Ok place to stop and sleep. Hot tub was out of order. TV didn’t work for several hours but eventually got reset and fixed. Carpets are stained and musty smelling. Beds were clean and sauna was nice. Continental breakfast was nice. Staff was nice. Overall not amazing but not bad.

Shower has visible mold in the grout and caulk around the tub, pressure and temp was goosd. Even though the room had a no smoking sign, it absolutely wreaked of cigarette smoke. I opened the windows but it didn’t help. My clean clothes and pyjamas stank. When I mentioned it to the front desk the following morning, she said she couldn’t very well ask people not to smoke and that all the vents are connected. This was a stop over on a snowstormy night on my way to Grail springs and had to pay for them to wash my clothes after trying to sleep at this stop over for 8 hours. The only good thing was the breakfast.

Decent cheap motel, and great location for a night of snowmobiling. Right next to OFSC trail. Also pet friendly which is very important to us! Staff were nice and accommodating. Pool and Sauna were nice. Hot tub not working. Rooms were a good size, beds comfortable.

Not cleaned well though! Our room smelt like weed when we walked in, and as we looked around we saw little pieces of weed along the window sill and on the tables.... So clearly not being wiped down. Mold on the shower curtain and debris on the floor around the beds where they miss vacuuming.

Overall good stay for the price, for a fairly low maintenance family!

The door to the area we were in slams every time someone comes into the area. A slow release on the door would fix it. A little paint and garden care would give it street appeal. Breakfast could be improved. There was a large stain on a bedding cover. All easily and inexpensive improvements.

The staff at this hotel is great. It is an older hotel but it is kept clean. The TV service is not that great. We did have an issue with the TV service not working in our room so they switched rooms for us. Even then the service is not that great. However that does not matter to some people.The continental breakfast was fair. Overall it is not the best motel but it works for what we needed.

Although the property and rooms are dated, they are clean and provide a functional experience via the bathroom, chairs to sit and read and TV plus having a fridge and microwave. And the outside and surrounding area is nice to walk around, especially down to the river. The continental breakfast was lovely with a good selection of items to choose from. And the desk receptionist was kind and helpful.

2 nights away for a get away and checking out some areas for atving in the fall.
Great motel. Better than i was expecting. The room was cozy and the tv acty works (past experiences with tvs at other hotels this yr have not been great when you don't understand internet tv systems).
I booked also because of the pool which looked great but we didn't get a chance to use it.
The breakfast in the mornings was also great. Best make your own waffles, cereals, muffins, juices, hard boiled eggs.
We will definitely be returning in the fall for the colors and atving.

Breakfast offered coffee, tea, juices, boiled eggs, choice of cereal, muffins, toast, English muffins, yogurt, fruit and waffles. It was more than enough to get your day started. I gave the hotel an extra star for their staff. They were super responsive and very friendly. Rhonda at the front desk was amazing and extremely helpful!

Night away from it all

Cant blame the hotel for the massive power outage, so will base the score on everything else. The motel is a little fated, but spacious. Our room was a suite, which was much bigger than anticipated. TVs only worked for a bit, had troubles with them at the beggining but then worked better. Games room qas a nice touch, just be prepared to pay for anything.

We have stayed here many times and have always a good experience. Staff are always nice and helpful. After a day out in the woods, we come back to our room, everything is replenished and clean and it’s great to go for a swim. Wish the hot tub worked and there was more selection for their breakfast

Conveniently located but neglected property

We stayed one night during our road trip. Convenient location however disappointed in the rooms. Musty smell, old furniture and carpet, ripped curtains, whole place is in need of a deep clean and upgrade.

The room was expensive for what it was. Pubic hairs on the shower faucet was an instant put off. The facility is the only one in town, that why they can ask for high rates. Pool are was very dated, hot tub has been out of order since covid.

The staff tried to change my credit card ( one I no longer use) it didn’t go through, so my reservation for 2 rooms was cancelled without any notice. They were then unwilling to help in any way. As we were travelling on motorcycles 6 hours from home with no accommodation, I was less than impressed. One of the people in our group is a travel agent, so this will not go unnoticed.
I expect some feedback on this ridiculous situation.

It’s great I stay there every Monday for work. The staff are great the location is convenient. There is two small things they can upgrade one the pillows are half pillows and two the blankets could be replaced they are these old weird itchy blankets kind of like the fireproof material. Just the pillows and blankets need upgrading besides that I have no complaints and will be a weekly costumer.

Bit dated (not necessarily in a bad way, it's almost a relic of a time long past, but expect some wallpaper damage and some mild moisture damage in the bathroom). Besides that, clean, didn't smell too much (literally opened a window for a minute and it was fine, the smell of any hotel/inn room). Check-in was easy, parking was a breeze, breakfast was at a humane time (6:30am-9:30am) and not unpleasant (I mean, it was good. Don't expect gourmet). I didn't get a chance to check out the other facilities but they appeared to be good as well. Overall, considering what you're getting for the price you pay, it was well worth it. My only real complaint was that there was no fan in the bathroom, but there was a window which I guess has the same effect.
