The staff was very attentive.

I had two double bed rooms, Both were fairly clean but had a distinct smell that worsen after we turned on the air conditioning unit. I pull our the filters and they were very very dirty. I cleaned both of them with towels in the room, but one room my granddaughter was still coughing and complained of the smell, so I requested another room. I was given another ( Single king) room, when I went to inspect it, it was a person sitting on the sofa watching tv, I immediately ran out and went back to the front desk and was told the counter staff someone was in the room, he told me that room should have been available but it was not...I learned later it was a relative/ staff member of the owner. My family and I were exhausted, tired and ready to get some sleep .

The bathroom area had loose hair in the tubs and the poop fans were covered in dirt. We went to a local Walmart to purchase cleaning items after we could not find another hotel in the area . We clean our rooms, went to sleep and left the following morning.

We had a very nice stay. The hotel is clean and the staff was very friendly. My only complaint is the breakfast. They do have a waffle maker but the batter had a funny taste and the available muffins were hard.

I'm not really sure how this motel gets a great rating. We were in rooom 111. One wall of the room is the lobby on the other side. They have a video game area set up on this wall. They also had a large group of construction workers that were out there until after 10:30 pm making lots of noise. Across from our room was the breakfast area. At 6 am that was noisy with said construction workers eating. So hardly any sleep time. Breakfast was not well stocked. The milk was empty, and very limited choices. Our room had visible dirt around the bed and walls. Behind the nightstand there was dirt and debris. Overall a very poor experience.

First room was not clean at all. Bedding was torn floors hadn’t been vacuumed/mopped in awhile very dusty .. odd calendar hanging on the wall.. second room was a bit better floors still looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while.. not sure what the smell was but it was not a pleasant one.

When I arrived no one was at front desk and receptionist didn't arrive until 10 min later from running an errand and noone seemed to be around to say she was out nor was there a sign to indicate will return soon. Room had bugs crawling in window seal, I was offered a new room further away.

Absolutely terrible experience. The bedding in multiple rooms was dirty and clearly unwashed — I had to switch rooms three times because of it. On top of that, some of the rooms were missing latch locks, which made me feel unsafe. The staff did eventually issue a full refund, but the overall experience was unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Beautiful room, but won’t stay there again

Took 30 minutes to get someone at the front desk to check into room. There was ice cream left in freezer. Trash still in trash can from previous guests. Bathroom door would not shut. Balcony door knob was broken. Had to fight to get someone to fix the doors. DVD player in the room but they had no back up for when the dvd player decided it didn’t want to work. They had to swap our tv out because there was something wrong with it. The dial on the hot tub to adjust the jets wasn’t even operational. Had to turn the tub on with a light switch on the wall that was across the room from the tub. The pool was absolutely disgusting. Slime all over the bottom of the pool. As beautiful as the room was, it was not worth the extra $100 I paid to be upgraded to the room that Hotels.com pictured. Also, side note, don’t believe the pictures for this hotel on the app. I thought I was paying for the deluxe suite with the hot tub which was pictured. I was not. I ended up having to pay an extra $50 per night to get upgraded to the room pictured.

Pawning off a smoking room

We booked a nonsmoking room. When we opened the door, we were hit by a powerful smoke smell. The manager said there were no other rooms available and they had smoke detectors that would tell her if even a candle were lit. (I believe there are no such devices). She then offered me a half can of smoke masking spray (?). Why did she even have that? We were able to cancel the stay, but were inconvenienced by having to find another room at 10pm! (Notice in the photo this room is the only one without a 'no smoking' emblem)

When we arrived, the front desk worker told us our room was canceled. She said someone had called and cancelled. However, we did not cancel the room. She was not accommodating after we had just driven nine hours only to find out they had canceled our room. She tried to have us book a Motel 8 another hour away. There was no explanation how our room was canceled. She couldn’t tell us when the person supposedly called to cancel, the number of their person who called, or a name. It appears they gave our room away to someone else who was willing to pay more money. I had a confirmation number and email showing my reservation. It didn’t matter. If you want to be confident your room will be there when you reserve a room, don’t stay at this hotel.

This was my first trip to the area and I was on the fence about staying here after mixed reviews from associates. I decided to try it out because of how close it is to where I needed to go. I was very pleasantly surprised with the property and my room. The lobby was cozy and inviting. My room was very clean, updated and spacious, with a very comfortable bed. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, and I was immediately comfortable. The hotel is in a great location, close to shopping and restaurants. It is a great buidget friendly option and I will definitely be staying again.

I would have given 5 stars, but the primary reason we stayed here, and it's about the only option in town, was the pool, which was not working. We rode our bikes here all day and this was our stayover, purposely for the pool. I guess I should have called a day or two before so I could change my reservation, but I did not.

It was better than I expected. The location was convenient, and the staff was welcoming and helpful. The property was very clean - the lobby, room, and breakfast area. The room was well maintained, with newer carpet, tile, and decor. The bed was comfortable. Just be sure to ask for a room other than 111. It is right off the lobby directly across from the breakfast area.
