we lost power for about 3 hours, after the first 30 mins we went to the staff to notify, after another 30 mins ( 1 hour) we went back to the staff to ask about the power situation again and they seemed to have forgotten, after another 30 mins passed (1h30 mins) another inquiry was made and they seemed surprised that the maintenance person hasn't come to our room yet. after this we waited another hour and a half ( 3 hours) and called down, to of which the phone rang for a long time, the power suddenly came on and no one answered our call.

The front desk staff - amazing. Truly people first service.
The 3rd floor air conditioner was blowing full force in the hallway making it about 20 degrees colder than the rooms. This was reported to the staff. Breakfast was included and was the best breakfast ever. No cold cereal and boxed eggs. Fresh everything and the coffee was perfect.

Stay was good. Was exactly as pictured for the pool view 2 bed room. The chlorine smell is strong in the room even when the door is closed which was fine for us but might be an issue for others, i would choose a non pool side view if its an issue for that reason.The \"arcade\" is actually just a pool table, there are swim classes in the mornings in the pool and events in the gym as well so its very busy for those reasons. Staff was very kind. The restaurant was nice, the food was delicious but the morning rush was way too much for one person to work, it was painful to watch the morning waitress try to juggle everyone for the 2 days we stayed. The kids loved the pool and had a great time. Couldnt cast my phone or open aps to log in on the tv to watch netflix or disney though, We tried many different options and in the end, we were stuck with basic cable and one kids channel. No big deal but it didnt work haha.
Thanks for the stay, will recommend.

I made a reservation well in advance. When we arrived to check in, the room I booked was not available due to a maintenance issue. I was not advised of this ahead of time. My booking price was reduced by the amount difference of the room only. I was very disappointed, and I was not compensated for my inconvieniece.

1st the good. Snowmobile friendly. Hot tub was mandatory and was working. Bar/diner was decent, staff were friendly and accommodating, service was very slow, presumably from seasonal volume.
Now the bad, for me at 200 per night in Pembroke ON, the details count. Front door was manual, moving hockey gear and sled gear was ponderous and alot of work. Public bathroom, no towels for 3 days. Toilet paper dispenser was jail grade. And the girl at the front desk with the neck tattoos constantly smoking and pre occupied with her phone threw me off. Not rude, but definitely not friendly. I'd come back, but you get what you give in hospitality.

The facility is top notch with all the amenities including a nice restaurant. Rooms were clean and spacious, looked to have been completely renovated 3-5years ago. The only criticisms i have was the lack of usb type plugs and the body wash and conditioner bottles in the shower were empty. Otherwise, a great stay

Service was excellent at restaurant and the staff of the hotel were amazing. The pool area looks like it could use some repairs and updating as well as the room had some issues with the phone, outlet and thermostat. Also could have been more attention to detail in the cleanliness of the bathroom. Was disappointed to walk in and see men’s beard hairs stuck to the top of the tissue paper box and tissue on sink. Overall for the price of 230 for a night I found it not worth the value.

While we have stayed before and loved it, was not as good this time, room location was horrible, basement and had to walk all the way to end of building, down the stairs and all the way back to the end, while we never claimed accessibility needs, with bad knees this was troublesome. My wife is a smoker and has no problem going outside but the lighting was not working outside the door and while reported each day it still never got repaired. No rooms matching our preferred type were available through BW so we had to go through a 3rd party (expedia) and price was higher now in off season than in the summer. Still enjoy this hotel but will make sure of room location etc before booking again

Overall, very disappointed.
On arrival, the receptionis amazing despite having a bad day (personal issues, computer issues, no AC in lobby).

Room had mold in shower, water settings are “off”, “scolding hot” or “freezing cold”, AC is loud (AUTO FAN helped with noise), room was very humid (clothes and beddings stayed damp).

Restaurant service is low-par in quality. Food is below average, but not bad. Wait time at dinner was 1h20min. Not many vegan option (not expected, though, my choice).

Breakfast opens at 7am. Staff came at 7:15am, to deliver a catering, had to wait till 7:25am for them to come back. As they walked out, I heard them through the doors saying “OMG there’s people, seriously?” (Yes, at 7:15am there are people waiting when you’re supposed to open at 7am).
You get a manually scissors-cut coupon from a regular printer, to get free breakfast. Only vegan option was a bagel with cream cheese (coming on side), and a bowl of fruits. Fruits were litterally 4 pieces of cantaloupe, quarter of orange cut in 3. Bagel came lathered in butter. Coffee taste is far below average. No orange juice suggested. Staff was rude and not friendly.

Catering was late and came missing 2 items, so some people had to watch others eat, and have their meals during the presentation. Food was okay, but subpar compared to other hotels. Gratuity was added automatically to bill, but yet asked again at check-out.

Preferred this to my downtown Montreal hotel

I chose the hotel based on location for a stop over during a long toad trip. Easy access from the highway, good restaurant and bar, clean and quiet room were all appreciated. Also good hot coffee and a ready packed breakfast allowing for an early start were nice extras.

twice I have visited this hotel in the last year and both times received rude and dismissive service at the front desk from the same individual. We have stayed many times at Best Western Pembroke, however this stay was terrible, we were in the basement and was a terrible sleep because of the outside activities - including car headlight directly into the room.. we thoroughly enjoy the restaurant, which was to be open at 6AM, we waited but had to leave, and restaurant was not open at 6:30 - VERY disappointing .. it was terrible that we will not stay at this Best Western again.

Hotel was in a good location for our needs, the room was great we stayed in a standard king, it was a very spacious room with a small kitchen area that had a sink, microwave, small fridge and coffee maker, there was a small seating area that had two comfortable chairs and foot stool. Check in was fine; our room was on the bottom floor - odd smell and very humid. There was a dehumidifier in our room that we had to turn off. The A/C unit made a rattling sound when it kicked on - also had to turn that off. Hotel is showing its signs of age. Also the \"free\" breakfast is very very basic. Better off heading to Tims across the road.
