Overall we enjoyed our stay. The hotel although isolated is very comfortable, the rooms spacious and food very nice. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the ‘grubbiness’ of the restaurant staff. I guess the shirts must have been white at some point but most looked unwashed, with dirty trousers and shoes. For me there is no excuse for this. The housekeeping staff were very well dressed and there is a laundry available which we used, and our clothes came back immaculate.

What I didn't like was that their Pool couldn't provide an enjoyable experience. People are gathered and eating near swimming pool.
Bar area is also near the pool. So there is no privacy.
Pool could be enjoyed by kids but not by adults.

Stayed at the property for 3 nights on a work trip. There was an afternoon party that went into late evening with music blasting through the whole hotel. At 10pm i called the reception to turn down the music and i was told 10:30 is the quiet time so I waited - called back the reception at 10:45 and was told sir 5-10 more minutes. Called back at 11pm and same thing. I had a flight to catch at 4am and i couldn't sleep until midnight. Horrible Horrible support and action taken by the night manger. I will never return to this property ever again

Interesting. The check in was very slow, but i believe that was due to a parade of people walking by. Our driver had to wait for them to pass. Must have been thousands of them. Our room was quiet, but our children had very noisy neighbors at 4 a.m. Called the front desk and rec'd no help.
The restaurant, Cosmos, was very good.

The hotel was beautifully manicured and professionally maintained. Their included morning buffet was excellent as well as the lunch and dinner at a very reasonable cost. It was very easy to get transportation services, also, using their own drivers. Room service was very prompt, and the staff made me feel that they were genuinely happy to see me.

Is everything perfect? No. Wi-fi was poor, and there were short-term electrical outages during the day (like, lasting only seconds at a time), which may have nothing to do with the establishment. Cellular service was decent and allowed for compensation for the WiFi at times.

I considered these issues very minor, especially considering the price. I was so well taken care of in this hotel located on a guarded, large property, which included homes. \"Retreat\" is a great descriptor to include for this very clean accommodation.

During the three nights I stayed, they hosed a number of large groups as well, so this seems to be a desired location for wedding celebrations and large gatherings. If I had brought a bathing suit, I probably would have borne the embarrassment of wearing one to enjoy their amazing-looking swimming pool, too.

I would not recommend this hotel if you plan to stay close to airport. its 15 min from airport and no Uber or Ola cab will come to pick you up...you will have to book a taxi from the hotel that will cost you Rs. 1000/- which should actually cost Rs. 150 in an uber.
The hotel is also have a feel like a motel and over priced...

There was no soap, shower gel, towels are old and thin.
Room looked nice on a picture online, in reality paper walls are coming off, there was some screaming noise in the middle of the night. Online it said that airport shuttle is 600rs, the hotel said that it is a mistake, and the cost is 1000rs meanwhile it’s 9min ride and should cost no more than 250rs.

Our flight reached at 1:30 am and we checked into the hotel around 2:30 in the morning. The front desk clerk was very courteous even at the odd hours. The room was very clean and spacious. The only thing I felt was that the mattress was not that comfortable.

i booked the hotel through expedia on 21 st july 2019 for one night. Being an NRI i was flying back to USA 22nd early morning.
1. At the check in tine receptionist were rude as when they saw the cpl of friends who came to drop me at the airport when i fly back
2. I had bought alochol bottoles in duty free shop which was sealed and not opened. they didnt let me take them into my room which is a suprising. They said they dont allow outside alcahol. But they do have bar inside where they have sky rocketing price . For example .Chivas scotch bottle ( 12 yrs old ) 1 lit i think 12K INR & royal salute ( 12 yrs) 750 ML bottom for 50K INR ( $735) + vat+GST+ sales tax etc---:)
3. How come any room guest will not be allowed to carry bottoles with him into the room when checking 1st time.
4. I booked delux room and at the time of check in i upgraded the room to suite by paying another 4.5 K INR. Even at that time they didnt let us know about alochol policy. there are no Sign boards in the lobby or at the reception .
5. After 20 mins i asked them that we will check out and we dont want to stay there and asked to refund the amount paid for upgrade they said NO .
6. In the bathroom when i pulled a towel there was big lizard in the towel.
7.when they say no alochol then they should make it as alochol free campus with proper sign board or while booking the hotel. either expedia or hotel should display a message or about their all Unique polices.Its all cheating and fraud BECAREFUL

Restaurant had many flies.
Room alloted for first day was very small, though a colleague booked through other portal got bigger room at same price. When I raised this issue, room was changed only next day.

They cancelled a booking that was already paid for stating it has serious legal and other problem. Further, they charged more than that was stated. It was my individual effort to get the booking transferred to another one with huge effort. The property where I transferred charged far less but was one star more in service! Appears to be a racket. Strongly advice to de-register from your listing

OK for one night, close to airport

Only used hotel as an overnight stay to get to airport. Facilities and food OK if you don't mind local cuisine. There was a private pool party on during the evening I stayed between 7pm and wound up about 9:30pm but when it was in full swing the music was really loud, everyone in the hotel who may have been trying to get some rest would have heard full blast Dance music which was annoying. Overall Hotel is a bit dated, rough around the edges but OK for one night, as a business traveler I wouldn't want to stay longer.

Great retreat from the busy city

We needed a place to spend our last day and 2 nights in Bangalore after a work trip. This was the perfect retreat from the busy city. Very close to airport, yet tucked away with a relaxing atmosphere, beautiful pool and nice amenities. Staff was also very friendly.

In my experience there are 3 types of hotels in India.
1. International Hotels with all the amenities you'd expect. Cookie cutter, but very comfortable. Insulated from the surrounding world.
2. Local bed and breakfasts that can be really charming and friendly. Definitely have the local feel. Services may be limited, but they make up for it with charm.
3. Local hotels that try to pass themselves off as fancy resorts or international hotels and totally fail and just deliver a bad experience.

This is #3. Its not a good place to stay.

Nice hotel, not enough staff

I arrived at 11:30 PM after a full day of travel. Unfortunately my room was not ready and the front desk personnel had to quickly find someone to prepare the room. I waited another 30 minutes before I could go to my room. The following morning I was called by the front desk at 9 AM and asked to check out immediately as the next guests had arrived and were waiting for their room.

In addition, though Karnataka grows more coffee than any other state in India, the restaurant only serves instant coffee. We asked for brewed and they did make it for us, but it was luke warm at best.

No non-smoking rooms

Hotel is located close to airport, peaceful surrounding and simple room.
Floor was dirty - meaning walking barefoot and my foot will catch gravel/sand and get dirty...
Main disturbing thing for me was the cigarette smell in the room.
The smell was on the bed and pillows and was very hard to sleep.
They have no non-smoking rooms to their claim when I complained about it.

I think it is OK hotel apart from cigarette smell but the value for money is not worth it.
The room rate was $90 but I would rate as $50 hotel at most...

One good thing is that internet was fast, it was down the whole morning once they fixed it - i was able to get 12Mb/per-sec...

Good business or transit hotel.

This is not really a location for a holiday, but a transit hotel well located for the airport or city in it's own grounds with good security. The rooms are well equiped & clean with a very comfortable bed. The public areas are well presented but I was a little disppointed in the menu in the restuarant, which has a vast number of choices but for some reason didn't insire me. We waited some time for our food despite there being only three people in the restaurant, however it wasn't a big problem. Staff are very courteous. Well recommended for business users or if in transit.

Decent hotel near bLR

The staff is very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is reasonable, good and comfortable if you need to be near the airport as Bangalore City is quite distant. The food is decent but not over 3.5 star. The rooms are adequately furnished for a 3.5 to 4 star level. I would stay at this establishment again if I needed to be near the airport.

Hotel is close to BLR, good for a quick overnight. It's maybe 10 minutes to/from the airport. I'd arrange a pickup and dropoff via the hotel; is might cost $2-3 more, but they will definitely know the way...airport cabs may not know how to find the place. Breakfast is ok, not fabulous, but good variety. Rooms are clean and quiet, wifi is reasonably fast.

Comfortable stay close to airport. Great service at reception. Good food. Had to ask for bedroom to be swept on check-in as crumbs on floor - over-sight. Rest of the room & hotel very clean.

Driver very helpful. Had a few hours to spare and so went to look at the nearby fort to stretch the legs.

A good choice for airport arrivals/departures

We stayed here because it is very difficult to find hotels close to the airport, and ultimately, we arrived at 3:00 a.m. Unlike other reviews, our cab driver had no difficulties locating the hotel, and we were there in five minutes. It is very quiet, which is rarely the case in India. Our room was spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. Contemporary western decor and bathroom, spacious room. For a late arrival, or the need to stay close to the airport for your departure, I would definitely stay here again. It is pricey by Indian standards for what you get.

Nice and relaxing retreat.

Great front desk staff, very professional and kind. Food was fantastic. The people who answered the phone for room service were not so polite, and upon bringing the food to the room were very pushy about coming inside, though my wife was asleep, and it took a lot of convincing before they would back off. That was a major annoyance. The bathroom was quite dirty and not properly put together, though the amenities were modern and functional. I would stay again as it is located only 5 min drive from the airport. The grounds are beautiful and I will certainly come back, I only wish it had been cleaner, but as one who has traveled a lot in india, it was no problem as the bed sheets were fresh and the shower worked which is often not the case in many places I have stayed. All in all nice place.

Best hotel near the airport

This is the best hotel that I have stayed at near the airport in Bangalore (I have styaed at 2 others). This is the one that I will go back to as it is convenient, and has all the comforts required for a short overnight stay. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the pool area is very nice. Make sure you remeber to bring you insect repellent so that you can enjoy dinner around the pool.

Good place to spend the night and catch a plane

The hotel is located away from the chaos of Bangalore a short drive from the airport. The staff was efficient and friendly. The rooms were quiet and clean. The free internet was slow as they were having problems with the lines. I was unable to stream. It wasn't working one evening and the front desk let me use their 3G drive to download my eticket and print it out and to check my email. It was up a short time later. The grounds were a quiet respite and their outdoor pool was large and inviting. Breakfast was included in the price.I will definitely stay there again when in Bangalore.

The hotel is close to the airport, but there is nothing to do. It has a small pool (no comfy chairs) and a nice entrance hall, but otherwise limited facilities. We were driven to a small mall 30 min away but it only had a few shops and none of interest! The large mall was 2 hours drive away! There are some nice restaurants and we ended up going to one of those.
The rooms are spacious and clean, but I would not classify it as a 4 star hotel based on European standards.

On the day of our stay, the hotel was hosting a corporate event and they were over booked. So they upgraded our rooms! The hotel is great for a lazy getaway. I do wish they kept the pool open for longer than 6pm. Especially in summers when it's bright until at least 7.

A Wonderful Respite Before my flight home

The hotel is very near to the Bangalore International Airport, which made it a convenient place to stay before departing on an early morning flight. Transfers were provided with a very reasonable surcharge. The Hotel itself was quite lovely, with attentive and polite staff. The restaurant was quite good, and reasonable in price. And, my room was lovely, overlooking the garden. I would stay there again in a second when I next return/depart from Bangalore.

My stay, itself, was very nice. However, when I arrived at the Bangalore airport the car that had been arranged was nowhere to be found. When I called the hotel to find out what was going on, they could not find my reservation or confirmation without my emailing it. I waited at the airport for over an hour to find my reservation, then was told to take a cab myself to the hotel. It was just frustrating to me when I had gone to the effort of minimizing the pain of my long travels.

Stayed at the hotel because we needed something close to airport. Good experience. The night front desk person was very efficient, courteous and polite.

Remember to hire a cab at the airport instead of through the hotel. We were charged only 250. instead of the 800 or so one would be charged through the hotel.

Should be a good hotel, but...

The hotel is nice and clean, but the overall service, the poor food quality and the overall experience is not one that matches what this hotel looks like. The major complain for me is the constant loud music that plays at night for various parties organized at the hotel. It seems that the hotel, usually overcrowded by various groups, turns into a disco at night, and loud music is played everywhere and heard in every room. Considering this is a hotel closed to the Bangalore airport and many flights leave in the middle on the nights, having incredibly loud music and loud people playing and talking until after 11pm is not a good idea. The hotel staff only seem to care for the big groups, and not for the couples or small groups visiting. if you are looking for a quite stay before your flight, DO NOT choose this hotel. Also, the quality of the food and the restaurant service are quite poor. Overall a very negative experience.

Nice hotel away from hustle and bustle

Overall the stay was memorable. It was secluded and quite which is just what i wanted. if you are looking for a hotel near whear the action is then this is not the hotel for you. the restaurant was good and overall service was good. the only complaint i have is with the gym attendant. i requested to use the steam room and they required that I give some notice so that the room can be prepared. Fair enough. If no one uses the room then its not practical to keep it running. So i went after 15 minutes only to find the room as dry as the Kalahari dessert. Then the attendants tried to convince me this is how steam rooms should be dry and tepid. I had to call the manager to get this fixed which it was but then after 20 minutes the steam stops and we have to wait another 30 for it to start again. so i gave up. apart from that experience the overall experience for the money you pay was ok. I should mention though that the restaurant staff were quite helpful.
