Amazing location. One block to the Green line Hynes Convention Center stop and Newbury Street.

We booked a one bedroom and it had a good amount of space. The only draw back is you could only access the bathroom through the bedroom, so kids had to walk through our room to access. Otherwise nice layout.

This was honestly one of the nicest and best hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The staff was incredible and catered to all of our needs. Our room was gorgeous! I absolutely loved having a suite and all of the room to move around in. The hotel was very charming and gave you the perfect Boston feel. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

The Eliot staff are by far the kindest in the city. They were very welcoming and helpful in every way. The entire place was super clean and was in a good location. Didn't have a parking lot but does offer a bit expensive valet. Though there was plenty of self park options nearby. The room was lovely but the entire hotel is on the small side. There is no real lobby to relax in for a bit and there is no real business center. I do think the price was too much for what if offered, but I did LOVE the room.

Fantastic location and exceptional staff. Room was well situated, spacious, and comfortable. Some issues we experienced: elevator was not always functioning, toilet plumbing in the room seemed to have a leak, electrical outlets didn't always work, carpet was somewhat stained, TV casting from phone was an option but not working well for anyone in our family. We enjoyed our stay for the most part, but if these issues were fixed, it would have been a better overall experience.

The hotel was really nice! Also cute old school stay with real keys and not key card. Provided a comfortable stay for a night in the city. Everyone seemed very sweet from the Dorman and bellboy to the front desk people. Room was nice with a little living room, bedroom, and bathroom had a mirror with a ledge when you first walked in so you could set up face stuff. There was valet parking when we came and they took the car to a garage and we just left it there the whole time because easier to Uber and walk around city then worry about parking. We called 30 mins before we wanted to leave when checking out and they brought it around.

We love the Eliot and stay there often. This time since I was traveling alone I chose a smaller room (usually get the deluxe suite) called the deluxe queen room. There was a stark contrast in experience. The room was fine. But that's it - fine. I could have been any random mid level hotel so I was disappointed, and the walls were thin and the rooms on either side of me had guests who were sort-of loud and I could hear one of them snoring through the wall - tho the rate was much less - so much so that I wondered why when I booked. As usual the staff was very nice. There was an issue with the wifi and the promptly sent someone up with a portable modem for me and it worked fine. So we will definitely return to the Eliot but I feel like I saw behind the velvet curtain a bit - will book the suite next time!

This is a lovely hotel, conveniently located near Fenway Park and the Charles River Esplanade. It has an old world charm with modern amenities. The service was excellent. Very friendly and accommodating staff. The room was clean and well-appointed, and includes turn down service. Comfortable bed. Surroundings are quiet. I was disappointed in the breakfast buffet; limited options, and not a great value for the money. Go to Café Sauvage nearby. This is a special hotel. I would return, and also recommend it to others.

To say nothing of the ornate and beautiful property itself, the room was immaculate, the staff was among the most courteous I have ever encountered, and I received an early check in time for a complimentary room upgrade. The rooms are good, staff are extremely helpful and kind. There is no place to sit in the hotel other than your room. The Japanese restaurant is awful! Good for someone who’s never had Japanese food. Great location. Don’t like that they bring dogs into the room to do sweeps, feel this is unhygienic. Great for a short stay.

This is a great hotel but we were unfortunate to be given a room next to the lift (412 - avoid) but were moved to another, however the smoke alarm battery died at 1am and this started beeping - this was sorted quickly and the hotel refunded $100 which was excellent.
We will definitely consider staying here again

Our second stay at this hotel - great quality to the facilities and amazing helpful staff. Location was great for Fenway Park and away from mass tourist crowds visiting Boston. Great location! We loved walking to Boston Commons each day and being close to fun locations, restaurants and bakeries. The room was okay. As a family of four not having counter space in the bathroom was hard. The room could use a deep clean.
