The hotel is located in the heart of Chiclayo, just 5 minutes from the Plaza Mayor and the park. There are also many magnificent museums in the region, as well as the Royal Tombs of Sipan and spectacular archaeological sites, including Túcume, the Valley of the Pyramids', making it an ideal base for exploring the wilderness of the North Coast, which is one of the most historic regions in Peru.

The historical town centre is a 7-minute walk, and the beach in Pimentel is 15 minutes by bus. The hotel is around 10 minutes from the airport.

Renovated in 2012, the city hotel has an iconic modern structure, with a total of 129 rooms, and is ideal for business travellers and holidaymakers alike. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour check-out service, as well as a hotel safe, cloakroom, ATM and currency exchange, and lift access to the upper floors.

Desde un principio Casa Andina Chiclayo mostro una comunicacion muy buena con nosotros, cuando pedimos un Early Check-in nos lo dieron de inmediato, claro pagando el fee, pero en otros lados ni pagando nos lo han dado.
La habitacion muy comoda, la cama super buena, el baño limpio, muy acogedor el room.
Todos muy atentos y serviciales.
Pensamos volver el proximo año si Dios nos lo permite, en este viaje visitamos Casa Andina Chiclayo y Casa Andina Piura.
Pero...lo que no nos gusto y se que no es culpa del hotel...fue la bulla creada por los partidos politicos postulantes a la region y alcaldia, justo ese dia que llegamos al hotel era el debate en las instalaciones de Casa Andina, lo bueno es que se fueron y pudiemos dormir placidamente.

Security on premises

Very good experience. However, hotel needs to provide better security on premises, a hotel guest (girl) was mugged in front 9f hotel - muggers took her cell phones money and credit cards. Don't know where hotel security was. Hotel did not call the police right away either.

We rented two rooms at this property and in one room the air conditioner was forcefully set at 27 degrees and would not go lower. In our other room we also could not set the temperature but it would go down to 21 degrees and we would have to manually shut it off completely and then back on again when we got too either too cold or too hot. They also weren't serving alcohol in the restaurants saying it is some ordinance because of COVID but the liquor store around the corner was open and the law they are talking about was just for New Years Eve and New Years Day and only prohibited alcohol sales at public beaches or public pools -- not nationwide everywhere and not on the 2nd of January the date of our stay. You had to go out of the hotel just to get a drink. They charged us 10 soles for providing a small bucket of ice. They tried to charge the bottle of water I had already bought at the restaurant with my meal to my room. They came chasing after us to pay for the restaurant meal we had charged to our room when we were already in our pajamas saying we did not pay for the rooms with a credit card so we had no tab. But I did pay with a credit card for both rooms when we checked in. They treat their guests like we are all thieves and children and nickel and dime you for everything. Not a pleasant or relaxing stay at all.

Had money stolen from the room.. didn’t use the safe which was my fault.. reported to manager who didn’t even inform police.. i have informed Expedia.. avoid this hotel at all costs.. also everytime I tried to accessed the room the card wouldn’t work so had to go back to reception.. nobody speaks English either.. I will never stay in this or any hotel accociated with it again..

I stayed here 4 times in the last 12 days and I feel like home. I was allowed to check in earlier without any fee. Staff is very friendly and nice. I left my laptop in the room and the hotel contacted me right away to let me know they found it. Love their professionalism!! Definitely I will come back again! Thanks for a great stay!

The entire staff treated us extremely well the entire week that we were there. Renzzo and Claudia’s customer service was off the charts!

Wonderful staff and amenities.

The staff, service, amenities were all great, there was a bit of a problem with a local club being a Friday night make quite a bit of noise on the backside(poolside) of the hotel. They were kind enough to offer us free earplugs which was about all that could be done, or they would have allowed us to move to a room on the other side of the building.

Stopover in Chiclayo

Just stopping over in Chiclayo while travelling south on the busses. Very nice hotel. Nice breakfast. Did not explore the hotel neighborhood but it was directly across the street from a very nice park. This must be one of the nicest hotels in Chiclayo and in the entire north region of Peru.

Honeymoon night!

We stayed at Casa Andina after our wedding and checked in late and was greeted by friendly staff.
The room was very clean and spacious and we slept very comfortable.
In the morning, we went down to the restaurant and had a complimentary breakfast that was amazing. We had fresh coffee and papaya juice. There was a buffet with fresh fruit and chicken curry with potatoes. We also ordered omelets from the menu. All of this food was complimentary and all the food was fresh and amazing.
Thanks Casa Andina Select for making our wedding night special.

Reasonably-priced, comfortable, modern hotel

Our family stayed in the Casa Andina Chiclayo for three nights, with two rooms. It felt safe and the staff was kind and responsive. The only problem we had was an air conditioner that worked very well during the day, but stopped blowing cold air at night when it got a little cooler outside (likely due to being low on refrigerant). They had a maintenance worker look at it promptly, but he was unable to diagnose or fix it, so it did disturb our sleep every night. Note that they did offer to give us a different room, but we assumed the problem was resolved when it started working again in the morning -- it took us a couple of nights to figure out that it was an intermittent but permanent problem. Our children's room had no hot water the first morning, but that was resolved and worked fine for the rest of the stay. Other than that, we had a very comfortable stay; we would likely stay there again.

Very friendly staff and good facilities. The only place to stay in Chiclayo as other hotels are not as good for the value. This is a good quality hotel and staff do speak English. Great shop in foyer selling Alpaca clothes that recently started is good. Great breakfast. Wifi is free in room now which is just fast enough - better that free only in reception.

False advertising

I booked through Expedia where it clearly states Breakfast included. We booked two rooms with 4 adult and 1 child. When we asked about the breakfast they said the the site was old and breakfast was not included. We ended up paying for our breakfast. Also, it states free internet, but it's only free if you pay daily. Thankfully Expedia stepped up and helped, but I won't stay at this hotel again, even though it was nice.
