The check in process was smooth and professional. The room was nice. There were some maybe abandoned vehicles in the parking lot in the back but overall we felt pretty safe. Nice big grassy area for dogs. Good breakfast. Would stay again.

Bad odour in room, widow was open wide in an obvious attempt to remove smell. Heater was off, so room was very cold, took a long time to warm up. Not sure why Best Western would rent a room in this condition!

Staff was fine. Mattresses are hard and uncomfortable. Pillows are half size and with no substance. Breakfast was not great. Every was empty, except almond milk, which was thick like yogurt. Sausage was good. Gravy was runny and bland. Biscuits were dry and hard.

The room was mostly comfortable. The challenge was finding the right temperature because it was so cold outside (in the teens) that it affected the thermostat on the unit. I finally dropped it down 10 degrees below normal room temperature and was comfortable afterwards. The staff was great and answered all questions that I asked. The breakfast was good with plenty of choices. I loved the biscuits in particular this morning!

Staff here are great!! Ashley was very friendly and informative. They accommodated all of our needs. Rooms were clean and the breafast good. My wife enjoyed the quality of soaps and amenities provided. The bar/restaurant onsite also had some great indian food and friendly service. We hope to get a chance to stay again and try the outdoor pool when the weather is warm.

The external door to the building our room was located in did not close properly, resulting in poor security.
The \"Grill\" restaurant had school-cafeteria-like food which isn't bad but over-priced for what it is.
The breakfast buffet lacked healthy options, cheap plastic utensils, and undercooked waffles.

Room and bed were comfortable. Breakfast was good. Hot tub looked disgusting - murky water, humidity dripping from ceiling, bubbling paint. Needless to say we didn’t get in, and that was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel.
Breakfast was much better than the Super 8, but the Super 8’s pool and hot tub will have us staying there again.

I called the front desk because I had sewer backing up into the bathtub and our family all needed to shower before we could leave. We talked to the front desk multiple time and every time they said they would send a maintenance person to look at the issue. We waited 1.5 hours and no one ever came to our room despite talking to front desk 3 times. We ended up going to the front desk showing the front desk attendant a final time a picture of poop water in our toilet and he never once offered either another room for us to shower in OR a credit for the inconvenience.

The room wasn’t clean. The bathroom counter wasn’t wiped down and had hair and sticky gunk on it. There was hair all over the bathroom floor. The hotel wasn’t busy at all but I was put right next to a guy hacking a lung all night so didn’t sleep. Not sure why all the guests had to be right next to each other.

Older facility. Needs to smell fresh. Appreciated the bathroom remodel.
Lighting throughout the room was a cold, utilitarian white lighting, instead of warm lighting to make one feel more at home.
The lobby was uninviting with Hindu god statues - this is America, not India. Not a good feel. Front desk personnel were business like and impersonal.
Breakfast was not as good as other Best Westerns we’ve stayed at.
Bed was fair.

The on site restaurant served good choices of craft beers and had a full bar. The food was very good, Cobb salad and Waygu burger.
The free breakfast had a great variety of choices and was fresh and hot even near the end of her serving time.

The room was ok but it had a weird smell. The man checking me in seemed to be really sleepy. When my husband went to buy some snacks from him the guy chared him $126 for $15 worth of snack. The total was $18 which seemed high for what we got and the next morning we had another charge from the hotel of $11 that we don’t know what it was for. Be careful here they try to scam you.

I had to stay in the dog parent area so not the best of rooms but perfect with dogs. Very clean room did not like the barrier free shower because it is not inclined and so it wet the entire bathroom floor. That the only bad. I have stayed here without dogs and those rooms are better and the ice maker works in the other buildings.....

Great place to stay. Well-maintained rooms and a security access door, and no direct public access. Good as the hotel is near the interstate. The pool and surrounding areas are beautiful. The restaurant and breakfast areas were clean and well-maintained with courteous staff. The room even had a balcony, which was a bonus. Excellent place to stay, and the restaurant has great food for dinner and lunch as well.

After checking in, I pulled up to park my car by my room to find an old toilet and other garbage strewn about on the lawn in front of the entrance. In the room itself, the water came out brown in the bathroom (it cleared when run for a while, but I still didn't feel comfortable showering in it or brushing my teeth with it)...and the electricity in the bathroom did not work. Normally I would have refused to stay here, but after driving for 10 hours, I was physically exhausted and decided that sleep was more important than the stress of complaining - which would either mean changing rooms or having a maintenance person drop by - both of which would have caused more stress. In the morning, there were insects crawling all over the bathroom floor. I've stayed here before and never had these extreme issues...I think it's quite obvious that I won't be back.

This is difficult. This hotel, The Best Western Sunridge Inn in Baker City has a great location and we drive through town about every six months. It's honestly not a great hotel, though. We travel with our service dog and they put us out in the north forty in a sterile room. The beds were comfy and the customer service was great! However, the room feels like a poor house. It isn't pleasant, the lighting is blue LED and gives me a migraine, the room was also sterilized with bleach, and between that costic smell and the smell of paint (which I swear they were painting six months ago too) it made our throats burn. It is run down and, despite the new carpet and constant painting, this hotel needs some serious upgrades. In fact, Baker City as a whole needs a new hotel option for travelers. There is a restaurant on the property and it did have a pretty good pork chop and a cook in the back that swears a LOT! Who knew your pork chop came with entertainment! In all fairness the hotel staff did move our room to an \"upgraded room\" in a different building that smelled better but still rundown. If they tell you that you have to be in the back building with a dog, that's not entirely true. They moved us by the pool.

Parking is plentiful, and reasonable. Continental breakfast has lots of reasonable variety. Although hard boiled eggs shouldn’t be peeled before they are put in a fridge. They get rubbery and don’t taste good at all.

I’ve stayed here before. It’s definitely gone downhill. I was looking for ice. Finally the fourth ice machine I found was working. The first three were out of order. The bar and grill was closed the night we were there. A big disappointment to us. In the morning we had breakfast. I used the restroom and there was no toilet paper in the stall. This is a very poorly run facility.

The other stall one side had no TP and the other roll was jammed in so tight you couldn’t get any toilet paper from it.

Very clean hotel! Good size room and bathroom. Comfortable. Beautiful flowers everywhere, around the pool, all walking paths, just so refreshing and inviting. The staff was exceptional! Kind, helpful and many smiles! Location was perfect for continuing on our journey. Albertsons a block away and a band played in the park just down the street. Great place to stay.

We have always stayed at this property when visiting Baker City \"Or. Staff is always friendly. This breakfast area was kept clean. Nice variety of food to choose from.

The staff in the breakfast area was very attentive to checking on food items and cleaning up spills from patrons of the area. Wiping down tables for the next group of visitors. very friendly. I should have got his name as he was very good at his job, so whoever was working the weekend of 8/18/25 in the morning of the breakfast area, GREAT JOB ! you were noticed.

We chose this hotel off of what seemed to be a positive rating but found our accessible king room to smell horribly. The bathroom smelled like old cigarettes and the room like old food. The bed was extremely uncomfortable and the four pillows provided were very small and flat for a king size bed. The bathroom grab bars were dirty around the toilet and shower and the floor grout had gross stains in places. I walk with two canes and had a difficult time managing the bathroom door which closed itself while you were trying to enter or exit the bathroom. Overall the room just didn’t feel very clean and was not worth the money we spent on it. We ended up leaving before breakfast the next morning. I do highly recommend the Sweet Wife Bakery which is where we found breakfast. I do not, however, recommend this hotel.
