we felt a bit of hostility from local shops and residents despite our attempts to learn some words and consider ourselves quiet and respectful tourists.

It is a very cozy hotel, with kind & nice staff. Fresh food, clean rooms. Awesome views and very good location ( close to shops, cafes , bus stop ). Parking is a bit tricky since it’s very tight & small. The pool is also small but very clean .
We loved this place and highly recommend it.

Lovely stay at Lake Garda

Lovely stay at Torri Del Benaco. It was our first time visiting Lake Garda. The town is big enough to have several different dining options, plus there is a great restaurant with amazing staff right on the property. We loved sitting on our balcony enjoying the views and lounging by the pool with drinks and snacks. Our teen kids had a loft with two twin beds and we had a bedroom downstairs. I was sad to leave. Thanks for everything!

The best hotel in Torri, and perhaps on Lake Garda. Our third time here and certainly we'll be back again. The location is perfect, just a short walk to town and with gorgeous views from the rooms, the bar/restaurant and the pool. The staff are consistently brilliant and the food and drink is all reasonably priced. If you're driving, do be aware that the car parks are VERY tight so if you're not confident, may be best to park in the public car park and walk up.

This property is awesome. The views are different from each unit, but the one we had was beautiful. The unit was roomy, comfortable. The employees at the office are very pleasant and helpful. The parking spots are tiny, and we had hard time parking our large SUV, but other than that this place is incredible.

We arrived on 28/8/24 and was a late arrival at 8pm, the key & entrance instructions were very clear and all went well but we were immediately very disappointed with our room, (room 8) The room was plenty big enough for the two of us but first thing the following morning we asked to be moved to another room as we had paid for a lake view, not the best view of the lake at all due to been on the ground floor (a garden room) at the corner of the hotel, the view of lake was obstructed by a huge tree trunk and trees to the side and in front of the patio, we frequently had other residents walking down the side path and across our designated patio area, making sitting out to enjoy the relaxation near on impossible. We stayed in room number 8 for 3 nights, then we were told we could look at another room (number 41) superb room & €260 extra to pay, which we paid purely for the privacy & the view we though we would get with the 1st room.
This is my 3rd visit to this hotel, the staff are very helpful and attentive and try to make sure every guest leaves feeling they had a wonderful holiday.
I would like to visit again but would make sure we are on the 1st floor with a balcony & lake view next time.
Also a word of warning the mosquitoes were particularly bad this year, my husband was bitten in excess of 20 times and looking around the hotel lots of folk were bitten too, not the hotels fault just the time of year. Mosquito repellent, room sprays & anti histamines required.

Highly recommend. The pool is mostly quiet from young kids with spectacular views and all the staff were great. A down was the air con which was very poor in the room and we struggled to sleep and get cool. All the local restaurants have exactly the same menu which is a shame.

Fabulous location close to harbour and restaurants. Stunning views. Delicious food. Lovely staff. Small pool which was most welcome. The slope up to the hotel my Mum of 85 struggled with. And a few stairs in the gardens down to the pool and up to the sun terrace,chad no handrail.That's the only negative for her.

A great hotel in Torri del Benaco

Incredibly friendly staff, especially Naomi was very helpful and cheerful. The room spacious and clean, and to me a very comfortable bed, the bathroom is large and clean, though for the size the shower could have been a little bigger, the balcony had a lovely view over the garden and across the lake. Great space to sit and relax. Nice kitchenette if you do wish to cook. The bar has a great view. Again with frendily staff. Swimming pool area available and some pleasant relax areas. Good value for money. It is 5 minutes walk to the center of town with plenty of resturants and shops

This is our 2nd visit to Residence Ca’ Del Lago. We had a wonderful holiday and will stay there again. The hotel is looking down on Torri Del Benaco so giving us a lovely view of the town, Lake Garda and the castle & Harbour not to forget a view of the beautiful sunset every evening. The property has friendly and helpful staff who are multi lingual so there is never a problem with a language barrier. The hotel is very clean, beds are very comfortable and there is everything you need in the room, utensil’s in the kitchen etc.

Excellent stay at this beautiful property. As a group of four ladies we stayed in apartment 3 which had a double bedroom and large loving area which had a double and single sofa bed.
Wonderful stay here, short walk to the lake to catch boats to other areas. Loads of restaurants within short walking distance. Hotel has stunning views of the lake and also has a wonderful pool and a beautiful bar/restaurant area with stunning views.

I would highly recommend staying at this hotel, it’s amazing and perfect location. They even arranged airport transfer from Verona airport for €90 each way for minivan.

Staff were lovely - really friendly and helpful. The only downisde was that when we arrived at around 14.30 there was no one in to check us in and we had to wait until 16.30 outside for someone to arrive and check in. We were not allowed to wait inside.
Good selection of food at breakfast, although this was extra, you had to book in advance and there is no option to include breakfast when booking.
Hotel was clean although the room could have done with some revamp and modernisation, looking somewhat shabby.
The rooms seem to be provided on a self catering basis, they provide basic kitchen utensils, plates and dishes, and teh expectation is that you will need to wash these yourself after use as teh cleaner leaves them unwashed. This was not communicated to us, so it's wise to provide your own washing up liquid as this is not supplied in the rooms.
Shower was OK. Staff spoke very good English too, All in all,nice hotel, very quiet and realxing but could do with some re decoration and freshen up..

Superb place to stay. The hotel is a short uphill walk from the lakeside, with lovely views of the lake, and easy reach of the many good bars, shops and restaurants. The town itself is quieter than some other places on the lake. The hotel facilities are excellent, staff are friendly and have good English, and it is easy to self cater or breakfast at the bar with panoramic lake views. Highly recommended

Residence Ca' del Lago was perfect for us. The design of the individual apartments is very clever, so they all feel separate joined by stepping stones. They retain a lovely italian rural feel and I believe most have stunning views over Lake Garda. Our family room was spacious and always clean. The kitchen had everything we needed including kettle, pans and 2 hobs. A grill would have been useful. The pool is small but lovely and never crowded as most people are touring the lake so just spend a bit of time there. The pool bar is gorgeous with amazing views.

Great place to stay. The room had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. The kitchen area was perfect for making breakfast and lunch which could be taken on the balcony enjoying the fantastic views of Lake Garda. A short walk into Torri where there is a good selection of restaurants and a fabulous patisserie.
As other guests have mentioned there are three areas to park and the spaces in the covered areas can be a little challenging if you have a larger car.
All the staff were friendly and helpful and we would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Lovely place to stay on Lake Garda. Torri del Benaco is a smaller, quieter resort. Ca' del Lago is 200m set back from the lake and slightly up a hill. It gives great views over the lake and is only a 10 minute walk into the centre. The rooms are very clean and comfortable, with a small kitchenette. Breakfast available, but no restaurant.

Fantastic! We spent Christmas Day here and had a feast including gifts from the hotel. We really liked the sustainability factor of the hotel, that laundry was available to us for free (some instructions may have been good - we didn’t quite know how to use it) and the information provided by the hotel was excellent. It was close to the Christmas markets and the lake front. The staff were really friendly and kind - it would be worth visiting in summertime. The room was quite spacious for a family of four and there was a back room to use if required.

A lovely apartment style hotel on several levels situated a 2 minute walk above the very pretty town of torri del benaco where there are plenty of lake side restaurants/bars/shops and a great monday market.
The hotel staff were all very welcoming and there is a lovely bar with great views of the town whilst you sip a hugo the lovely aperitif with elderflower and prosecco -( my wifes new favourite cocktail) overlooking the town and lake as the sun sets..The swimming pool was very refreshing given we were in 37 deg c heat.
There is parking below the hotel in closed garages which is great and is lovely spot in which to head up and down the lakeside to other similar attractive towns.
A place we definitely want to return to.-loved it

This was our first time in lake Garda, the hotel was perfect and the location was fantastic only a few minutes walk to the Lake edge. If you want to explore the whole Lake then we would recommend the ferries as they are a great way to get to the different towns. We preferred the north end as the scenery was beautiful and dramatic with the back drop of the mountains. We took our teenage children and they also had a fantastic time.

This hotel is a real find. I've stayed here for twice now for a girls break and have been more than happy with hotel and service. The rooms are spotlessly clean with quality bed linen and very comfortable beds. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The upper rooms have magnificent views over Lake Garda. It is a short stroll downhill to the lake front and not too much of a strenuous walk back. Torri Del Benaco is a really laid back relaxing resort. Would highly recommend.

lovely apartment, a fabulous view over the lake and mountains. room was spacious and had everything we needed. The sofa bed is huge and very comfortable.
Staff were friendly, helpful and spoke English very well.
We were in room 3, which was mostly very good, but as a light sleeper I was disturbed by a mechanical noise which lasted most of the night, at first I thought it might be bathroom fan but I think it might have been because we were above the parking garage.
The garages are very difficult to park larger cars in and we found the open air car park much easier as we have a people carrier.
Breakfast was lovely, with lots to choose from.
It's only a short walk to the main town, and we emnoyed evening strolls down the the harbour.

Beautiful view of Lake Garda

This place was a highlight from our trip to Italy. We'd never been there and spoke practically no Italian but the staff were SO kind and SO helpful and made us feel at home. Our room had a stunning view of Lake Garda and the surrounding mountains and we loved how it was a less than five minute walk down the hill to the middle of Torri del Benaco. We were able to borrow bikes from here as well and cycled around Torri all morning and afternoon. We wished we could've stayed longer and cannot recommend staying here enough!

Beautiful view from balcony terrace

Spent 6 wonderful nights while exploring Lake Garda. Torri del Benaco was a lovely town away from the busy part south of lake. We spent one day driving around south of lake and caught car ferry back and then another day driving north of lake and caught car ferry back again. Staff very courteous. Washing machine facilities were very helpful while travelling a long time away from home.

nice view but noisy rooms

we have stayed at this property before and decided to return for a week. The property is in an elevated position to make the most of lake views but if you are elderly or of limited mobility it is probably not for you . we had a studio on the reception floor but their is not a lot of privacy from the next door room as most patios have no dividing wall or fencing so if sitting on your patio you can almost shake hands with your neighbours. We also found the studio very noisy at night with no soundproofing between the units and constant noise of extractor fans and air con units in adjacent rooms but this problem is found in a lot of accommodation these days. The pool is unheated and used by very few people and it would be a good addition to provide a pool heating system. There is a continental breakfast provided at 12 euro per person but we found it easier to provide our own .

Wonderful Lakeside venue

Delightful views, interesting multi level layout (with lifts) and nice gardens/balconies which exploit the position. If you take the breakfasts, they are terrific, although we mainly used the in room kitchen. Torri is smaller and feels a little classier than the larger resorts, but the other lakeside resorts are easily accessible. It is nice that the road is routed inland from the lakeshore meaning walks along the lakeside are not affected by traffic.
Hotel staff were always attentive when required, unobtrusive when not.
The only concern for anyone elderly or with kids in buggies is that the walk up to the hotel, though short, is steep.

Excellent place to stay in Lake Garda.

Excellent all round. Views from our apartment were stunning. Pool area was great. It was also really close to walk to the centre of Torri Del Benaco ( about 5 mins). There was a small but steep hill up to the residence which may make it unsuitable for those who find it difficult to walk. We were a family of 4 using the apartment and found it ideal. At first our kids slept in beds upstairs but ended up sleeping on the fold out bed in the living area as the air conditioning worked better downstairs. Would definitely go back.

Hotel in a wonderful location but not on the lake

This is a nicely situated hotel, the staff are friendly but you are not offered any assistance with luggage from the garage to your rooms. The hotel is very clean with rooms a reasonable size. The pool is an issue, not enough beds for the rooms they have, always crowded with people putting down towels early morning to reserve space. We were never able to secure a lounger by the pool despite see beds not occupied for over two hours just with personal good on them. We ask hotel management about this but they seemed reluctant to help.

Not all rooms have an unobstructed view of lake. We had partial lake view. Not right on beach. Easy, very short walk to town and bus stop. Helpful, friendly staff. Ping pong, pool, several free good quality bikes available on site (adult size only), sauna, exercise room, restaurant open 8 am to 8 pm. Food / drinks good. We had three kids 9, 11, and 13 who enjoyed hotel.

Perfect for independent Travellers.

Lovely studio style rooms which feel like home as soon as you arrive. Staff were always helpful and courteous when approached, but left you alone otherwise, which we appreciated as the room did feel like our home with lovely neighbours rather than a hotel room. Torri is a lovely small town next to lake with many good restaurants within easy walking distance of the hotel. Also you have very good wide roads, not at all typical Italian and a good local bus service unusually not piloted by failed racing drivers!
The taxi service used by the hotel was a little expensive, far cheaper (around 20% to Verona airport) to use a cab with a meter.

My boyfriend and I traveled to Lake Garda for the 1st time for a long weekend break over the May bank holiday. Our trip was perfect from start to finish and i can't recommend this hotel enough. The staff are so accomodating and extremely welcoming. They recommended excellent restaurants and even scheduled us reservations. The views are to die for and the rooms are extremely spacious. Yes it is on a slight hill, which unless your over the age of 70 isn't going to be an issue at all. The location is excellent, 1 minute down the hill and your at Lake Garda, excellent location for the ferry and a lots of restaurants and shops near by. Great location to explore the north and south of the lake and not to touristy either. Most of the guests are from Germany or Holland and all are extremely friendly. Great value for money. Lovely hotel stunning views.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel at the end of October2014. We really enjoyed our stay but the only problem we found was the resort was starting to close down for the end of the season so restaurants were very limited and did not offer full menus. We enjoyed the ferry ride across the lake . We also used the local bus service to visit Garda and our hotel staff gave us a timetable and the local shops sell bus tickets . We would love to visit again but maybe in the summer when it would be busier .

A week at Lake Garda

Stayed a week here in Torri Del Benaco and at this wonderful residence. Very helpful staff and very friendly and could not do more to make our stay more comfortable. It is set in an ideal location up on a hill with the most amazing views of the lake. Remember to note there is a steep walk up to the hotel from the main road but will help you burn off the calories after indulging the local cuisine in Torri. I would definitely return here to this fantas place.

A lovely quiet hotel in a simply stunning setting.

The town of Torri del Benaco is simply beautiful and very peaceful offering lots of bars, restaurants and stunning lakeside walks however, Garda was found to be so much better for shopping for bread, milk and groceries. We used the hourly local buses to travel to Verona (1hr 10 mins), Garda (8 mins), Riva del Garda (50 mins) and the many towns in between. Sitting on the left side of the bus travelling towards Riva and the right side of the bus towards Garda offer absolutely stunning views of the lake and mountains. Bus tickets can be bought from the small store at the bus stop in Torri del Benaco and cost 9 euro 80 cents for a return to Verona (zone 6) Riva del Garda requires a zone 5 ticket and Garda, zone 2. A tip is to buy your tickets before you board. Buying a ticket from the Driver is possible however they cannot sell returns and it is a few cents more expensive to buy them this way. Lake tours are also fabulous. The boats run to most of the towns around the lake. A tip to sailing the lake is to do it on a cool dry day. Heat is exhausting and the heat haze will severely restrict your views. A cool clear sunny day will offer you the best conditions. I recommend a crossing from Garda to Sirmioni via Bardolino and Lazise as well as a cruise from Riva del Garda to Brenzone via Limone. Venice is also too close by to miss. Only a 2 and a half hour journey by bus to Venona Porta Nuova stazione then on by train to Venezia-Santa Lucia stazione it offers a fabulous day excursion.

Perfect for peace and quiet

Situated on a hill overlooking the old town, this hotel was a small oasis of comfort. We had a large family room with a kitchen and a nice garden. The staff was friendly, they gave us a baby cot for free. There was a small swimming pool with a magnificent view. I recommend the hotel to people who are especially looking for peace and quiet.

Fantastic in every way!

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every area! Fabulous views, peace and quiet, brilliant and friendly staff, comfortable rooms and everything we needed on our doorstep. The area of Torri Del Benaco is also beautiful, full of locals, and away from the hustle and bustle of the other touristy parts of Lake Garda. The restaurants had delicious reasonably priced food and wine-hotel was great at recommending some.

Wonderful location

You cannot fault the location and layout of this hotel. Staff always friendly and helpful. Views amazing. It is a steep walk back up from the lake but very short distance so not too bad. Unfortunately the weather wasn't as kind as it could have been for us and we went in the music week so nights were a bit noisy. Otherwise nothing bad to say. Do try Trattoria Da Olivia. Stay clear of Gardaland!

Hotel is off the main road up a bit of a slope and the hotel itself is on three/four levels up the side of a hill. Very quiet, being back 200 yards from the main road and pretty much in a cul-de-sac, but close enough for an easy walk into town in a few minutes. Brilliant views over Lake Garda. Pool is small, is on the top level and no shade but views are great.
Staff were exceptionally helpful and followed up whatever was asked. Worth asking them to arrange airport transfers (Verona) - no trouble and worth the money.
They even had umbrellas there for rainy days.
We had a room with no lake view but a lovely garden with table and shade and peace, so who cares?
Torre del Benaco seemed to be dominated by Italians, Germans and cyclists. The town is small and quaint but has more than enough eating places and shops for variety.
I would not hesitate to go back to this hotel.

We arrived from Venice via train and bus. Bit of a hike up the hill but once we arrived we fell in love with the place. Offered a larger room but opted for the 'penthouse' room 30. Fabulous view over the lake and the mountains. What a view to wake up to every morning !! Excellent service from all the staff. Particular mention to Julia who met us on arrival and Mauro. (Ciow Mauro. Come stais oggi?). Who put up with my attempts at Italian. Recommend the Latte Macciatos and the Aperol Spritzs. Both served with a few extras.

Torre del Benarco is a lovely place and from there the bus service can lead you to Verona or Limone. Both fab.

We stayed at Ca de'Lago the week before Easter 2014. It is a peaceful hotel up a steep road, the views of Lake Garda are amazing. Everything was spotlessly clean and the staff charming and very helpful. We would stay here again and recommend it particularly for couples.

Very relaxing quite Hotel just 5 mins from Town

Great place to stay , our room had a lounge dinning area a small kitchen area and a good sized bedroom. Veiws of the lake were great, Hotel staff very helpful. Pool area very nice.It just a short walk into the town that has some good resturants, bars and shops and lovely harbour area with bars and some low key live music. Great views across the lake.

A real hidden gem!

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Torri Del Benaco where we stayed at the Residence Ca' De Lago. This hotel is a real hidden gem and is perfect for families or persons wishing for a quiet and relaxing holiday. As the hotel is situated on a hill, the views of Lake Garda and the town are breathtaking. We stayed in one of the hotels self catering apartments, which had everything we needed and was extremely clean. The hotel staff were very helpful and polite, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel restaurant only served breakfast, but this wasn't a problem, as it was only a short walk down to the town, where there were plenty of restaurants to choose from that were reasonably priced. We only stayed here for a week, but were extremely sad that we hadn't booked for longer! I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and families, and we are looking forward to returning again next year!

Loved it !!

We loved this place! Torri is one of the more quieter places but there were loads of lovely places to eat and plenty of shops as well as a couple of mini supermarkets for the essentials Getting round was so easy by bus - just buy a ticket at the tabac, which is right by the bus stop, or alternatively take the bus to Garda and get on a boat. The Hotel was perfectly situated but beware it is up a slight hill but this then meant that the views were perfect and it was nice and quiet as it was well away from the main road noise. The rooms are very well designed and individual. The staff are so lovely, from the reception staff to the maids, to the gardener - all of them seem to go out of their way to help and make your stay great. Would not hesitate to recomment to anybody x

Perfect hotel, perfect location

Stayed with my wife and 2 year old daughter in a Studio room. Everything was perfect about the hotel: very clean, modern, small kitchen, excellent quiet a/c, high quality bathroom. Pool was not large, but big enough to cool off in and play with my daughter. Breakfast was good value at 10 Euro. Staff were excellent, really helpful, gave great advice. Parking was tight and a challenge, but finding a hotel in this region with secure covered parking with a lift to the rooms is almost impossible, so a small price to pay. The location is on a small hill, great views, cool breezes, a slight climb from the local town, but no problem. Local town is 10 mins walk and has everything you need: bars, resturants, shops, beech nightclub. Recommended trips: Veronna (30 mins by car, easy parking, good shopping), Venice (2.5 hours by bus from the local town, but by far the best way to get there) and Gardaland, Italy's take on Disneyland. The hotel is not cheap, but you really get what you pay for,

Great escape with amazing views

We went to Residence del Largo to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was so beautiful, we were blown over by the quality of the hotel and the amazing view from our room. You are a short (hilly) walk from the main square. It is in a brilliant location although is up a steep hill and in the full Italian sun is tough. The pool is quiet small and when we visited was full of children, balls and inflatables. So was not as relaxing as we thought it would be although their is a sun terrace a short distance from the pool. I would have no hesitation in recommending the hotel and had a truly fabulous time. We only stayed 4 days but enjoyed the beautiful hotel weather and food the village had to offer. I would love to go back :-)

Lovely but slightly marred...

Hotel was well located near the town centre. Problem with our holiday was 2 fold - a very noisy couple of families whose children were allowed to run riot round the pool and hotel from 6am to gone midnight. No one seemed to say anything from the hotel staff and it was uncomfortable using the pool/garden etc with so much noise. Also the check out was at 10am, not ideal with a little baby and a flight at 8pm, afterall even a Travelodge will give you until midday!
